(Current road construction on Wadsworth but pay attention to the road and follow the signs to lead you to the coffee shop) They offer a Chagaccino which is made with Chaga Mushrooms and two shots of espresso, it was delicious! Cassie owns and operates the coffee shop and provided us with wonderful quick service. We even learned from Cassie that she roasts her beans locally in Denver. I wish there was a 10 star button, because that's what this coffee shop really deserves. The barista was accommodating and as sweet as the iced breve she handed to me. The shop itself is stuffed to the brim with charm and houses cozy, fall-ish vibes. With a myriad of sugar-free syrup options and keto friendly, gluten free mushroom additives, this place is a dream for those battling autoimmune issues, diabetes and more. Such a cute little drive thru spot on Wads! The oat milk cappuccino was delicious. She even placed a precious little chocolate covered coffee bean on top when handing me my drink! What a nice touch. I just had to go back the very next morning and try an iced americano with a splash of oat milk. Delicious! And again, popping the little chocolate-coated coffee bean in my mouth as I drove away on my way to work brought a little rush of joy. Know that if there is anyone in front of you in line, there will be a wait since it's only one person working in there, but it's worth the wait and the coffee is so good! They also have fun monthly flavor combos if you like to be adventurous in trying new fancy drinks, but I'm a classic drink girly so you'll have to discover those on your own. ;) read more

Sugar Cube is my new favorite local coffeeshop! I was a little unsure because of how modest it looks from the outside, but never judge a place by its cover. The barista working was so lovely, as I decided on the perfect drink - a large hot strawberry rose latte with oat milk. SOOO good, it tasted like a dream. I stopped here on my way into work today, and it's the cutest thing I've ever seen. The woman working was so kind to me and told me all her favorites when I asked what to get for breakfast. I ordered a cappuccino and she asked how much foam I wanted- so considerate! Additionally, they left a little chocolate bean or such on my drink and it was the sweetest touch. Right now due to construction, it's a little hard to get in and out of the lot, but if you want to be treated with warmth and kindness in your morning, I highly recommend stopping by. If you're someone who drives the 121/Wadsworth corridor the sugar cube is between 41st and 43rd Avenue. This is the cutest drive-thru that's been here for 20 years. The new owner an enterprising lady Cassie took over just this January. She has that patient demeanor from her previous life as a dental hygienist. You have to be. I bet you she was good! With a toddler in school; opening up her own business was a no brainer. She can make her own schedule. When I visited her she had a steady flow of customers. Everything she uses is mostly organic. The milk, the honey, the coffee, the spices and some of the syrups( apparently nobody makes organic chocolate sauce).‍ She uses Copper Door Coffee. A local roaster that's also woman owned. Let's support local small businesses like this. Woman owned too! (GOOD TO KNOW): She offers sugar free options. Her best seller is Vanilla latte She carries muffins & danishes. This place is downright adorable! I was driving by and it caught my eye so I decided to give it a try. The associate working was very friendly and offered helpful suggestions. I tried a dirty chai with lavender and it was dreamy. It even came with a little chocolate-covered espresso bean on top. The menu is organized and easy to read. They had hot drinks, cold drinks, caffeinated and uncaffeinated. They also offer a decent selection of baked goods. This place is charming and lovely. I have heard of doing this as a life hack, but this was my first time experiencing ice cubes made from frozen coffee. It definitely made my latte a cut above the normal experience. It was well-prepared, priced appropriately, and served by a lady who obviously has pride in her business. But, what I will remember is that when most of the drink was gone, and I just had a cup full of melting ice, it was like almost getting a free small refill on my drink. I was slightly disappointed that they were out of Splenda on this visit, but she did substitute a decent sugar-free syrup for me. The lady working (who I assume was the owner) was so friendly and knowledgeable and recommending things and servicing me as I ordered. She then told me the woman before me (a regular) paid $20 worth for the people ordering ahead of her, so I got my coffee for free! This just goes to show that they maintain clientele.
