The round was moving at an unbelievably slow pace, with groups stacked on every tee box and waits on nearly every shot. What made the experience worse was the complete lack of logical management from the marshal and head pro. Instead of actually addressing the bottleneck or helping improve flow, they spent more time trying to justify why a 5+ hour pace was somehow "normal." At one point, despite multiple open holes ahead and obvious spacing issues, I was told I couldn't play through because it would "mess up the order." That explanation made absolutely no sense considering the course was already severely backed up and groups were sitting idle on tee boxes anyway. Rather than using common sense and customer service, the staff seemed more focused on defending the dysfunction than fixing it. Golf is supposed to be enjoyable, but spending most of the day waiting while being lectured about pace-of-play policies that clearly were not working was incredibly frustrating. A marshal's job is to keep play moving, not explain away slow golf while doing nothing to improve it. The course itself has potential, but the on-course management completely ruined the experience. Until they learn how to manage pace of play with logic and flexibility instead of excuses, I would think twice before coming back.

Loved #2, a snake-like par 5 with a big tree and center line bunker guarding the approach. 9 is another great par 5 that asks you a risk/reward question off the tee especially. 10 is a great par 4 that's hard to see how open it is off the tee. 12 is a big par 5 up the hill and around a pond. 13's par 3 pin was tucked on the right side. Really cool hole over water. 16 is the one hole I played well but would be tough to manage at times. Gets narrow off the tee then a group of trees guards 50% of the green. Some of the trees are in the middle of the fairway. I don't mind the design, but the trees need to be trimmed a bit in my opinion. 18 is a strong finishing par 5 around a marsh. Great conditions when we played. Not the fastest greens, but I was told to play it right around the Colorado Open they host each year. I saw several hidden tee boxes they probably use for a tournament that big. Only downside to the course was the houses on pretty much every hole. The Trackman driving range was a nice bonus. Nice extra practice area for members too. Definitely on the short list of Denver golf courses when I come back!

Not as advertised. Not suitable for beginners. Awfully expensive. A bit disorganized…read more I received a lesson/fitting package as a gift. The gift giver was assured that the experience would be suitable for a beginner. Nope! Much of the lesson involved golf swing jargon that just isn't going to be understood by a beginner. Hey, if you know the difference between an open and closed shoulder in your backswing, or the difference between a strong and weak grip (hint: now I know it's nothing to do with how hard you grab the club), then you aren't a beginner, and GolfTec might work for you. Anyway, I stood open mouthed as my coach spewed utter jibberish at me. I stopped him early, and let him know I didn't understand the lingo. Didn't really help. Despite their claims, they really don't have a curriculum for beginners. Beginners need a bunch of instruction in set up and swing fundamentals that really don't benefit from GolfTec's (admittedly cool) elaborate video and computer swing tracking technology. Hey, I get that an advanced golfer, who swings consistently, might love the video breakdown looking for swing faults. A beginner is going to have enough self evident swing faults that this technology is overkill. It's like using a sledgehammer to push in a tack. And GolfTec is expensive. Anyone getting lessons on a weekly basis is definitely going to be paying GolfTec the equivalent of a car payment. Hey, I'm not saying it's not worth it. It's just that for beginners, there are cheaper and more efficient ways to learn the fundamentals. My friends who have had success with GolfTec are both far from beginner level, and are pretty indifferent to cost. If that describes you, great! You might love GolfTec. Me, not so much. Not as advertised.

The staff are amazing, and go out of their way to ensure that everything is explained and you are set up to have a good time. It was very busy the night we went, but that wasn't an issue since you reserve your space ahead of time. We did both axe throwing and a bay rental for an hour. Renting a golf bay is incredibly cost effective since the cost does not change based on how many people you have (you can have up to 8). And even though I called it a golf bay there are TONS of options to play. The food and drinks (which you can order through a QR code) are also great. We had some wings and they were delicious. TL:DR - an awesome option for a night out with built in activities
