    Sour beer
    Cam B.

From the outside, it's not exactly inviting. More like a bar in the witness protection program--low profile, easy to miss, not begging you to step inside. But do, and you'll find more than the exterior suggests. The fries are the star--greasy, golden, and plentiful for the price. They showed up with ketchup packets, which felt underwhelming for a basket meant for sharing. We tried the "secret sauce," didn't love it, and honestly would've rather just had the option for ranch--even at the $0.75 upcharge. If you're a sauce-loving kind of person, the rations may disappoint. Maybe that's the trade-off: the fries are such a good deal because the portions go big while the sauces stay small. Beer prices lean steep--like ballpark steep--and with a 6% cost-of-living fee tacked onto every check, you'd hope for glasses topped with beer, not foam. Still, their move from a back street to the main drag was smart, and the overall vibe benefits from it. Best advice: time your visit for the busy hours, when the place is fully staffed and the energy is up. That's when it shifts from "just another bar" to something closer to a community spot. For the gluten-free crowd: the quiet win is the beer. Every pour is gluten-reduced--less than 20 parts per million. Many GF folks (even some celiacs) can tolerate that, though it's always best to check with your server and know your limits. This isn't a polished package yet, but there's hope here. The fries alone are worth it, the new location feels like progress, and with a little fine-tuning, this bar could move from hiding in plain sight to standing proudly on Main Street.

First time to this location. Really enjoy NI beers. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Not a lot of tables inside but it looks like they have a good size outdoor area. They have more seating in the back of building but maybe just for special occasions. I got a key lime sour from them which was amazing. Then we were there a day after Lyric Brewing (contract brewery out of NI) had their anniversary party. And they had a few beers still on tap. So good. So much hazy! Went there on 7/13/25. Cheers!

... a top 3 favorite brewery in my house! We absolutely love picking up New Image at our local liquor store, but it's an even bigger treasure when you can stop into their Wheat Ridge or Arvada location. Why? Because a draft beer after a looooooong week is like smelling popcorn when you walk into a movie theater. Instantly, you begin to unwind knowing all you have to do for the next hour and a half (or longer) is enjoy the experience! We are HUGE fans of their Hazy IPAs. They have some of the best in Denver with my recent favorite being the Quad Dub. It's a refreshing, velvety mouthful. We loved it so much that we drove to the Arvada location right after to pick up two four packs, because they were out of to-gos. Clearly, that says something! Haha. :D The bonus about this location... there's delicious oven-fired pizza available! Now, I'm a BIG PIZZA gal and my husband is a BIG PIZZA guy. We were shocked, maybe floored on how T to the A to the S to the T to the Y these pies were. The crust was crispy, chewy and the perfect vessel for the traditional or unique toppings one could order. We ordered: PEPPERONI (add onions, we love them!) tomato sauce, mozzarella, jumbo pepperoni SPRING PESTO kale-walnut pesto, mozzarella, duck prosciutto, kale, mandarinquats They were equally phe-nom-nom-nom-able... nom'd fully in minutes lol. However, I'll be honest I cannot get the SPRING PESTO out of my mind. We've been craving it since we got it and have had to actively combat our, "Do you feel like pizza? Should we go to New Image?." Thankfully, we have OK-self control. Jk, we'll probably stop in this weekend. ;D ***Important Update: 2 weeks later, I went back for the Spring Pesto Pizza.***

Loved the vibe here! I'm not a huge beer person, but Shawnee was so knowledgeable and accommodating to my taste, I loved everything I tried! She made perfect recommendations. The environment is sleek, mellow, and the pizza was delicious. Will definitely be back.

I'll admit, I'm not much of a beer drinker these days. Sure, I can appreciate a good brew, but it hasn't been my drink of choice these days. However, when an uncle from Wisconsin visits from out of town wanting to sample all the local brews, you do the research and find a spot all can enjoy. New Image Brewing checked all the boxes we were looking for, for our party of 4. Located not downtown yet halfway for both parties. CHECK. Large interior with a variety of seating, spacious bar and huge outdoor patio. CHECK. Lively atmosphere with live music options outside and ability to chat inside. CHECK. Delicious menu offerings - aka house made pizza by the attached food truck with a massive pizza oven. CHECK. A killer variety of brews on tap, ranging in styles, color, and flavor, with the ability to try them all on a flight. CHECK. Beertenders that know their stuff, willing to recommend their favorites and have fun with each patron. CHECK. Decent pricing so no one breaks the bank. CHECK. I'd easily return to this location as we had one hell of a Saturday afternoon! Cheers!

Great beers and convenient location. Good variety of creative brews. They also have thin crust pizza and salads.

We came for small-tober fest, which lived up to its name, with a vendor outside serving brats and other foods, and a Donovan frakenreiter-esque singer. They offered two of their beers for sale on a coaster system for $16 for four. The service and the interior were friendly and sleek. Loved the music choices and the skateboard contest on the tv. We had the orange wit beer and the west coast IPA. They definitely do some fun experiments with other types of hops, so if that's to your taste I would recommend!

