What a gem! Really great coffee that is roasted on site. Matcha and hot chocolate are also great. I love that they serve drinks with a Stroopwafel - such a nice touch. They have a variety of seating: regular tables, high top, couches, and outside. It's perfect for any occasion, from working to meeting up with friends for a chat. Clean bathroom, free wifi, and even amenities for dogs - water bowl & toys! Nice service. Bivouac will certainly continue to be a regular stop for us in Evergreen! read more

must stop if you're coming into evergreen from the I-70 side! grab a cup (with a little strupewafle) and either stay for the good vibes or cross the street for. walk around the disc gold course. side note - one of only 2 coffee shops in the denver area that carries beans from Uganda (sometimes) this is a big plus for me :) read more

In Evergreen for the week and stopped here today to grab lattes for myself and a coworker. Both did iced oat milk lattes but I did get the maple spices... Both were absolutely amazing. Absolute gem of a place! We brought our dog and were made to feel instantly welcome. Ordered two lattes and loved loved loved both the coffee and the presentation, which came with a little stroopwafel and a bit of seltzer water, making us feel like we were somewhere in the Italian alps! I am new to town and was looking for the quintessential coffeehouse. I found it at Bivouac! The coffee is awesome and the ambiance is delightful. Service is friendly and there is lots of comfy seating--both couches and high top tables if you need to work. There is also outdoor seating, that catches the morning and early afternoon sun. This is a great local coffee shop in Evergreen, CO. While a little tucked away, they are a great stop for a coffee! They have a smaller menu, but that is not concerning because to me that means they know what they do and they do it well. I got that maple spice latte and my fiancé got the iced chai. I love this place. Good espresso, with no upcharge on alternative milk. (The way it should be!) The views here are gorgeous. It's so peaceful to sit outside and listen to the birds singing. Their coffee presentation is lovely too; drinks are served with sparkling water and on a plate. Very European. I don't get out here much, but always stop by Bivouac whenever I'm passing by. read more

Beautiful open space with super knowledgeable and friendly people (Dara & Scott were there) who are passionate about environmentally friendly & naturally processed coffee. The inside venue (and patio) is dog-friendly too. Delicious, earth-friendly coffee served with kindness & belly rubs. My dog wanted to take up permanent residence there. (So do I!) Scott, the head roaster, ground up a bag of the Tanzania dialed in perfectly for my aeropress. It's been heaven drinking it during my travels. IF I return to Virginia, I will be getting my beans shipped from Bivouac in Evergreen. A lovely, tucked away coffee shop. It was quiet and serene on a Sunday morning. We stopped on our way back to Denver after doing some hiking near Evergreen. The inside is a beautiful open space. I had an absolutely delicious golden latte!! The barista delivered my drink to my table on a wooden tray alongside a glass of carbonated water and a mini stroopwafel. The little extra details were so nice and unexpected! The presentation totally elevated my experience. We will be sure to stop here on our next way out near Evergreen! read more

Definitely get it warmed up. 3) Free wifi. The less good: 1) Given they roast their own coffee I had high expectations on the taste of my latte but it was just okay, nothing standout. 2) The cinnamon rolls are another thing the Muddy Buck is known for and maybe I just got one from a day-old / less fresh batch but it wasn't that great. The edges were crispy - not sure if that's intentional - I prefer my cinnamon rolls soft & pillowy. 3) The service is hit-or-miss and their overall workflow needs some adjusting. After most orders the cashier would walk away and tell the next person in line they'll be with them in just a few minutes, even if it wasn't that busy. When I got my Italian soda, I didn't get my cookie - I was told they were still working on it (it was in the display case) - yet my friend who ordered after me got her soda and cookie at the same time. I had to go up again to ask for it. 4) They're inconsistent with their use of disposable vs reusable packaging. My latte was in a to-go cup despite dining in and plenty of reusable mugs hanging there. Cinnamon roll came on a plate. Italian soda was a to-go cup. Cookie was in a to-go bag. They have both reusable and disposable silverware. Some adjustments are needed IMO.

My husband got sausage sandwich, and he said it was flavorful. The salt and vinager chips were different, most of our table did not like them. The waiter was very busy but nice. It took a monent to get our check. I wasn't ever asked if I wanted another beer. I fell like they are more a restaurant than a brewery. They have their core beers, nothing posted about flights or the new rotating beers. Not even a little slip of paper explaining the new beers.

Bivouac is seriously one of my favorite coffee spots! The vibe is just right--cozy, laid-back, and full of good energy. The coffee? Always top-notch. Amano is what a lot of coffee shops wish they could be…read more location is fun, right down from evergreen and 20 minutes from morrison. it has indoor seating with tons of cozy nooks and plants everywhere. it's the perfect balance of community and privacy. there's a sections out back along the river to bask in the sun and unwind. they use Queen City beans which is a huge win in my opinion and the coffee drinks did not disappoint. we also got a blueberry matcha which was a very fun and somewhat unique menu options. overall, i highly recommend this place if you're will and ready to get out of the city! wether it's for a quick stop, to post up and work, or hang with a friend i highly recommend it here! shoutout to ellie for recommending this place

The prices are cheap and it's extremely convenient since it's on the Mines campus. There usually isn't a line and they're pretty quick. I typically come here if I need a mid-day pick me up (in other words... pretty often). I usually won't come here if I need a coffee in the morning because I'll just pick one up at Starbucks or Cafe 13 on my way to campus.
