Great new place to hang in HDL. With drinks and food from Bacon Social next door. It's a winner all around.

They have an amazing happy hour and a good drink program which specializes in classic cocktails, wine and beer. Every drink reaches a gold standard for the industry. Sunday's is customer appreciation and you get first drink free! Ambience: this place is amazingly clean and comfortable. Plenty of cushy chairs and couches, dimly lit and even though they have TVs, the focus is on a chill playlist and not a blaring sports bar atmosphere. My kinda place! Hospitality: This place shines with their hospitality. Their staff is kind and accommodating- shout out to Arvind the best of the staff! We have come many times with groups and they are usually willing to comp us a drink here and there as a gesture of kindness to the group coming in. You will always be treated well here, is my experience. I will always recommend this place for a chill time and high quality of service!

Yelp's weekly suggestions are some spot-on and timely. Had it not been for one of them I recently…read morereceived, I don't think I would discover this hidden bar. Its overall chicness in a spacious lounge-style room immediately cooled me down once I arrived (on the day I visited after work, the temperature outside was soaring in upper 80's.) The time was around 4:45pm. If I am not mistaken, their happy hour is 3-5pm. I thought I was in the middle of the HH rush but there were still plenty of seatings available and yet the place was nowhere near empty. And yet, I found just the right spot so I would be away from all the chatters emitting from the people mainly sat at the bar. The selections for wine (red and white) as well as the tap beers are quite the variety. During the HH time, the drinks are only $5 for beer on tap, well mules, wells spirits and any wine on tap. For a chic/elegant/upscale place such as this place, this pricing offer is extremely generous. I simply couldn't think of anything other than refreshing cold white wine so after getting a little suggestion from my wonderful waiter, I went with the Angeline Sauvignon Blanc (the regular price is $12 so I saved $7.) As much as I am a wine person, I don't go by the rigid rules. White win should generally be served between 45°F and 55°F (7°C to 13°C) and yet at home I chill my (white) wine in the freezer for a bit so it will be super cold. This is a must for me. And to my surprise, when they served me the Sauvignon Blanc it was pretty close to the super chill temperature I am used to. As if they read my mind, I was quite surprised and happy with the cold crisp white wine. It was a quick stop to have a little "after work" cocktail on the way home so I didn't get any food and yet that crisp chilled white wine I was served instantaneously made me a big fan of this cocktail lounge. When I asked my waiter when the place opened. He said it opened in 2019. I simply couldn't believe it. If it's been around for this long but the fact that I recently heard about it stunned me. And if I am not mistaken, the waiter said that another location is about to open in a different area in the Denver metro. It's nice to know that this business is thriving. Good for them.

They had $15/hr for unlimited play as of this writing and our party of four certainly got our money's worth. It wasn't crowded at all on a Monday at 1pm (unsurprisingly) and we kind of took over the place. An older gentleman was working the whole place, and he made some surprisingly good cocktails for what is basically an arcade. It's not huge, but a decent size, with two floors. A few machines on the first floor was off limits for unlimited play, but everything else was fair game. Our favorites were the South Park (natch) and Iron Maiden machines, along with an oddball non-pinball machine called Ice Cold Beer which was simple but quite challenging. A great place for flippin' and sippin', as their sign says.

We made a reservation and were seated promptly at a large outdoor table offering both sunny and shaded spots. The setting is lovely, a nicely restored historic building with a Victorian vibe in downtown Littleton. We ordered: * Roasted Brussels Sprouts ($10) - sopressata, shaved parmesan, oregano-infused white balsamic * Chicken Salad Sandwich ($17) - toasted whole wheat, grilled chicken, dried cranberries, tomato, apple, walnut * Short Rib Grilled Cheese ($20) - beef short rib, white cheddar, tomato, horseradish sauce, arugula, caramelized onion, sourdough * (2) Black Forbidden Rice Salmon Bowls ($25) - cabbage slaw, cilantro, avocado, pickled red onion, cilantro vinaigrette Plus three cocktails: two Bees Knees and one Manhattan. Service was excellent and the food was very well executed. The shared Brussels sprouts were a hit. The salmon bowls were flavorful and nicely prepared, as was the chicken salad sandwich. The fries were hot, crispy, and tasty. However, the standout was the Short Rib Grilled Cheese. Absolutely fantastic, and definitely what I'll be ordering next time. We ended up ordering a bunch of different items that would match all the different tastes we all had. Our server recommended 3 meat orders for the 6 of us, as well as 7-8 sides/appetizers. She was absolutely correct about portions and ordering. There was so much to choose from, but the highlights for me was the carne asada with chimichurri, Colorado lamb, twice baked mashed potatoes, shrimp ceviche, jalapeno cornbread muffins, and the seasonal vegetables. Really, everything was very good, but these were the most tasty to me. We ordered off of the happy hour menu, which runs from 5-6pm daily and does have some good deals. The majority of our order was off the dinner menu. Those in my group really liked the cocktails they ordered as well, but at times they waited 20 minutes for their drinks. Our waitress was very knowledgeable but had her hands full with many tables so we did not always get the best attention. Overall, I really liked Work & Class and would like to revisit their menu soon - as it changes pretty regularly.