I didn't know New Image Brewing existed until I discovered their sleek Wheat Ridge tasting room. Such a lively atmosphere here with a clear set of regulars. I planned to meet up with a friend, so I got here early, found a spot in their parking lot out front, and sat at one of the tables doing work on my laptop (hooray for Wi-Fi connection!!) while waiting. Ordered a Dream Flayer Triple IPA which was new at the time. Got a second beer (can't remember which) that I liked more, but I enjoyed the experimentation with different flavors. The food truck outside has pizza and garlic bread. There's seats at the bar or community tables, but I'd really like to come back again when the weather is warmer and sit on their patio.

    Kelly K.

An amazing brewery known for their IPA selection. They've been around the Denver beer scene for a while and always make quality beer. The price point is a little higher than most breweries but I've never been disappointed in their selection. As a plus you can get pizza from the truck out front! The staff are great, its in a quieter part of town and the space is airy on a nice day. Check it out!

4.5 stars New Image (NI) has proven itself as one of the state's elite brewers. With the opening of a second location, they added a new dimension to their taproom experience. This one hits all the right notes, with friendly service, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, scrumptious Neapolitan-style pizza, and of course, plenty of NI's outstanding brews. This was my second visit in a year. BEERS Count on a solid selection of IPAs across the spectrum of the style, potent barrel-aged stouts, fruited sours, lagers, and more. They balance innovation, taste, and quality like few others. IMO, their hazy IPAs with double, triple, even quadruple dry hopping are hard to top. I enjoyed a barleywine aged on fresh oak that was far too easy to drink for 15.4% abv, and the Quaduple Double 1 More Time hazy DIPA. Both were delicious. PIZZA Cooked in a truck outside, you can order "Social Dough" pizza from the bar. I highly recommend this. I had no expectations, but discovered one of the best Neapolitan-style pies I can remember around the Front Range. Sauce zings. Festooned with toppings, the crust comes nicely burned on the edges, but chewy and delicious everywhere else. I wished I'd taken one home. SPACE Indoors, find seating at the bar, at tables, or at the long bar-like table for four. There's plenty of space and it feels roomy, cheery. Outside, choose between a few tables on a front patio or picnic tables next to the building. SERVICE Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable about the beers. Check. While NI's original taproom remains a solid option, their menu differs. If it's pizza or a salad, the Wheat Ridge location is your place--even if it's practically a half-day trip coming from East Denver.

New Image isn't new to the Denver beer scene, however they're boasting a brand new taproom on 44th in Wheat Ridge. And who are we to complain about even more brewery options...especially when they boast an actual parking lot?! Admittedly, I've never been to the OG brewery in Arvada (walked by it so many times) but I'm a big fan of their beer. They can such a large quantity of their beers that you'll find them in almost any place that sells craft beer. Touché, homies. The new taproom is just that. Sleek and shiny, it still has that new car smell. Decor/atmosphere-wise, a bit plain to the naked eye and I hope they spruce it up inside. There's a community table, bar seating, and mostly four top tables. They do have a patio for the puppers! Plus, their own permanent food truck cranking out wood-fired pizzas. Beer-wise, New Image makes phenomenal IPA's and sours. They do make big, burly stouts too. My current obsession is the Passionfruit Dyad. A hefty sour clocking in at 7.5% ABV with a heavy serving of sweet and tart passionfruit. This will be my summertime mistress. Their IPA's are juicy, fruity and hoppy. All in the best possible ways. East Coast Transplant, Phanny Pack, and the flagship Single By Choice. The latter with hilarious copy on the can. Want to take beer for the road? They sell 4-packs of pretty much everything! Jury is still out on those wood-fired pizzas, but the pictures look convincing. Much needed addition to 44th, where there's not too many options to drink. It's all up and up for New Image Wheat Ridge!

Fortunately, it is close to our home and the reviews looked great. When we arrived, we redirected from the main dining room to another space the restaurant owns 2 doors down. I wonder if we may have had a more attentive experience had we been in the original? The first disappointment was that our meal took 40 minutes to arrive from the time that we sat down. Our waiter consistently forgot that my husband had ordered a Diet Coke or to refill the drink when he had offered. The tables around us seemingly were served earlier, even though we all placed our orders around the same time. I ordered the Thai Pork Belly Benedict, which was absolutely delectable and definitely something write home about! And the country potatoes side was perfectly seasoned and crispy. I would absolutely go back for this, just maybe on a weekday brunch due to the wait. I thought it was extremely unique how the children's menu was plated in a muffin tin, with 6 different food choices for just $12. Great deal! My husband had a Belgian waffle topped with fruit, which was really unremarkable. Reminiscent of something that you might self-make at a hotel breakfast. Unfortunately, his waffle was cold, and he requested that they remake, which our server made sure was done in a timely manner. All in all, our meal was very reasonably priced at around $43. I just wish it hadn't been such a long wait, both to receive the initial order and for drink refills.
