Stumbled upon this rad little coffee shop. Love love love!!! Oatmilk Latte was great. Strawberry croissant was warm and perfectly sweet. Such welcoming, kind staff. Surprise highlight was the gift shop attached. So many little trinkets and funky art pieces. I'd definitely work here or just hang and be cozy. Go!

This place is seriously cute!! I love the different rooms and the variety of couches, chairs, and tables. The music was set at a nice volume- you can have a conversation, making it a good place for a meeting or catching up with a friend. Or you could study or work solo without being distracted. I had a chai and it was quite tasty and perfectly spicy. I'll definitely be back- what a great (and necessary) addition to the neighborhood!

Had a great experience coming here. The lady helping me was super nice and helpful! I really enjoyed the ambiance. Great spot to sit and read or work with a cup of coffee. I had a cafe au lait and a scone. Both great. Coffee had just the right balance of steamed milk and coffee. Scone was wonderful and most importantly, not dry! :) will come back! Cool decor too!

If you're coming here it's for the ambiance. It has great artwork and enough seating/parking. I'm surprised there's great reviews for the coffee. The drip was very watered down and the mocha tasted more chocolate than espresso. You can tell the coffee is watered down in my photo. I love coffee and didn't get the best impression from this location. So I am disappointed.

A sweet little coffee (plant and gift shop too!). Be prepared to be welcomed by warm energy when you enter. Plants hug the air and coffee aromas will fill your lungs. Several food options (get there early if you want that delicious breakfast burrito). There are numerous spots to plop with a book or your computer. Pretty sure I could camp out here and work everyday for the rest of my life and drink all the delicious coffee and eat way too many breakfast burritos.

Chocolate Croissant. Mmmmm

I ventured here just looking for a place to relax while I waited on an appointment. This spot came up in the area and I decided to try it out. I was NOT disappointed! Super comfy local artist type vide. Tons of cool comfy spots to relax and enjoy your treat. Lots of local artwork on the walls and live plants adorn the space. The coffee is top shelf for sure. I had the mocha which was a perfect balance of Java and Chocolate. Not super sweet just luxurious and velvety. Pastries are fresh and flaky ( I had a chocolate croissant). I suggest order two. You're gonna want more than one for sure. The people. Let me tell you. The staff is so kind and welcoming. The greeted me immediately when I came in and we're happy to let me browse and explore while I made a decision. I will be back. You should try this place too dear reader!

This coffee shop slaps!!!! Food: 50/50 Customer service: 25/25 Ambience: 25/25 Bomb food choices, amazing coffee and a lot of art to look at / buy. I really love the open floor plan of the shop and how they serve the art community. Great find, if you're in Lakewood you got to stop by!

Nice low key coffee shop I stumbled on while waiting for an oil change. I brought my work laptop and hung out here most the day. Great spot to work from home with lots of space for large groups.

What a lovely coffee house! The pics I took speak for their self but just in case, let me tell you the decor is interesting to look at as you sip coffee and have a nice bite. The decor seems to be part Indian and part Kenyan with beaded items and cloth totes for purchase. This morning I had a mushroom and spinach quiche, a small chorizo burrito with salsa and a lovely Latte. The quiche had a nice soft crust underneath and the flavor of the ingredients was mild and not overpowering. The burrito was a nice change of flavor pace without being to spicy and had a bit of mild Indian flavor (not an overpowering curry). My Latte was delightful and I am going back to pick my daughter up and bring her here because I love the atmosphere, food and coffee so much this morning.

Be aware though, it is not one of those manufactured dive bars seeking to draw in the youngsters looking for a prefab thrill - the Rose is very much for people who want to escape the craptastic churched-up over-priced swill joints and enjoy the company of hard working blue collar/no collar men and women who are not interested in anything but chillin' like villains. There is plenty of parking in the back, and a large, comfortable smoking patio. Noticed a few signs posted inside advertising a potluck Thanksgiving feast this Thursday so if you have no place else to go maybe you can stop in with a side dish to share (or at least a veggie tray). Don't be a dick though, as it appears bad behaviour will definitely not tolerated. Pro tip: This is a local watering hole, everybody apparently does know everybody, which might imply some familial serving priority by the staff. That is not the case though, as they proved to be friendly to new faces and if you courteously ask the barkeeps for their names and offer yours, chances of exceptional service increase.

With lots of folks thinking the same thing, we slipped in and grabbed a buzzer to keep us company for the 15 minute wait. Just a short 10 minutes later, we sat down at a four top and soon had four massive mason jars of water sliding across the table to us. I had been eying their Cucumber and Fire cocktail while waiting and it didn't disappoint. The refreshing cucumber balanced the jalapeño really well. Yum. The parents split a fabulous looking French Dip and rated it well (4 outta 5 stars). Their massive fans and we're looking for a bit more flavor in the horseradish dip for a perfect score. Not bad. Me? I ordered the Melted Monk sandwich with tomato bisque. I nixed the kettle chips. Absolute fan of the bisque. I could have had a gallon of it - really flavorful with great mouth feel. So good. I wasn't a fan of the Melted Monk sandwich, but also wasn't sure how the green apple slices would pair with the caramelized onions and raclette cheese, on cranberry walnut bread. Sounded interesting. Not bad, but wouldn't order it again. That aside, I'm still a fan. Teller's has always been a great choice and I'll return to some of my favorites next time. Never hurts to try something new! My guy raved about his Ahi Burger, and man, it was so much food. His tots were so good! I'm likely ordering this next time. Also - I almost forgot! The oysters were amazing - under fresh, if you can believe it. Teller's gets 6 deliveries a week of seafood. It totally shows. Yum.

The bartender was kind and even gave us some tokens another guest had left behind! Games aren't cheap - about $1 per person per play - but I suppose that's what they run these days.
