1-star review…read more Unfortunately, my experience living here has been very unpleasant. There have been repeated disturbances coming from Building 1 involving loud yelling and what sounds like children being physically disciplined. Hearing children crying and adults shouting is extremely disturbing and has made it difficult to feel comfortable and relaxed in my own apartment. I understand that apartment living comes with some normal noise, but what I have heard goes far beyond ordinary neighbor noise. Management should take complaints about excessive noise and potential child safety concerns seriously and investigate them appropriately. I would strongly encourage prospective residents to visit the property at different times of day and speak with current residents before signing a lease.

We were in town to visit the DU campus, and I was thinking about hitting a round of golf. After…read moresome digging, I found Harvard Gulch. I hadn't played a pitch and putt in a long, long time, and with barely any equipment required to play, this was definitely worth a visit. Only $1 per club rental, we each chose 1 club and 1 putter. Lots to choose from, so it took us some time to choose carefully. The 1 club + putter challenge we had made for a real fun round of golf, added a layer of thinking to a fun round. The golf was great. Super casual. We came mid day on a weekday, so it was not busy. We were allowed to bring some beverages (went to nearby Denver Brew Co), and had a lot of fun. Greens are surprisingly fast, especially downhill. Bunkers had legit sand, and there is even the threat of water. We bought a 6 pack of balls in the pro shop cuz they were only $5 (only needed one each), and bought a divot repair tool ($1) because we were planning on raining golf balls on all the greens. Lol. We had so much fun, we played a second 9. Joined up this time with a third, and he was a super fun hang. Good golfer too. All tee shots are off mats, which is expected. Wasn't a problem for us. It wasn't super busy, but pitch and putt is going to attract all manner of skill levels. We had a lot of time to kill, so we were prepared to wait and chill at each hole (back in the day I'd go to places where we could be 10-15 people deep at each tee box), but it moved fast today. That said, when we were leaving, we saw a group of 4 and 5, and most looked like beginners. I have another day in Denver, we may try and play another round. If not during this trip, then for sure the next time I come. Great fun!

Over the weekend we indulged in this exact day, starting with lunch at Breckenridge Brewery, Ale & Game House on the golf course, and finishing with 9 holes. We arrived at The Club at Inverness and headed outside to Breckenridge Brewery's beer garden. The lovely views included manicured greens, fountains, and a pond. It was the perfect setting to unwind and enjoy a delicious meal. The menu boasted an array of options, from classic pub fare to local beers. The Palisade Peach Wheat was made with peaches from Palisade Colorado - it was a fruit-forward unfiltered American-style wheat ale bursting with bright and juicy peach flavor. The Juice Drop IPA had a distinct coconut-like characteristic. There were tropical hop layers without bitterness due to the experimental hop known as HBC 472. The Pub Burger was made with American cheese, shredded lettuce, pickle tomato, onion, house sauce, & a side of coleslaw. The burger was great & had a nice juicy patty. The Reuben was made with sliced pastrami, rye bread, Dijon, sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, & thousand island dressing. The pastrami delivered a smoky & spicy flavor with a slightly sweet undertone. The sandwich had a satisfyingly crunchy texture from the rye bread and sauerkraut. Following our lunch, we walked over to The Club to golf. Tee times are open to hotel guests and members only. The Club offers social memberships for Colorado residents, which include several perks such as food and beverage discounts, pro shop deals, guest passes, and more. The Golf Marshalls Don & Smokey were wonderful and made sure we were comfortable with the course and had everything we needed to play. Designed by legendary architect J. Press Maxwell, Inverness Golf Course is a true gem. The course is a strategic thinker's paradise, with subtle slopes, rolling fairways, and menacing bunkers that demand careful shot placement. Even on a very hot day in August, the challenge was irresistible, and we had a great time. As guests at Inverness, we got a taste of the lifestyle offered to members!

A couple of restaurants, a couple bars and a huge dining room. Breckenridge brewery is now in the downstairs area, if I have to write a review for that one, I'd just give them a 3 to 4. It is so loud! I know they're restocking and trying to get everything ready but they make mostly IPA's, I detest. I do you like a lighter beer. Both times I've ordered like appears they were out, so what does that tell you, maybe they need to brew some more beers that people would like? Well back to the location itself. The golf course is immaculate, the people that work there are great, instructors are informative. It would be a great place for an event, especially a wedding. I WOULD recommend this place especially if you want to go golf or even have a staycation.

Some work…read morefor awhile, some not at all, but we all have a bunch of them laying around in a closet somewhere. All of them have a different lie angle, loft angle and length. That is why they all perform differently when they are in our hands. The YES putter has a difference. The varietys of putter is endless, they must have 25 different styles, surely enough to suit all tastes. When you buy a YES putter, no matter where you buy it or when you bought it, you can take it to the YES fitting center. There one of the capable workers will fit the putter to YOU. First, they will check the length of the putter. Next the lie of the putter to assure that it is flat on the ground. No more hitting the ground with the heal or the toe. Then comes the really neat part. With a special camer/computer program they analyize how you hit your putts. A ball (one half side painted black) is placed before a grid, there is a camera across from the grid. You hit a putt and the path of the ball is recorded. Upon playback you are able to see when the ball starts rolling forward, if it stops and skips, etc. If the ball does not start rolling and stay rolling, the club is adjusted. Following the proper adjustments, you can see that the ball when struck starts a smooth, steady and continual roll. Pretty damn neat, and it cost NOTHING. The staff at YES! could not be nicer, friendlier or more professional. Another one of the delights of golf.
