I was really looking forward to getting fitted by Gott Golf and just got the opportunity (birthday present). So, I loaded up my 24-year old clubs and met with Chuck. When I started telling him my background, his first question was "what's your budget." I told him the number I was thinking and he immediately told me that it was not enough money. I was under the impression that a golf fitting could be really beneficial and that even if I didn't buy the clubs from Gott, I could use the insights to buy them at my own pace or in a more economical fashion. Chuck said that they only focus on what they have in their inventory and nothing else. So, there were NO INSIGHTS I could gleam from his expertise, unless I dropped a massive amount of money with Gott. Now, keep in mind, a full bag fitting at Gott Golf is $350 for around 2.5 hours. The vibe I got from Chuck was that I was asking him to work for free or something. Whether or not he meant it to come off that way, he was actively trying to convince me not to do the fitting. I honestly can't remember the last time I felt so disrespected. Don't get me wrong, I understand the business model. But, when you seek out a "professional" or "expert" in any given field, you want the experience to be enjoyable, informational, helpful... Not sure if I was being judged based on my old, beat up clubs or what... But, there was no friendly, meaningful or human conversation upon my arrival. Just "what's your budget?" Unless you want to spend $5,000 on Golf Clubs, Gott Golf does not want your business. In fact, it seems like they don't even want to be helpful for $350 over 2.5 hours... That's $140 an hour. They must be making bank off these custom golf club fittings if $140/hour is so insignificant to them. How would I describe the experience? Out of touch. Snooty. Deflating. read more

Highly recommend if you're looking for new clubs. Greg was patient enough to bring me through why he was selecting every club for me, didn't try to oversell me on more than I was ready for, and then explained again why each club had been put together as it was for my current level of play. I can't say enough good things about Gott Golf. I originally went to GolfTec and they had mis-fit me for the shafts in my irons and woods. They were all too weak and too light. I heard about Gott Golf from a friend and scheduled a shaft fitting and it was great. I worked with Greg and he was able to me set up with new shafts in my woods and adjust the loft/lie in my irons. I'm hitting my clubs great now. I'm so happy with the experience that whenever anybody mentions they want to get fit for or buy new clubs I recommend Gott Golf. Even if you recently bought new clubs, I recommend at least taking them to Gott to check the loft and lie. Greg had me hit each iron in my set and set the lie specifically to each iron and my wedges. He also checked the lofts on each iron and although they were new, almost each one was 1-2* weak or strong then they should have been from the factory. Another one of the major reasons I'd recommend Gott over other fitters is that you aren't hitting into a net when fitted, you are hitting in a bay onto the range. This is helpful because you can see for yourself the dispersion in your shots and build confidence with the selections you are making. read more

I had two of my players fitted by Brian over the past couple of weeks. I have done fittings myself in Carlsbad at the major OEM's and Brian's fittings are as good or better than any fitting I have had done there, PLUS he has most of the major brands which allows you to compare those brands as opposed to having just one brand to fit. Brian listens to you and does a great job of matching the data to the feedback you provide during the fitting. As the end of the golf season approaches, i wanted to get professionally fit so that i have drills, confidence and a positive attitude that i could work on during the winter months. For my birthday, i signed up for a putter fitting and iron shaft fitting. I didn't know anything about GOTT GOLF, but was happy to see that you hit balls indoors to outdoors, so you could see the REAL ball flight. Doug listened to my concerns and flaws, put me on the shaft optimizer and decided on several shafts. I did not look at the specs of the shafts, but waited to see what felt best. Once we decided on the proper shaft for what i wanted, i was fitted for a heavier shaft than what i expected, but didnt mind since it felt good. Doug put together the shafts, grips and made sure that the tolerances were excellent. I am thoroughly happy with my experience at GOTT GOLF and will continue to use them going forward. Did a full bag fitting with Greg and could not be happier. Greg really looks at your swing and then backs up recommendations with the data. They do not push one brand over another but rather what's best for your game. I also did a putter fitting and had a putting lesson. My putting has improved greatly. Switched from a blade to a mallet and the face balance is much better with my stroke. I'm doing the drills that Greg taught me and my accuracy and distance are amazing now. Greg is so nice to work with and the facility is awesome as you hit out of a bay and can see full ball flight instead of into a projection screen. They also set your lie on all your irons when you pick them up which a friend did not get at golftec. I drive over an hour to go here as they are the best! I have several friends now doing the same. Prices are better than off the shelf as everything is built from scratch so there's no excuse not to go here. read more

Looks like a great facility. I set up a putter fitting and in the appointment filled out specific information on what i was coming for.... to get fit for an armlock putter... ... I flew there from SD and paid $40 for a lyft to get there from downtown. When I got there they informed me they have no arm lock putters. They need to read the appointment, esp. the 250.00 fittings before you go there.. Very disappointed! Telling me that before i flew out and paid for a lyft to get there would have been helpful... read more

Brian Gott is the man, period. I had a bad experience getting fit for clubs. Having never actually bought new clubs myself, I put a lot of research into them and wanted them to be just right. A simulator in a large department store doesn't show ball flight. Brian gives you the opportunity to hit on a range as well as have a high class simulator to help you get fit. He fit me with the best shaft I could have bought for the irons I wanted. Including two bad practice rounds in the 80s with the new irons, my handicap has dropped from an 8 to a 5 in only 17 rounds since buying them. I have been fit for clubs before but this fitting was by far the best and most complete fitting I have ever had. They had all the top club lines to choose from like Callaway, Titleist and Taylor Made. I did both irons and driver fitting and when we were done I said " I am usually a standard length and 2 degrees flat" The told me that when I come in to pick up the clubs they will adjust all the lie angles for me on all the clubs in the set. I checked out the PGA's top club fitters in the Denver area and Brian was at the top of the list. I had him fit me for a driver and irons. It was an amazing experience. It makes all the difference to hit onto a real driving range. He showed me the major differences in ball flight and led me to the shafts and heads that would perform best for my 65-year-old swing. Actually, I couldn't believe how much his selections improved my confidence at address. It really matters that you have a pro with all of the best equipment to fine tune the choices.
