Our family of five skiers has spent a lot of money with Epic over the years (three growing kids)! We've alway had a good experience until today, when I needed to exchange a set of brand new poles with the tag still on (just a tiny bit too tall for my growing teenage son, needed to exchange for one size smaller). My husband bought the poles last weekend, without me present, and of course he no longer had the receipt, as husbands are wont to do. I figured they have our purchases on file so I went in for the exchange. One staffer was super helpful, quickly grabbing a new set of poles in the size we needed. Unfortunately when the redhead went to do the exchange, she accused me of returning used poles because the rubber on the handles was slightly scuffed--I said no, they were just purchased last weekend and the tag is still on (with the snow was bad as it's been this year, we've hardly been up at all!). I said--that must be how you sell them, because you can see this new set I was just handed was also scuffed up on the handle. Of course after that she found the order (under my phone number not my husband's) but it feels pretty crappy to be accused of something when you're just a loyal customer trying to get the right size gear for your child. I have to say, I'll think twice before visiting this Park Meadows location again. Maybe Aurora will be better. read more

My review for this place will be a mixed bag. I liked that they had what I needed but I had to search the whole store by myself to find it. I was not once approached or asked by any of the employees if I needed assistance. They also have a weird sign on the wall that says do not touch the merchandise unless you intend to buy it. I also like how this location is next to the mall but dont get me started on how difficult it is to try to get to their parking lot. WOW! WOW! WOW! What a great experience we had shopping here! It all started when we called over to find a specific size in some Burton blue Bibs that the Aurora Epic store did not have. The phone service was great, and Lone Tree found my size. We left Aurora after felling misled and not getting good customer service, and made our way to Lone Tree. We came for Snow Bibs, Snow Jackets, Bindings, Gloves and some other accessories (and even stuff we didn't know we needed). The apparel selection at Lone Tree was fantastic! They even have a huge sale and clearance section upstairs. We weren't there for boards or skis, but they definitely had the best selection we've seen. The layout of the store was so nice and organized, and felt big and open. We love the mask policy, and felt safe to shop. We were greeted by friendly people at the front, and then the Star of the show came out on the floor to help us, Judy! Judy was that sales person that knew just how to be with people. She was personable, informative, funny and so so so helpful. She hung with us, but never made us felt pushed or crowded. She was there finding sizes, and options based on what we wanted. She took us all over the store based on every little need. She helped us think of things we didn't think of... like trying on the jacket with the gloves, to make sure we were sealed up from the snow. After having such a negative experience at the Aurora store, we are beyond grateful we made our way to the Lone Tree store. We left with everything we came for, and more! Drove 30 min here because the employee I spoke with told me the kids bikes were running a 30-40% off sale. When I got there there were only 6 bikes for kids, none for sale and none under $450. When I told the front how I went out of my way because an employee misled me all they responded with was "we do not know who that employee is, sorry". I'd been looking for some snowboarding gear at a few stores in Denver (Christys and other Epic Mountains mostly) and had average to below average experiences. That all changed when I visited this store - great selection and excellent customer service. I worked with Tyler in the snowboard department and he was fantastic. He took the time to give me a full tutorial on boots, bindings, and boards. He helped me try on a handful of boots and bindings and went searching for the best fit and best price. Since there wasn't a board that fit me perfectly, he recommended some other places to check out and also reserved one for me at their location in case I was unsuccessful. I never once felt pressured to purchase anything, but I did anyways since I felt so confident after all of the instruction from Tyler. Great customer service with no ski guy attitude. Faster processing than any other rental I've frequented and better priced than competitor across the street. We had an issue at the slope where the boot didn't fit into the bind. It was frustrating, but a rep calmly and promptly walked me through adjusting over the phone. They also made it right when we returned the skis. It's possible this binding issue was not epic's fault and adjusted during our travel. Either way, they handled this issue with diligence and class. Honeslty it's take it or leave it service here I accidentally got the wrong size helmet and told them I couldn't even wear it when I got to the mountain I ended up leaving it in the car for the rest of the day because it didn't fit with all my gear. I asked if I could exchange it because I didn't even wear it I put it on with everything else and it didn't fit. I understand I should have just brought my gear in with me but I unfortunately didn't. 300 dollars down the drain. Denver Colorado does not have a mask mandate. Yet you cannot shop at the store if you do not wear a mask i've had all three shots. What's the use of wearing a mask at all when I have three vaccines I will no longer be doing business with this company are usually spend two or $3000 a year for each of my kids for their ski gear. I came to try on some ski boots. The person who greeted me asked if I had an appointment. I said no, I don't. He replied that somebody would be available one or two hours later. I wanted to see their inventory, so I went where the ski boots were. I only saw one person working with the customer, and then after that, it was nobody else. I waited for 10 minutes thinking that somebody would come back and ask me for anything, but nobody did. Nobody told me that I had to make a appointment only. Or if I knew my size already and what I want to buy or if there's anything else somebody can help me with. Obviously good businessman cannot recognize the high time and went to bring more people for a boot sizing. And obviously, boot sizing is rocket science. read more

Today I had a turn-around experience! We had appointments to get skis and boots for my three kids, but the first employee must have been a new-hire because he was clueless and not helpful at all.
