Friendly service, lovely patio space and excellent coffee! The breve latte and iced pistachio lattes were both a hit! Lots of seating! We also tried the tiramisu croissant knot! It was AMAZING! Wish I had Blue Nest in our hometown! Will come back when in the area!
So cute! Tucked away in a discreet plaza, came on a Sunday around noon, plenty of available tables but still good number of people enjoying their morning. I tried the seasonal drink (the last one on the list, can't remember the name) the way it comes and it was yummy. They were out of most of the bagels, and they said they couldn't put the sausage egg sandwich on a bagel anyway (i think it comes premade), so i just tried the sandwich which was like a little English muffin, it was decent, gooey enough. Wish they had more food/pastry options! Nice way to spend one of the last warmer weekends
Cute little café in Applewood, it gets pretty busy. There's seating but it's louder than most small cafés. They do have a cute little front patio with a nice view of the mountains peaking through. I got their drip with cream, it was a light roast this wasn't my favorite and will try a cappuccino next time. I also got the breakfast burrito, it was good but the pastries looked much better! The staff was friendly and it seems like a good place for people in high school to work.

I like Blue Nest Coffee. We've been a few times already, and it's a cozy little spot to catch up with friends or get some work done. On our most recent Sunday visit, the line was out the door! They had some delicious-looking gluten-free options, including a tea cake and almond bread, but unfortunately, they were sitting out with the other bakery items, so not safe for anyone who truly needs to avoid gluten (I hope they address this!). We ended up ordering some of the pre-wrapped gluten-free breads instead, including a banana walnut bread. Friendly baristas, fast service once ordered, and all our drinks were pretty good.
Stopped in on a Tuesday afternoon before a therapy appointment and wish I could have stayed longer! Really nice vibe - cozy elements, unique quirky art, and plenty of spots where one can get work done. Decent amount of seating outdoors, too. Since I came in the afternoon they didn't have a ton of pastries left, but all looked yummy and came from a local bakery. I went for a jalapeno cheddar bagel with cream cheese; the texture on both were spot on, but the flavor was more akin to a plain bagel, which was a bummer. For my caffeinated bevvie, I went with a seasonal special, "Cheyenne Mocha" because I'm a sucker for huckleberry. It came out quickly in a cute cup with some dried flowers and plenty of ice -- winner for sure. Staff was friendly as well. Overall, a solid spot in an unassuming location - will definitely make a point of coming back! Especially in the evening hours or to take advantage of their happy hour.
I tried blue nest coffee this morning for a coffee treat and was pleasantly surprised! I ordered a latte with housemade brown sugar syrup and it was freaking delicious! They offer non-dairy milk for $1 extra. They have a seasonal coffee menu, but the winter drinks were all holiday drinks and since it's February I'm not in the mood for peppermint anymore. They were also out of some syrups. Their instagram updates regularly with the seasonal selections and I am definitely waaaay more into some of the other seasonal offerings. If I am out this way again, I'd definitely stop by another time for a treat. The interior is small and was very crowded and loud when I arrived at 10 on a Monday, FYI. This place is kid friendly and there were a few families here. If it were warmer, I would've stayed and enjoyed my drink on the patio. In addition to coffee, they have tea and hot coca. They also serve bonfire burritos and a few sandwiches and pastries. They had vegetarian sandwiches in the case.
Cute spot, cute patio! Great menu and some food. Had a little line when I got there so they're doing something right!

We had brunch here on Sunday, and it was truly the highlight of our weekend! The ambiance is absolutely beautiful, with so many gorgeous little touches throughout the restaurant. The staff was incredibly kind and had great recommendations since the menu has so many options. We brought our three picky little kids, and there were little buckets of Legos for them to play with, which was such a thoughtful touch. The kids loved all the items we tried on the extensive kids menu, especially the homemade GoGurt and hummus! We can't wait to save room for the Dunkaroos next time! My husband and I shared the espresso martini flight, and they were hands-down the best espresso martinis we've ever had. Nothing else even comes close! The food was incredible from beginning to end, and it's honestly hard to pick a favorite. The breakfast sandwich reminded my husband of New York, and the Shakshouka Skillet was an absolute dream. The roasted carrot hummus was exceptional - I've never had anything like it! There really is something for everyone here. Of course, we ordered way too much food, and the leftovers made a delicious dinner the following night! It felt like a we got to have a special date while our kids were happy, entertained, and well-fed. Highly recommend! We can't wait to come back soon and bring friends! read more

Delicious food and charming ambience. The flavors were fantastic!! The stuffed dates were large and plump, za'atar pickled carrots w labneh were the perfect balance of pickle and spice, lamb kafta w date jam was my favorite and my friend loved the falafel. Great place for drinks and a bite. read more
First time trying this place out. Walked into the restaurant side and sat at an open high top. The place was packed (at 2:15 on a Wednesday!) Very loud - however, once the loud table next to me left, it was much better. Ordered a mimosa with coconut/lime. Way too tart (my bad). Ordered the lamb schawarma. I've never had schawarma. I'm a fan! It was absolutely amazing (I thought I would take half home, but finished all of it). Couldn't finish the mimosa. The shawarma came with a little side of roasted chickpeas that were also really good. You seat yourself and no one saw me, so I went to the bar and ordered. Once they knew I was there, service was amazing. After finishing, I sat at the bar and had an espresso martini (made perfectly) and enjoyed my chickpeas. Stopped by here on the way home after doing some shopping in Lakewood. The parking lot was very crowded but I managed to find a spot. Upon arrival I was greeted by the chaser who was very welcoming and kind when I told him it what my first time in. It has a cute ambiance and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. I chose to go with the MacIntyre or Macintosh Nightcap drink off what I assume is their seasonal menu. It was a great blend of whole milk, espresso, and their house made brown butter syrup. It was served piping hot and it was absolutely delicious. I also opted for a Bonfire breakfast burrito which they sell there. Being so close to Golden the burritos was super fresh and full of flavor. I hope to be back next time I am in the area. read more

Such a cozy cafe, perfect to read a good book. We had a latte and tea and was very pleased to learn the tea is loose leaf! Service is prompt and very friendly. Looking forward to returning! read more

Blue Nest is an eclectic, retro little shop that's inviting. It has a neighborhood feel and it's a place to cozy up if that's the mood. Their coffee is amazing, and the cappuccino was 10/10. They have holiday flavors too, burritos and other light bites. An added bonus is the unique art for sale, created by the owner/artist. What a gem in the Lakewood area. read more

Just received the most bizarre tasting latte ever. I ordered peppermint, but all I can taste is burnt prunes! I let two other friends try it, to make sure I wasn't going crazy. One said they tasted burnt sweet potato and the other said burnt espresso beans , with no trace of peppermint. Barista was friendly and interior is cute, just sad I wasted $6 :( read more

Such a cute little coffee shop! Perfect for meetings with lots of seating even though it was a smaller space. Their coffee was splendid and I got a lavender vanilla oat milk latte. So happy I found this gem. Quick service, great drinks, +++ read more

Very cool place. Good prices, glad I found a decent priced latte since McDonald's discontinued their lattes. I love local business so that's a plus. Staff is friendly. Clean cafe. The art is very wild and fun. Bird heads and such. I won't try to explain just go there. Lol. I'll be returning. read more
