The staff is very knowledgeable and does a great job helping you find the right ski or club for your needs. They have a large selection considering their smallish show room. So, three or so years later, Doug is still the best! I was paired with Doug years ago on a whim in hopes of finding a new driver; but I wasn't set on buying that day. That aside, Doug took his time, and we found a bomber of a driver. Sold. Years later, needing a new putter I made an appointment and was told to see him; not realizing it was the same guy. Good news, I quickly realized who it was, he (yet again), took his time and found me a solid putter. Serendipitous I happened to be paired with him, both times. Service is really great here without pushy sales associates and knowledgeable staff. We came in looking for golf shoes and a golf bag for the babe. Unfortunately, no golf shoes and their selection was limited. We were told they would have more merchandise and equipment at the March golf expo. There is a decent selection of ski equipment, golf cart bags and clubs to choose from here. I find they were reasonable prices from $299 for a Ping bag to $500 for a TaylorMade driver. It is a small shop with limited room for browsing but hey more excuse to canoodle up to my babe. However, it still accommodated a golf simulator bay inside the shop. I still would recommend if you are in need of ski rentals or starting your golf journey. read more

I walked in today to take a look at a Callaway fairway wood and was graciously met by Doug as soon as I walked in. He had me in a bay with the Callaway in less than five minutes and told me to hit it to see what I thought. I wasn't too happy with the Callaway and asked if I could try out the Titleist and TaylorMade woods and he said, absolutely. He let me hit both as he watched and changed shafts on both until he dialed me in with the TaylorMade; absolutely loved it. I walked in without an appointment looking to just buy the Callaway and walked out so happy with the unscheduled fitting by Doug and the TaylorMade that I told him I'd be coming back to get the 7 wood. We had a 5 star experience yesterday. My son needed new irons and made an appointment for a fitting with Doug. Doug was so knowledgeable and took the time to identify what fitted my son best. The appointment took an hour and never once did we feel rushed or pressured to purchase new irons. 0 STARS!!! The following turn of events took place over the course of about 1 year as a former loyal customer. I'm a lifelong athlete that never played a round until I came in to purchase my first set of clubs around 6/05/20 at this place via word of mouth. Needless to say, I was clueless and made the mistake of trusting this shop. John fit me, and was a rushed miserable guy, annoyed that he had to suffer through another fitting. He took a 2 second glance at my hand size on a club, and said "you're regular size". Meanwhile, I'm 6'1" and just found out yesterday after 2 years, about 75 rounds, and 300 days of practice, that they were way too small for me. I'm a MIDSIZE! I went and hit with the midsize grip and literally pured every shot, and I was wondering for 2 F'n years why I was so inconsistent (Still managed to become a 14 handicap!) My frustration has reached a limit here! BUT IT GETS WORSE! About 6 months later, I unknowingly, ignorantly went back to Lenny's and purchased a full set (everything) for my wife. Mike fit her, and I thought the set seemed a little pricey but they did give me a fair deal on my Mavriks so I didn't bother to check pricing and took Mike and Nick (Lenny's son) at their word and recommendations. $1700 and change, paid. I get back home, and google the same exact Ladies Cobra Fmax set and PGA Superstore, Golf Galaxy, and about 5 other places pop up on the screen and say $995. I immediately think, there's no way, could it be? So I called up Lenny's, asked for Mike, and he has the nerve to say that every set of cobras, (and all clubs for that matter) that PGA superstore and golf galaxy has in stock are "off spec" or "seconds" with minor