Milk Bar... it's a 3.5 star rating, I suppose. Ok, will round up…read more The best thing about it is they don't hassle you as bad at the door. They have multiple rooms to explore. The music is good, mostly. But you may need to hop around as it can change so much. So, wander around, you might get lost, but you'll find you way again! (or just ask! ha) Not as great, the drinks are SO weak. It's a little ridic. If I'm paying $15 or whatever for one shot and soda, please let me taste the alcohol? Like, come on! I can buy a bottle for that. Just let me taste it. Bartenders can be hit or miss. I've had some totally cool ones and some really strange ones that seem to have personality issues. Not as much lately, though, just overall in the times I've come here over a few years. Maybe the current bar manager (who introduces themselves as such when you walk in) has got it whipped more into shape. Can you just tell them to include booze in drinks?! Lol Entrance is in the back alley.

It was Thursday night and they we charging a $10 cover. When I got in there, there were only 10 people in there, and that included the employees. The staff there were friendly and the music they were playing was nice. This place gives off an old dungeon vibe. It could probably use some updating. There is metered street parking available in the front and a parking lot available in the back, where the entrance was when I visited. I do like the club's set up. It has a couple of rooms. There is like a lounge area, a video game room, and a couple of bar areas with dance floors. They have different music playing in the rooms. The video game room has a bar and classic coin operated video games, like Spy Hunter, Ms Pacman, and Off Road. They mostly take quarters and they have a change machine available. The drinks here are reasonably priced and were decent pours. I only stayed here about 30 minutes. I was really bored and decided to just call it a night and go to bed early. I would probably come back here, but It would not be on a Thursday night and I would do some homework on the place before I came here.

Our friend took us to this place, and it is clear this would be a regular spot for us if we lived here. You enter from the northeast end of the building, go through security, and pay your entry fee (which I think was $15 on a Friday night). We wound through the main dance hall that had some dark, artsy vibe before going through the T-shaped hallway that revealed some private group rooms with red lighting, before a large birdcage space appeared before us that you enter through the other bar area -- which I didn't realize until I made it to the other bar area to see the doorway. I thought there was a lock with a large key that I was missing. But I digress. The Negronis were on point, and I enjoyed them outside as the weather was fine and not freezing or hot. The service was fast, but it wasn't packed yet at 10 PM local time, so maybe give it an hour or two; then it may be a different story. There are two bar areas for the record, with the first one by the entrance where you arrived. The Mockingbird is definitely a lot of fun to enjoy.

It really blew my…read moremind when my tiiinnyyyy little pill container (for OTC stuff like Benadryl, Aleve, etc.) was confiscated. Ya'll at the door are some IDIOTS. Your job is not to guess what PERSONAL meds I have on me. Did you also know some people may NEED their prescriptions without having to explain that to you?? You're not pharmacists. What your JOB IS to make sure there aren't 1) weapons or 2) drugs meant for **distribution** (i.e., large quantities). That is it, dummys. The god complex is very pathetic to experience. Leave people with their personal meds alone and don't touch private parts. This is one spot where they are taking their positions WAY too far and beyond and it ain't that serious. The venue itself is fun and has quite a few different rooms to hang out in. The main floor has SO many people PARKING ON THE DANCE FLOOR which is sooooo anoyyyiinggg. It's like these kids just wanna be or say they're "at the club" but they don't actually even "club". Go to the back and stand. Don't stand right in front of the damn DJ. They do have lots of popular DJs here and often more the type of music I'm personally into. The real popular ones, though, are so high up all you can see is a shadow of a person--amazing, lol. If you have the luxury of a car, leave anything remotely questionable in there. I don't ever drive here so I have to try and think hard before leaving my home since I can't even bring Aleve or Benadryl without them causing an issue (which is something I have literally never once before in my entire life going anywhere EVER have had to think about). When you get your door staff's crap together, maybe there will be another update.

For us,…read moreit was one of the "Jazz Room" series: A joinery to the heart of New Orleans and we absolutely had nothing negative things to say about it as the experience last night was fantastic. It was a show with seats. Our tickets were in zone A where we were able to sit pretty much right in front of the stage/band. Wow! The staff upfront who scanned our tickets were welcoming and one of them took us to our section. She also showed us where the main bar and the restrooms etc. were m. Very organized and courteous system to say the least. The bar area was also organized, very clean and quite spacious. The lady who assisted us (for a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon; it was a very decent Cab!!) had a warm smile. She welcomed us. Very polite indeed. The show started right on time at 8pm. The 5 talented musicians entertained us occasionally incorporating talks with funny elements. They also encouraged us to be part of the songs; we thus sang along with them. The kind of crowd we had was my age range (mostly in their early to late 50's or a bit older in their 60's. My 25-yr old daughter was definitely one of the youngest people in the audience. Everyone was courteous to others; very laid back atmosphere indeed.) The show was only 1 hour with no encore (so you'll be out the door by 9:10pm unless you linger.) That was the only bummer thing about it but other than that, it was a night of magical vibes where we felt like slipping into the old jazz era of 1920's. It's funny. After living in the greater Denver area for 28 years, it was my very first visit to this venue. Despite the very low ratings of only 2.5 stars as of late January 2026, my first impression for this one of the iconic places is near 5-star rating. I can't wait to attend more shows at this place in the future.

They have a lot of beer options, cocktails, and even mocktails and NA drinks. I got an NA cider that had a blueberry lime flavor and it was super delish. The DJ... the GFX on screen... the music. Everything was a 10/10. The DJ looked like he was having the time of his life and his energy was so infectious. One of the best DJs I've seen, I even said I hope I can get a DJ like this for my wedding one day because he was so so so fun. The crowd was having such a good time and so many people were dressed with the 2000s theme. The GFX on screen added to the night with hilarious 2000s throwbacks like Paint and WordArt. Plenty of space inside, there's an upstairs with tables and the bar and downstairs has more of a dance floor. Definitely recommend planning a night out here, you'll have so much fun!
