I want to acknowledge the exceptional service that I recently received from Andrew and Celeste. We made an order that was to be delivered to the hospital where we had been for days with my infant granddaughter, when we encountered a miscommunication with Uber Eats. We were instructed to call the restaurant to notify them of the issue that interrupted our delivery. While speaking with Andrew, he initially offered a full refund since my order was never received, but I explained to him that the hospital food was horrible and I really wanted my order from Urban Egg. He immediately sprung into action and offered a resolution that went above and beyond his call of duty! He told me to allow about 25 mins and my food would personally be delivered by someone from the restaurant. Not too much longer, I received a call from Celeste that she was at the hospital with my order. There's nothing like receiving customer service with a high level of compassion along with it during such an emotional and stressful time. Not only was the food delivered promptly, but it was steaming hot and delicious! It was so good that I forgot to take pics before we devoured our food, but take my word, it was delicious!! This place had been on my list for a while so when I picked up some friends nearby at Union Station it was a perfect opportunity to stop in for some brunch. Even at around 9:30 AM on a Wednesday morning this place was pretty full. It's right in the mix of downtown, with lots of skyscrapers all around, and it is on the bottom floor of one of these buildings so it's a little tough to see from the street and parking can be a little hard to find. I found some street parking a few blocks over in the end, but it was paid. The menu was extensive, they have everything from drinks to green juices to coffees and breakfast and lunch. Analysis paralysis. I ended up going with a fresh juice and one of their protein bowls, I believe the Carnitas. It was pretty good, and I tried the French toast as well, which was awesome. All my friends had good things to say about their meals and the prices are pretty fair and average. There is hardly any street parking around the building and you may have to do a few laps. There are also stairs to get up to the restaurant. It was nice and clean inside but quite loud. The order was not ready when we arrived and it took a bit of time due to an employee complaining to who must have been the manager about another employee to which the manager said that they are lucky that they aren't getting written up for being late. read more

Saw this place opened up and it has been on my list for a while so me and a few girlfriends decided to make a reservation. It ended up being the coldest weekend, but it was nice and warm inside. Parking is fairly difficult as there is no dedicated spot however you can find street parking and a few lots within a 5 minute walk. Thankfully I live close enough to walk, it is in a great spot in downtown. Our waiter was amazing! He had such a great attitude and checked on us regularly. We ended up ordering quite a few different plates and sharing a few items. The pancakes were unreal; I was very please with them as a... starter. lol I got the chicken and eggs it was great. I would absoluely come here again (and again). We were staying in downtown Denver during a weekend of wedding celebrations. The only times we weren't with our friends' and their other loved ones was over breakfast/brunch, so it was important to my husband and me to find places with good coffee, good food, and an ambiance to enjoy for lazy breakfasts. When we walked up to Urban Egg, we already knew we had mad a good choice based on the shades outdoor seating bursting with sounds of morning merriment and tinging flatware. We opted to sit inside, which was full of natural light and smiling wait staff. The lovely Lisa took very good care of us making sure I knew that the juice I wanted was very beet forward meaning earthy (though some like my husband would say "dirt"-forward). It was delicious! Lisa also brought us a sample of the espresso butter so we could taste it. It lives up to its description! Also, my husband loved the iced vanilla latte with chai foam. I don't like sweet coffee, but I found my taste of his drink to have a fair, not-too-sweet* balance. I'd say the price is pretty typical for downtown Denver, maybe even a smidge lower than similar places. *my phone autocorrected "not-too-sweet" to "Hot-Dog-Water." Stopped in on a day trip, and wasn't disappointed. All the staff was super friendly. I sat at the bar and ordered a fresh pressed juice. They have plenty of options and I recommend trying one, because it was super refreshing. For food I had the avocado toast. The side salad was my absolute favorite. I love the melon, goat cheese and peppers on it. It was a good combination of flavor. The avocado toast was one of the best I've had, I loved the crunchy bacon bits on top. We live in the neighborhood and we're so excited to see this place under construction and then open up. We came in here for breakfast the other day and it was awesome. This is such a fun dynamic space with its triangular shape landing itself to lots of booths along the windows and plenty of tables for seating as well. Our server was amazing, and helpful with menu recommendations. I had the Tuscan Benedict, which comes with prosciutto basil tomato hollandaise with balsamic drizzle on an English muffin. It was delicious! The hash browns were also super good but so plentiful that I ended up taking them home in a small box. The New Urban Egg downtown - friends and family pre-opening trial. If this is the trial, they already passed and are fully good to go. We started with billion dollar bacon and breakfast cocktails. It's cocktail time somewhere right? The bacon was actually pretty great - crispy without being overdone. Then my wife ordered a quinoa dish that was loaded with more fruit than a Safeway fruit platter. Definitely had plenty to take home I got the carnitas bowl with egg over easy. My picture shows that first stab into a perfectly cooked egg. This bowl is marketed as spicy, yet I often disagree with restaurant spice levels (unless it's Indian or Thai). Not here - this has enough kick to make me forget about reaching for those hot sauces. Finally, a place that understands what spicy means. I know they're just getting ready to open, but you can't get a better server than Christian. He took the time to walk us through our first ever Urban Egg experience and everything he recommended was spot on. The space feels modern without being pretentious. Clean lines, good lighting, and enough room between tables so you're not listening to everyone's conversation. I'll be back for sure. Urbane egg is one of my favorite breakfast restaurants in town. I think it's everything that other place claims to be, so it's always been a mystery why it isn't more of a household name. We were thrilled to see that a new location was coming downtown and then even more thrilled when it finally opened. It took a little bit more than ten minutes to be seated on a weekend with a reservation which was tough because we were short on time. My Sweetheart and I have tried 3 of the metro area Urban Egg locations. The DTC location was our previous preferred stop (and we still enjoy it loads), but the new downtown location has quickly moved up as a favorite. The dishes here, though familiar, seem to be prepared with a higher emphasis on spice and flavor vs. heavy butter and oil. Pancakes are large and flavorful. The staff here are pleasant as has been our experience in the DTC location as well. The ambiance is brighter and more cheerful. I do appreciate the ability to make a reservation here vs. just a wait-list spot. Parking if you can find a meter is free on Sundays, otherwise there are plenty of garage and street options available. read more