manufacturers defects, Off measurements, etc. I again, ignorantly took his word for it but it has been eating at me for 1.5 years until this grip size BOTCH, I was in there MULTIPLE TIMES, still fit me with the wrong grip size!! Also, prior to purchasing my wife's set, I brought my bag of Mavriks in, and told Mike that I needed another wedge in my bag. And he sold me 50 degree wedge, when I have an A (approach) iron in my bag. I didn't know it's essentially the SAME CLUB, loft, MINOR difference. I should have never been fit with a 50 wedge when I only had a 56 in my bag. The next day I played a round with my buddy who's been playing for years, and he said, dude, you already have a 50° with that A iron. Why did you buy that? And immediately, my blood starts boiling. So I bring it back a few days later, and speak to Nick, Lenny's son, and he gave me around $90 less than what I paid for it the week before. It was STILL MINT, maybe took 10 shots with it. Then he charged me full price for a 60° and he was pissed about it acting like he did me a HUGE FAVOR. I still didn't realize the BS was going on, and came back another time and said to Nick, I need a fairway wood. At that time I only had irons and a Mavrik hybrid in my bag, and I said I'd like a mavrik wood that matches my stiff flex hybrid. He had one mavrik wood left, sitting on the shelf, and without even thinking twice, he sold me a senior flex 4 wood, when my swing has always been right around 100 mph. He never even asked me, I didn't know any better, and I walked out, $300 and change poorer. I went home and Started researching and realized, THEY just got me again. He wanted the last Mavrik off the shelf, quickly threw it at me, I never hit it, and I bit, unknowingly. Unfortunately, I didn't know how to identify the flex on it at that time, SMFH. As soon as I realized what happened I went to PGA superstore, and explained the situation, and how Lenny's is a total lie, they ripped me off over and over with BS, and provided trash recommendations. The manager at PGA was nice enough to take my senior flex 4 Wood back, and trade it for a brand new, stiff Mavrik 4 Wood. THIS PLACE SHOULD NOT HAVE 4.5 STARS! I I wanted to simply never go back, but after finding out yesterday that I've been playing the WRONG GRIP size (way too small) on EVERY SINGLE CLUB FOR 2 YEARS. After getting RIPPED OFF and taken advantage of behind my back. I have HAD ENOUGH, and this is not going to stand!! SO I decided to write this!! I'm an honest, and loyal customer, and I ran my own family business! We had 5 stars!! This is a hoax. I wouldn't dream of doing something like this! Especially several times! They even double booked me, twice, when I had called ahead and set up fitting appts. I drove 30 minutes each way only to get there, and be turned away with an OOPS, "sorry" !! Great place to rent skis or snowboards. You walk in and tell them what you want and they measure and figure out what size you need. They also have helmets and great suggestions too in regards to the boots. We rented for our 3 kids ranging from 5-15. We thought about actually buying skis and snowboards for them but since they are still growing and such this is the best option. Once you rent there they have all your info on file so if you go back again they can already have your sizes and make your rental super easy and efficient. The people that work there are extremely friendly which makes you want to go back again. Also, there prices are pretty cheap compared to other places. I was in the market for an electric push cart and so I called Lenny's. A gentleman on the phone told me they would give me something for the two electric push carts I had and to bring them in when I came to look at a new cart. When I got there, another gentleman told me he didn't want them. I did buy a new electric push cart from them because of the really nice person that helped me. I wasn't asking for much however I felt really disrespected and feel as if something should have been done primarily because I was told that it would. Great lesson for me! read more

