Fabulous coffee and very friendly barista, James in a cute coffee shop. The Mountain milk is very tasty! Can I say I now have done a Fourteener in Denver?

WOW! This one knocked everything out for me…read more Workers were very kind, and welcomed us in to Denver warmly. The ambiance and store is beautiful, many catchups and friendly meetings around us. I grabbed the cloud matcha and was in heaven. Each sip I was sad to drink, since it would mean the experience would be over soon! It inspired me to try and make a cloud matcha, but I couldn't match this level. Truly a phenomenal spot, try it out! It's a bit out of the main **since this happened, I've made multiple cloud matchas. I judge greatness by my desire to recreate a food item/drink on my own-and I did this one. Wonderful drink

I knew of this place, but had never been until the new year began after it was recommended to me by another Yelp Elite (shout out Caroline!). From the outside looking in, you might not know this is a coffee shop. Very minimal signage from 38th. However when you walk in, you are greeted with smiles and a warm welcome almost instantaneously. They brand themselves as an Indonesian specialty coffee shop. I think it's cool that they've have a special Lunar New Year menu. And their pastry game is top notch, sourcing from heavy hitters like GetRight's and Banh & Butter. But for me, I can't help myself from ordering their espresso tonic. They pair the espresso with a coconut yuzu tonic, with a hint of vanilla, and a dried lemon wheel for garnish. It's sweeter than what I typically enjoy, however it's so damn delicious and refreshing! OBSESSED. It normally gets crowded in here, with plenty of people like me working remotely on their laptops. The owners are also extremely nice and have been behind the counter every time I've been. Coffeegraph has quickly risen to the core of my coffee shop rotation! I hope you give 'em a try!

I've purchased so many coffees, lattes, ground coffee and beans from here and it's always very well done and high quality. I must say, though, that they completely fail when it comes to my new favorite drink, London Fog. I've tried three (two from the hospital location where they were both massive failures) and one from the Garrison Street location. Even that one was bad. I will be going elsewhere for my London Fogs now. It would be a great idea for Village Roaster to do some recipe research and bump up their quality of this Earl Grey tea based drink. It's becoming more popular in this area and other coffee shops do a great job with it.

Oh my god, the pour over. Best coffee I ever had…read more Specifically I got pour over with their rigoberto Herrera beans from Colombia. Just black. The blueberry flavors pop and stay throughout, it's so fruity and floral with some tea notes. A solid amount of chocolate flavor just adds to the complex symphony in each sip. It's actually blowing my mind. Not bitter at all, and no sourness. Perfectly extracted. Since it was my first time, they were extra nice and made some pour over with vilma chambi for me to try. Also very nice, perfectly extracted. Earthy, comforting like beans on toast kind of vibe. They roast the beans themselves at medium to light with a focus on what is best for expressing that bean. As I sit here and enjoy my coffee and pastry, they are roasting beans. A tad noisy, but really adds to the immersive experience of being in a coffee place. Atmosphere is awesome with a variety of types of seating (bar, individual small table, community table, etc). You can watch them make coffee, there's a tasting lab, and the roasting room. All open space, and you can see everything. Service is excellent and personable. I asked for recommendations and they knocked it out of the park. I overheard another customer telling them, "whenever you suggest something, you're always right." And making me another cup to taste is above and beyond. Highly recommend enjoying coffee at the establishment and taking your time. I wish this place wasn't so far out of my way. I just happened to be in this part of town. Next time I'm in this area, this is a must visit for me.
