Responding within hours to my Google review while completely ghosting me behind the scenes truly speaks for itself. I had a very bad experience with them in terms of food quality, quantity, and especially communication. He claims we shouldn't have ordered such light bites if we actually wanted to feed a group of 14, but he was the one who created the menu and only provided four small trays of food. Attached is the picture of the burnt, inedible pita bread we received. I paid an extra $100 for a dessert and he delivered 8 store bought cookies cut into 1/4ths. "High caliber fine dining experience" is an embarrassing phrase to call what we received. He also mentioned he would be there to drop off the food "closer to 4:00 pm". I let him know we would be headed back to the house at 4 and when we arrived at 4:10pm, the food had been left on the porch with no message or call. That is completely unacceptable. If he was waiting for 30 minutes, wouldn't calling or texting us be the obvious solution? Apparently not for Naughty Food Company--the only time you'll hear from them is if you leave a review. I am waiting for his petty response to this one.... Truthfully, I work in the service industry and understand how important reviews are. I would NOT be writing this if Topher hadn't ghosted me. I absolutely would have worked with him to figure out a resolution, but since ghosting seems to be standard practice (based on another Yelp review I read), it's starting to look like a pattern--and it needs to be called out before other people are fooled by this company. If you claim to offer a "high-caliber fine dining experience," why take on my event, underdeliver, and then disappear? That's not high caliber--that's "leave the food on the porch and never follow up" type of service. If you are considering this company, BE CAREFUL. He was responsive at first, but after promising to call me back to discuss my concerns, I never heard from him again. This is the kind of business that delivers what THEY want--and then ghosts you when you're disappointed or have any further questions.

Stephanie is not only a great chef, but also a great instructor; she knows how to explain things in a way that non-chefs will understand, all while making her classes fun, not to mention delicious! Every single thing I've eaten in these classes has been foodgasmically delicious. And I don't use that term lightly. I am not a vegan. Not even close. But there is more than one vegan recipe that has worked its way into my regular rotation, thanks to Cooking for Luv. You'd be surprised how handy it can be to have a few animal-free recipes in your arsenal. Even the DESSERTS are healthy! Not that you can tell by how they taste. Whether you be vegan, vegetarian, omnivore, or whatever, Cooking for Luv is definitely worth it.

So imagine the pleasant surprise when the same friend had the same 4th of July party exactly one year later, only this time to discover that the person responsible for the most amazing food was her! There was so much thought that went into the food.. what I mean is, not only was it delicious, but there was something for everyone (vegans, paleos, veggies, people that just want to pig out and eat deep fried pickles with the best sweet and sour sauce... I didn't even know that was an option in life until that day). I digress. Ok.. so here you have all these different types of food, all delicious AND all following one unified theme.. 4th of July. In other words, even though there was something for everyone it didn't look like a pot luck dinner where everyone brings something different. My mind is being blow b/c I didn't appreciate this awareness until right now, as I am typing. I think this is one of the things that separates people that like to cook and make contrasts for the sake of just being different (nothing wrong with that for sure!), and a true chef. I would highly recommend her and my girlfriend and I are looking forward to having her do a private cooking class/meal with our friends! Dave ps: here site and facebook page rocks too!

The experience from start to finish was excellent, and I cannot recommend them enough. Our group was a bit complicated with dietary restrictions, including shellfish allergy, gluten-free, vegan, no red meat, and no pork. Chef Rich worked with my husband and me on the menu over a few phone calls to make sure we could accommodate all our guests. He went above and beyond to ensure everyone felt included in the experience with thoughtful substitutions based on each person's dietary need! At his creative suggestion, Chef Rich brought an additional assistant/bartender to create a "cocktail hour" for us. The bartender crafted a signature drink that all could enjoy and made a selection of cocktails based on our group's preference. The team was friendly, professional, and clearly cared about providing an outstanding experience. We are so thankful for them and we were all so impressed. Hire them, you will not regret it. He prepared 3-courses that featured a smoked trout appetizer, a perfectly cooked filet, and a memorable chocolate dessert - each course was exceptional. Chef Rich was organized, punctual, and communicated very well. Since we were staying at an AirBnb, we did not know what dinnerware would be available so Chef even brought plates and silverware. After the meal, he left the kitchen cleaner and in better shape than he found it. We will be raving about this experience for years.