I am brand new to Skiing. The second I walked into the store, I was greeted and helped. The process was super easy, and I felt cared for. It did not feel like they were trying to make money off of me, they spent quality time sharing details on how the ski boot should properly fit, and made sure my helmet was safe and secure. I recently went with my son and he was in one of the hitting bays hitting some golf balls cause that's what you do and he got told he wasn't supposed to do that and that he might break all of the equipment and then have to spend the rest of his life paying it off. It's been hard to find a reasonably priced place to rent nowadays(this place actually does do rentals for the day or season) so I decided to find a used board to purchase and just have it tuned. This place has been here forever and I never noticed it! I was looking around for a place to help me get a board in top shape again and found this gem. Everyone is so friendly and knowledgeable here I didn't feel out of place at all. I came in with the board I got and all they had to do was wax,edge and tune ($35 at the time) and the board was ready in a couple days. I didn't need it any sooner. I highly recommend them for any of your skiing or snowboarding needs, and if they can't help you they'll recommend someone that might be able to. read more

I have known Lenny for years and always recommend Lenny's to golfers that I play with. HERE'S WHY! My wife is now getting more into golf and was in need of a new set of clubs. I contacted Lenny to order clubs for Mother's Day. Was going to surprise my wife. But, while talking to Lenny, he said we should fit her for a new set. Great idea, but I told Lenny she has a bit of performance anxiety and might be a little nervous getting fitted in a shop filled with strangers. Lenny asked me if I could bring her in one morning before opening and we could fit her then. So, went in early, Lenny and John were there to set her up. John took the time to make my wife feel at ease and help her with a few swing tips. After a full analysis John recommended a pre-Matched set of Cobras. Saved me at least $500 over what I was going to spend on irons, hybrid's, and fairway woods! Can't get better customer service then that at any national chain, big box store. Simply the best! WHOOOHOO! If you are reading, this you have found the right Golf store! And if you seek out John Fitzgerald to fit you, I guarantee you will be thrilled! I'd been in a set of women's clubs for about 8 years and my husband encouraged me to see what and how clubs/technology had changed. After watching a few swings John dialed in on what would improved my game - my clubs were too short, I shouldn't be using women's shafts, and my swing had adapted to clubs/shafts that just were never right for me. The first day he fit me with irons, the second with a driver, hybrid and fairway wood, BUT just as important, he expertly corrected my stance/swing/follow through. He has a wonderful way of saying the same thing 10 different ways and 3-4 of them resonate. He suggested I come back after I had played 10 rounds at which point he verified the club's loft and lies were good but I had slipped back into a couple old swing habits. The minute he said it, I realized what I was doing. Had I not gone to check in with John, the habit would have continued and my back pain and frustration level would have too. Today, he called me just to check in, gave me a tip to improve distance and offered to have me come in AGAIN if I thought I still wasn't getting the results I expected. Why spend the money at the big Epic (formerly Christy Sports) Store in the back when you can get services provided faster and at lower cost at Lenny's! My buddy recommended this place last season and said they really know their stuff. I've now been here for a boot mount, safety check, and waxing services. They have been quick and straight forward. If you call them in advance, you can ask for a rush service. Though I have the equipment to wax my own at home, it is often more convenient to simply drop them up here and pick them up later in the week. read more

If you have the room - don't rent on the mountain. It is far better to rent in city. . .and the guys at Lenny's can't be beat (nice and a good price) I haven't done much here besides renting a ski. Based on the good review, I came in looking for a used driver, was told that all my existing clubs are outdated and I need to get new ones or I may develop bad habits, but could not offer more explanation other than it is a "hands on" thing and I should bring my entire bag in for a fitting. Not once did the person ask what are my goals, what clubs I have (other than they are 20+ years old), how I acquired them (they are old, but they were properly fitted Pings, not some hand-me downs), if I am taking lessons, how committed I am to the game, etc. It would be nice to just help me find what I need and instead of piling on the pressure to sell me clubs. I may not be an experience golfer, but I have consulted with my instructor and friends ahead of time. read more

I recently moved to the area and decided to get myself a new set of custom fitted clubs. I did a quick google search and Lennys popped up. They had good reviews and are local so I wanted to give it a shot. It was an amazing experience working with John. He helped me to easily get set up with the right clubs with the necessary adjustments at the right price. He even helped me to make some immediate adjustments to my approach and overall swing that were not only helpful, but just got me excited to dive back into an otherwise difficult sport. I feel it best to start by telling you that I have lived in Colorado my entire life and have always rented my equipment when I go skiing. This most recent trio, about two weeks ago, I had some trouble finding any shops last minute that had my size and didn't REQUIRE an appointment like many other rental places do. I was extremely fortunate to find Lenny's. A quick phone conversation with Mike (I believe), who was extremely courteous and helpful, and I was set. $36 for a day! They also offer a rental season pass that allows you to call ahead and pick up the equipment previously rented, just call ahead, pick up, and go. But the best part about doing business here is who you're doing business with. Lenny is one of the last true CUSTOMER FOCUSED operators I've found. Allow me to elaborate: Someone walked off with my skis by mistake while we were changing our shoes. My Fiancé and I are saving for our wedding and we looked up the make/model of skis and expected to pay the $699 full price for replacement (pretty common policy). We spoke with Lenny on the phone and explained our situation. We offered to work it off if possible or if there was something else he could do... long story short, he did some digging, gave us a discount and when when we were fortunate enough to find the skis, HE GAVE IS A FULL REFUND! Everyone that works at Lenny's (that I've talked to) has been extremely friendly and helpful. The prices are great, and there were no complications or unpleasantness. We will be doing business with Lenny fort he foreseeable future, thank you again Lenny, I hope this review helps guide others looking for a better way to rent/buy equipment for winter sports or golf. read more
