The best part is that it's not just axe throwing. They also have duckpin bowling, drinks, and surprisingly good food. Like genuinely good. Not "well, we're here already so let's order fries" good. Also appreciated that they let you throw other things besides axes because the second they handed me ninja stars and poker cards, my confidence skyrocketed for absolutely no reason. The duckpin bowling was also a blast. Smaller balls, quicker games, a little more unhinged in the best way. Drinks were solid too. They do infused tequilas and the cocktail menu actually feels thought out instead of being an afterthought. Overall it just feels like an easy place to spend a few hours without realizing it. Would be great for groups, date nights, birthdays, or just doing something different for once.

My entire family enjoyed throwing axes, plus other items like ninja stars, metal playing cards, and metal battle axes. We were able to select different games, including zombie heads (fun fun!). The staff gave many tips on how to throw the various axes as they walked by, which was greatly appreciated for our youngest son. I will definitely go back to this location and try my hand at axe throwing again. There is also a rage room on site (just book ahead of time). It looks fun, but was a little pricey.

One of my favorite recreational spots in Colorado…read more What really sets this place apart from other axe-throwing venues is the variety. You're not just throwing axes at a piece of wood. They have multiple weapon options and interactive projector games that keep things fun and competitive, so it never feels repetitive or boring. It makes the whole experience feel more like an event than just an activity. Even though it's on the pricier side, I've been here probably 12 to 15 times and continue bringing coworkers, dates, and friends. And honestly, the biggest reason isn't just the games or the atmosphere, it's the staff. From the bartenders to the front of house team and everyone running the lanes, the staff consistently makes people feel welcome and keeps the energy fun and relaxed. They're helpful, engaging, and clearly enjoy what they do, which makes the experience better every time. There are plenty of places where you can throw an axe once and move on. This is one of the few places that actually makes you want to come back again and again. Highly recommend for date nights, group outings, or just something different to do.

You couldn't tell that they had been open for a while as their location is so clean and well kept. They do serve a limited menu as I don't believe there is an official kitchen on site; however, they do encourage bringing in your own food as there's a Domino's next door. They have staff on hand to give you a comprehensive lesson on throwing axes, knives, and my personal favorite, the Chinese star! Good beer selection and they have a long list of quality cocktails which I ordered their old fashioned which was worth every penny.

The smash room was a total hit, and the kids laughed and raged for a solid 35 minutes before throwing some axes. (Then Luke brought in some more crates for us parents to have our own smash party. AMAZING.) Luke and Tina, the owners, are so chill, happy, obviously love what they do and you can tell they just want everyone to walk out of there having a wonderful experience. We never felt rushed. The main room is clean, bright and airy, with arcade games that we could play while taking breaks. They let us bring in pizza, drinks and cake to celebrate. Great energy, great venue. I can't wait to go back with my girlfriends or even just my two teen boys and my husband for a family night. It was so easy going, so fun. It was everything we didn't know we needed- especially for family with older kids looking for something fun to do with them. OH... AND they sell work by local artists and beers from local breweries because they want to support small local businesses. I mean, come on. What more could you ask for? Thank you Luke and Tina! You have created a welcoming, special place for the community. We will absolutely be back, and will tell all our friends about your place!

We absolutely loved staying here. It's very homey and genuine. A private bathroom in the room and a small kitchenette. We asked about the rooms when we got there. The site was confusing. We thought it was a shared bathroom for everyone. That's not the case. Most rooms have their own bathroom. The staff is very personable and helpful for local tips. The breakfast was very good. They cook a hot breakfast to order. Our first morning there, we had a hiccup and I think we were forgotten about after we ordered food. We waited an hour and finally left. We were so late getting on the mountain. We didn't get our first run til 11. Other than that one issue, everything has been great and the breakfast the following two mornings came out within mins. I think it was an honest mistake but we all just brushed it off. Thank you, Claire for your hospitality. You made our home away from home very comfortable. I had to write a review. This was so worth it. I looked at the reviews before we came to see how the beds are. The mattress is comfortable in the room we had. I didn't wake up feeling like I was hit by a bus. They have an entire dvd collection that we put to good use. The town is very cute and great food locally. There is a bus that will shuttle you to copper and breck. The hot tub fits about 6 in there. Very nice to have after a day of boarding. Thank you Frisco Lodge. We will definitely be bs

Our room had a shared bath with 4 other rooms. But we never ran into a problem. There were 2 bathrooms for 8 rooms upstairs. A few also had their own en suite. The room was well appointed, the hosts were delightful and full of recommendations for the village. The courtyard is adorable but it was a bit too chilly to spend much time there. Walking distance to everything in the village. And breakfast was SO good. They went out of their way to offer vegan and gluten free options which was so kind. Even had handmade lattes and barista drinks by request. All included!
