She actually listened to what we wanted and came up with "the plan" for our dessert table exactly on theme on her first try. Even had a superbly spooky (yet classy, lol) decoration plan ready to go before we even had our first tasting I tried quite a few bakeries before meeting Cristal; those everyone kept telling me were amazing and were the must-have vendors for weddings, blah blah. Yet, I just was not impressed. Couldn't understand why so many thought they were so wonderful - don't get me wrong, they were fine, but didn't knock my socks off. Figured I would just have to pick the best of those I tried, and hopefully, our guests thought it was great even if I personally did not. Then, I was lucky enough to find and meet Cristal - my hero Her dark chocolate cupcakes alone had me hooked! Perfectly moist, balanced flavors, didn't overcompensate with too much frosting (too many try to hide a not-so-great cake with icing IMO), superb deep chocolate taste - YUM YUM YUM! And it was beautiful to top it off, lol! Her brownie - OMG! And her macarons..... yes, please! Hired her on the spot, and I never questioned that decision along the way - I cannot say enough good things about her service and her delicious treats! Best descriptors I can use to characterize working with Little Cravings.... *Creative!!! *Great communication *LISTENS to you! *Excited *Thorough *Perfectly reasonable contract terms (some crazy asks out there!) *Detail oriented *Talented!!! *Flexible *Customizes to you! I was looking for a shop to do half a dozen cupcakes for a small gender reveal. I'm so happy we found this spot. Not only were they able to do the half dozen, but they also moved up the order a few days early because I couldn't wait. The staff went above and beyond with customer service and were so friendly. Not only was the service amazing, but the cupcakes were so good. We got a vanilla base with white icing, pink and blue sprinkles, and a blue icing on the inside. The cake was amazing and the cupcakes were frosted just the right amount. The cupcakes were soooooo good. We're so grateful that Smallcakes helped us plan the perfect moment and that the cupcakes not only looked pretty, they tasted great too. We all got a craving to try that special Dubai cookie which is seriously so over priced bc on top of the already expensive cookie they add $1.99 on that cookie. So we ordered the blueberry muffin, lemonade, and chocolate chip cookie. $35 for 4 cookies with tip... yes that's what I said. Unfortunately, on Saturday evening they must stop making cookies and when people place an order for specific items instead of saying the can't fulfill the order, they just throw whatever they have in a box. We got the muffin cookie, a chocolate cookie, 3 mini iced cookies and 2 slim cookies. I guess they tried but wtf. This isn't what I ordered, it isn't what I wanted and it's not what I paid for. Next time, just cancel my order.
