Ok coffee shop. Was pretty crowded on a Saturday morning. The place is spacious on the inside though. They had many drink options but most of them are sweet. The burritos are from some outside vendor so can't say much about them making food, but the egg and potato burrito was not good. Service was quick though and they have a punch card.

I had just ran the Revel Rockies Half Marathon in early June and was chilled, so I was craving a hot latte. After a quick Yelp search I drove to Hello Coffee. It was pretty busy for a Saturday morning, there was a buzz of groups visiting over coffee. The barista was friendly and answered my questions about their chai, which I ultimately chose. The wait was a little long, but again they were busy. The chai was warming and exactly what I needed after a chilly morning race. I wish it were a bit more spicy as I like a kick to my chai, but that's just my preference.

Cute coffee shop in Lakewood with a retro vibe. Large open area with lots of seating. They have a unique Latte menu and a good assortment of pastries, muffins and breakfast burritos. Good stuff!

I think this place was nice. I appreciated that they had a gluten free burrito option. It was good - maybe not *great* and I stopped eating it because I forgot to ask if it was also dairy free, but in a world where there often aren't hearty gluten free options, I really appreciated that. They have plenty of seating, really fast WiFi, and the people working there were very nice and answered lots of questions. They also moved through the line pretty quickly. They also have a ton of inventive coffee options. A lot of the options have a lot of sugar but a lot of people really like that and one could of course also order black coffee or less syrup etc. I would come back - it's not a place that I feel like, "OMG I need to come back to", but it met my needs and I was able to work there for a few hours so I appreciate that. The ambiance was also pretty cute.

Fun coffee shop, light, bright and eclectic decorating style. Comfortable seating and reasonable prices. I enjoyed a coffee drink called "thorn" made with rose and ghost pepper syrups. WOW was it yummy, sweet rose flavor with a slight kick of spice!

I've purchased so many coffees, lattes, ground coffee and beans from here and it's always very well done and high quality. I must say, though, that they completely fail when it comes to my new favorite drink, London Fog. I've tried three (two from the hospital location where they were both massive failures) and one from the Garrison Street location. Even that one was bad. I will be going elsewhere for my London Fogs now. It would be a great idea for Village Roaster to do some recipe research and bump up their quality of this Earl Grey tea based drink. It's becoming more popular in this area and other coffee shops do a great job with it.

Suffice it to say, this place has ruined all other bakeries for us. The staff was extremely helpful in giving recommendations, and they did not disappoint. I got the cinnamon roll (of course), and a cheese danish, and my wife got their lemon & almond pastries. The price was extremely reasonable for what we were about to experience. Dear reader, these delectable delights were unlike anything we've ever tasted before. Perfectly buttery, flaky, warm, and full of flavor. It was all we could do not to make a scene at our table out of sheer culinary delight. We actually ended up going back to the counter for seconds. Now, days later, we're back in Michigan, sitting down with cinnamon rolls from our local bakery, and it's just... okay? "It's not Taste of Denmark..." I say, the light fading from my eyes. "Yeah..." my wife responds, despondent. So thank you, Taste of Denmark. You have set the bar too high, and now none shall ever compare. I hope you're happy. At around 12.75 before tax & tip, I found those prices pretty reasonable. In fact, quite a steal compared to other meals I ate in this district on this trip. I didn't have to wait long for my to-go even though they were busy. I didn't take a pic because I figured the takeout container isn't ideal plating. Salad was pretty decent quality and portion was just right for lunch. I think I was expecting something a little fancier but in retrospect I think it was just right for the price. Finally made it in and they were still busy at 3 on a Sunday but the line wasn't out the door. It's a very cute cafe. I love the art and decor sprinkled throughout with the yellow. Seats are quite limited so if you're coming with a larger group, keep that in mind. Drinks come out pretty quick. I ordered the ube latte and it was delicious. It was a bright purple color but they use a syrup which I like so it's not powdery. If you're not a coffee drinker like me, I highly recommend it (and you can get it with oat milk which a lot of places don't allow as an option when you order an ube). My partner got the black sesame latte and he liked it. The black sesame foam on top was good. Now I was skeptical about the sando but the chicken katsu was so delicious. The sauce on the sandwich is like a curry flavoring or a flavor like it. The chicken is made as you order. While it does take some time, it is so good. The toast was also toasted quite nicely so there's still a crunch when you bite into it. Definitely when I'm in Lakewood, we're making a stop in.
