Full Tank Food Park came out of left field. I've driven by/walked by a thousand times these last four years and often contemplated, "should I buy this place myself?" It was a long ignored, abandoned gas station. And now the owners have cleaned the space, decorated the inside, and boom, there's a permanent coffee shop, a quaint living room/communal workspace and food trucks on site. Their grand opening was this past weekend. Moonflower Coffee are slinging the beans and the coffee was very good. We ordered two black Americanos and sat for awhile. We look forward to trying their special seasonal creations! The food truck situation is still in the works. The goal is to have more vendors on site, host events, and sell cocktails. It's still in the process and they're looking at being in full swing next month (November 2023). I am so happy this didn't get turned into condos. Thanks for keeping Colfax cool and reimagining an old building. Excited to see what's to come!

I finally landed on their Sparkling Matcha Lemonade - so good and a bit tart. Love. My friend ordered a gorgeous latte. Two fans here. We also shared their Jalapeno Cheddar Queso. It was so incredibly good with the cheese beautifully melted and spicy. I could have taken a bowl home with me and eaten it with a spoon. YUM. Connected to Seedstock Brewery off Colfax, we were able to spot the shop from the road, park on the street nearby, and make our way inside. The space is cozy, welcoming and offers seating for catching up with friends, to getting work done or simply soaking up the sun. Brew Culture offers both coffee, tea and fresh kombucha on tap! Once mom and I set foot inside, we headed to the counter to place our order - two different iced coffee (peanut butter and jam nitro cold brew and the Cinnamon Honey latte) and a glass of the peach ginger kombucha! The barista was so friendly and nice, complementing our orders upon receipt and whipping them up in a flash. He handed them over with a smile, making me smile in the process. We made our way to the patio to sit, chat, and try our coffees and nosh on the cookies we purchased. Everything was delicious, refreshing and totally hit the sweet treat spot! Looking at the croissant, it looks rather small for the amount I paid for it. Putting this pastry up my mouth, I can smell the butter that was used to make it. Taking a bite, the flaky and crunchy croissant hit my mouth, but also all over my jacket. Lesson learned: sit down at the bakery and enjoy the pastry. I did get a chance to talk to the manager about the pastries that are available. The conversation was pleasant. This is one of the most inviting coffee shops in Denver with plenty of seating of all types (upholstered, tables and chairs, a large table for a group, inside and outside dining. They roast their own coffee beans, and the coffee is very good! The breakfast sandwich is so delicious that it is worth traveling to indulge yourself. Their seasoning of the eggs in the sandwich is perfection, and the bacon, sausage, spinach, melted cheese, and the crisp English muffin are all cooked perfectly to complement the egg. Pat and I had a nice conversation with Steph, who was extremely friendly and warm. The staff was kind, helpful, and efficient. There are street parking spaces and a parking lot behind the shop. The shop's noise level is low to moderate.

Major bummer and IMO not a great way to run a business so many love and whose reliabity we depend upon. Just went on their website and see they'll be re-opening July 30, but that's the only place online to see the fact of their closure. For example, Google says they are open today, July 23.
