One of my favorite recreational spots in Colorado. What really sets this place apart from other axe-throwing venues is the variety. You're not just throwing axes at a piece of wood. They have multiple weapon options and interactive projector games that keep things fun and competitive, so it never feels repetitive or boring. It makes the whole experience feel more like an event than just an activity. Even though it's on the pricier side, I've been here probably 12 to 15 times and continue bringing coworkers, dates, and friends. And honestly, the biggest reason isn't just the games or the atmosphere, it's the staff. From the bartenders to the front of house team and everyone running the lanes, the staff consistently makes people feel welcome and keeps the energy fun and relaxed. They're helpful, engaging, and clearly enjoy what they do, which makes the experience better every time. There are plenty of places where you can throw an axe once and move on. This is one of the few places that actually makes you want to come back again and again. Highly recommend for date nights, group outings, or just something different to do. read more

I kinda knew that throwing axes and other tools of death at a wall was going to be fun, but we had a blast. Located in a corner of a strip mall off Arapahoe road sits double axe. You couldn't tell that they had been open for a while as their location is so clean and well kept. They do serve a limited menu as I don't believe there is an official kitchen on site; however, they do encourage bringing in your own food as there's a Domino's next door. They have staff on hand to give you a comprehensive lesson on throwing axes, knives, and my personal favorite, the Chinese star! Good beer selection and they have a long list of quality cocktails which I ordered their old fashioned which was worth every penny. read more

I had the best time here while visiting from out of town. It is such a cool set up and has a full bar in the back with Puck the bartender who made the most delicious smoked old fashioned I've ever had. The team there then helped me learn how to throw as I was a first timer and got me hitting the target consistently. It's perfect for team building, date night or just a way to catch up with friends. I was really skeptical when my friend suggested axe throwing. I expected some run down hick place. We got there and it immediately reversed my skepticism. This place was amazing! Best way to describe it is it's the Top Golf of Axe Throwing. Computerized target systems that allow you to play different types of games. Every single staff member we interacted with was so welcoming. All about safety. We will be back! PS - As for review by Anna P. you should feel really ashamed for leaving such a review. So much fun!! As first timers, we weren't sure what to expect, but we all walked away looking forward to going back again... or maybe even joining a league! Ethan and Tom were great with the instruction and coaching (BIG on safety), and the different interactive targets and games made a wish we had more time. Even if you don't want to throw a blade, an Old Fashioned from Puck behind the bar is worth a visit. This is the best axe throwing place I've been to. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The facility is great and the bar is amazing. No joke, they made us one of the best old fashioned I've ever had. And they had more than just axes to throw, they also had knives, ninja stars and the double edged axe. This place is great! So nice and clean. Great space for parties and events! The service was great! We took our 11 year old here for her birthday party. Everyone had a great time! There are a variety of axe games to play which are fun for all and they have a variety of "axe's" to throw which were fantastic.
