Great venue for live music. Drinks are well made at a reasonable price. And they have great food trucks.

Great setting and music. Highly recommend. Usually a food truck outside and nice proximity to downtown golden by walking.

This place feels like the cool locals spot hidden away from main street. Great old fashioned, and the music is always surprisingly good.

Best place in town!…read more 5 stars all the way for the rose. They're quite famous for being the oldest bar in Colorado but also great people there. Kevin was my barman the few days I was here and a great dude. Nice girls too my niece might be friends. I had the wings & curds, big pork burrito & the Ruben they were all in house smoked and great. Reasonable prices too u can't beat it. Lots of good bourbon on the list. Live shows when they have em, big name acts. Check out the place for being famous but great food too, and nice people. 5 stars.

The Queso was spectacular - very well done with good warm chips 10/10 Bison burger - mediocre - five guys is much better and less $ Fajitas - I had chicken - quite dry and it looked like the setup plate (cheese and such) had been sitting around for a while - things were not fresh. pass. Salmon my wife had was really good - nice big piece, not spicy with GREAT sides. I'd say prices overall were unusually high - one app, one drink and a main came out to $200 with tip. Not crazy but not worth the money for the "average" of the food quality. Didn't leave irritated but also not really satisfied with the experience - will not go back.

Being a fairly new Colorado resident (is it still new if I've been here almost 9 months?) I have…read morenever actually been to Golden. A visit to the State Room's grand opening this afternoon brought me on over and I am not mad at it! I absolutely love the old mountain town feel of Golden and the State Room is RIGHT in the heart of it. Find the buffalo on Washington St. and the sign that welcomes you into the city and you'll find yourself right in front of Buffalo Rose, a music venue that has been completely renovated and seriously revitalized. The building itself was built in the 20's, so this place is just steeped in history, but the decor in The State Room is cozy and inviting with large, leather armchairs and a fireplace, but also chic with ultra cool and modern light fixtures and a bit of that exposed brick that I've grown to love in the Denver area. The State Room is the bar that lives right upstairs leading to a great balcony view of the stage. Beer is served downstairs, but come upstairs for some fantastic cocktails featuring State 38 Distilling's local spirits. Mitch made me a very tasty Old Fashioned which I'm pretty sure is my new go-to if my fave whiskey mule isn't available. Now that I've been introduced to Golden, I will be making my way over more often to explore and a drink at The State Room may just be my first stop - I have my eye on that smoking Old Fashioned for next time. Ps. check their daily happy hour drink specials for some of their popular cocktails starting at $5.

Came back tonight for the first time in a while and the experience was just okay. The DJ was killing it and my first bartender was kind and made my favorite drink perfectly. However I came back in to ask for my second drink and close out my tab and the other bartender snapped at me for some reason? Usually I just ignore that kind of thing and chalk it up to a busy night or something else going on before I got there that could've been affecting them. It did feel a little personal when she aggressively threw the ingredients into my drink and then threw my check down and walked away. I'm still not sure why this happened. I haven't been doing great lately and thought coming to one of my old favorite spots would be a good pick me up but that wasn't the case tonight. Hopefully, if I come back here sometime in the future, I'll have a better experience but I think I'm going to stick to other places for a while. I'd still recommend Lot 46 as a decent place to check out if you're new in the Edgewater area.

We were in town for spring break so we wanted to drop by and check it out. We arrived on a Thursday early evening. Red Rocks Amphitheater is located 10 miles southwest of Denver in the beautiful town of Morrison, CO. Parking is accessible all around the amphitheater. There was no concert scheduled that night. We were hoping to catch the sunset but unfortunately we missed it. The lighting was still great for pictures though. We parked by the Upper South Lot. From there it was a moderate 10 minute walk to the south ramp of the venue. During the walk the views of the valley is stunning. Once we made it inside the outdoor amphitheater, I was in awe of the beauty and ambiance of the Red Rocks amphitheater. The majestic backdrop of the red rocks was definitely something I have never seen before for a concert venue. It was unique and beautiful. We were able to start from the bottom of the stage area and make our way to the top. It was a nice workout climbing up the seats steps. From the top, the different angle view of the amphitheater and backdrop was amazing as well. Overall we enjoyed our time exploring Red Rocks amphitheater. It was a one of a kind experience. Unfortunately the visitor center was closed and we did not see a live concert at the venue. We hope to be back again so we can attend a concert.
