Wow! Never expected this chocolate croissant to be crunch, buttery, and scrumptious! Came here to grab something sweet after eating some barbecue meats for lunch, and about 30 minutes before Suzette closes, I thought their pastries would be stalled, but I was wrong. Looking at the croissant, it looks rather small for the amount I paid for it. Putting this pastry up my mouth, I can smell the butter that was used to make it. Taking a bite, the flaky and crunchy croissant hit my mouth, but also all over my jacket. Lesson learned: sit down at the bakery and enjoy the pastry. I did get a chance to talk to the manager about the pastries that are available. The conversation was pleasant. If you happen to be being in this neighborhood, I highly recommend you stop here for their French pastries. read more

I work from home and love checking out new coffee shops. I stumbled on this one and it's super cute and cozy. The space feels high-end, and the pastries are amazing for the price! I tried the cinnamon roll and the Coconut Fleur croissant, both were heavenly. I got a 12oz cappuccino too, though half of it was foam, which was a bit disappointing, but it still tasted great. The pumpkin coffee cake was good but did not taste very pumpkin-like. I was not asked if I wanted it warmed up. The black coffee did not taste bitter or burned. Not sure why it was served in a paper cup when I stated I was dining in. The location is beautiful with large windows that bring much light. I was horribly disappointed that they charge their customers a 15% service charge ( for what??? Handing me the food and drink I just paid for??) This trend - asking for tips or charging service charges is a hold over from COVID when the public felt sympathy for the service industry- Now the industry is exploiting past compassionate consumers to pay more than the ridiculously high prices for food... Another hold over from COVID. Funny how prices have not gone down after we reached a steady state. I don't usually give 5 stars but Suzette's deserves 5 and then some. I came in off a recommendation from a friend to get the plain croissant. Didn't expect much going in...but quickly knew I was in for a treat when a warm croissant was passed across the counter. The euphoria continued as I took my first bite and discovered the sprinkle of flaky salt, a true cherry on top. Oh and I was just visiting town but made sure to start everyday with a stop at Suzette's to try the rest of their menu and confirm everything is a 5 out of 5. read more

i have visited this establishment twice in last month and was displeased both times. My first experience was ordering pain au chocolat and it was too salty and overbaked. The second time they didnt have pain au chocolat but something similar, it was over baked also. Two came to $12.28, i gave the cashier a $20 bill. Her reply to me was she didnt have change and gave me cash back which i stuffed in my pocket. When i got home I realize she gave me $7 back so my purchase was rounded off to $13. Now I realize that this is such a small thing, really i do but as a customer not cool. Needless to say I have tried twice and wont try again.
