She pedaled just a few feet when an associate by the name of "Eric Jensen" abruptly approached us and told us that customers aren't allowed to ride inside the store. While I completely understand and respect that policy, the way he addressed us felt unnecessarily harsh and startled my daughter. A kinder, more understanding approach would have gone a long way -- especially when speaking to parents and children. We left feeling discouraged by the interaction, which was unfortunate since we were genuinely excited about finding her first bike.
