If there's one society I actually want to be a part of, it's Rye Society. This New York-style deli in RiNo seriously impressed me with its stacked sandwiches, comforting soup, and one of the best chocolate chip cookies I've had in a long time. Here's what I tried: The #18 - Steamed pastrami, slaw, Russian dressing, Swiss, on toasted rye. Absolutely killer. The pastrami was tender and packed with flavor. This is the one I'll be coming back for. Cold Cut Combo - Salami, bologna, ham, provolone, LTO, garlic aioli, and herb vinaigrette on ciabatta. Great balance and super satisfying. Matzah Ball Soup - My first ever matzo ball soup (!!) and I totally get the hype now. Chocolate Chip Cookie - Fresh-baked daily, and honestly? One of the best I've had. Top 5 material, maybe even top 3. The space has a clean, modern vibe while still feeling classic and cozy. It's great for a quick lunch, a casual breakfast, or a grab-and-go situation (though you'll want to stay and soak it in). Definitely worth a visit whether you're a deli regular or just looking to switch up your usual lunch spots. I already can't wait to go back.

Great food. Great service. Cute bathroom and the picnic tables outside we're great. Overall a great experience.

I genuinely think this may be the best bagel I've had in Denver. No joke. It absolutely beats Rosenburgs. The service was great (shoutout Tony, such a gem of a human!) The spot is cozy and clean and the music is perfection. I love the little details like the VS lotion and perfume in the restroom for customers to freshen up with. There is a few high price points on the menu but I'm actually not even mad about it because it was so incredibly good. The sesame bagel with egg and avo with garlic aioli was delectable. This is going to be a problem for my pockets lol. I'll def be back soon to try more!

Came here for a late lunch after hearing a lot of good things and honestly it was just ok. It's only a slight step above the kind of sandwiches you can get at Sprouts but $20 instead of $5.99. We obviously had to try the Rye Reuben, and also tried the Green Gables. We weren't wowed by either and were still a bit hungry after our sandwiches. I felt like all of the flavor came from the sauces, the pastrami in the Rye Reuben did not really stand out on its own. On the plus side, the pickle on the side is pretty great. The sandwiches were prepared really fast, I ordered online and picked up within 10 minutes!

One of the saddest bagel sandwiches I have ever had. Tiny slice of mediocre pastrami ( you guys should go to Katzs deli to see what real pastrami is like). Minuscule egg and cheese as well. $14 bucks? I dont know whether to feel insulted or sorry. Listen I get the obscene money printing our federal government has done and the inflation it has caused but this sandwich was just plain sad. Pass

Had their Rye Power Bowl and beyond words! So good and so worth it. But get ready! It's enough for two people! Simply creative and delicious.

Came here for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon. The place is super cute and has some great sand which/lunch options. I went with the salami sandwich, my company went with the Ruben and we shared the latkes. We were the only two in there and decided to sit inside (the place is tiny with VERY FEW seats). The food took a really long time (20ish minutes)-- seemed quite long for sandwiches... mine didn't come out toasted which I asked them if I could and they accommodated. Food good, service ok.

This spot is super dope and the hospitality was even better. Came here with a big group of friends during my little vacation in Denver and was not disappointed one bit. The spot was kind of small inside but there was some seating which is dope. There were tables outside the establishment where you can enjoy your meal. This little sandwich spot has many choices of breakfast sandwiches, bagels, and salads. I ordered The Green Gables which came with turkey, bacon, avocado, pickled red onion, vine ripe tomato, horseradish aioli. Safe to say this sandwich did not disappoint. The Green Gables - Huge sandwich with crispy bacon and creamy avocado. The pickled red onion had a nice acidity that pairs well with all the other components of the sandwich. Every sandwich came with a bag of Lays chips and a pickle which was super awesome! Overall, Rye Society has been nothing but amazing in their service and their amazing sandwiches. I got my sandwiches fairly quick and enjoyed my meal. Definitely need to come back and try the other amazing choices they have. Next time I'm back in Denver and was hungry for some sandwiches, I know Rye Society is the fine establishment I'm going to be dine at.

LOVE this spot. Great bagels, great bread, great lox, and a very friendly staff. Also a nicely lit place to get some work done while I have a coffee and bagel. I can't stay away from the pastrami and corned beef either but every now and then, I love to build my own sandwich. Try the Turkey pastrami!

Passed by this place because we saw that it was a pickelry but stayed for the amazing sandwiches. Staff was extremely friendly and gave good recommendations. We got a rye egg and a rye rueben. Both were extremely good, and had lots of flavor. Definitely a great way to start the day if you're passing the area. We also got their house-made pickles but were interesting since it had a nice crunch and had a nice saltiness to them. Was not as sour as I anticipated.

Rye Society is a true RiNo institution. This locally owned business, has the best reuben sandwich in Denver. The staff are very knowledgeable and happily walk you through the menu if you need help. It's a pretty small space, so it can get packed fast. But they have some outdoor seating which helps. I also like their pastrami and corned beef. Give them a try!

I recommend the "chingon" and if you like Bloody Marys, they have a great one! The place is big; divided in 2, one side is the restaurant and the other is a bar, with opening seating (if available). Right in downtown, Sam's No. 3 definitely grabs your attention. Classic diner vibe with a modern twist, busy energy, and a menu that's massive. Seriously--this place has something for everyone, and then some. I came in knowing I had to get back to work, so the legendary "Kitchen Sink" was out (tempting... but no chance I'm surviving that before a meeting ). After going back and forth, I landed on the French Dip. It was good--solid, no complaints--but didn't quite hit that "wow" level I'm always chasing. A little more punch would've helped, and the creamy horseradish definitely should be part of the standard setup--it made a difference. Now my dining partner... he went big. He had the sMacdown Burrito, an oversized burrito loaded with mac & cheese, tots, eggs, and chorizo. He slid me a sample, and I've gotta say--that thing brought the flavor. Bold, fun, and exactly what you'd expect from a place like this. The Verdict: Sam's No. 3 is a fun, high-energy spot with an incredible menu and something for every appetite. My sandwich didn't steal the show, but there's enough here to make me want another run at it. Next time? I'm going all-in on breakfast--because let's be honest, breakfast anytime is never the wrong decision.

I ultimately went with 4 since the sandwiches were great and it's always been great in the past. My best friend and I ordered two bagels and two drinks to split. For the bagels, we got the Bacon Sun City, which is always a favorite, the hot honey adds the perfect touch. For the second bagel, we ordered the Grandezza, which was delicious. I love anything with pesto, and the mozzarella was perfectly melted. For drinks, we ordered an iced Very Cherry Matcha Latte with oat milk and a Honey Lavender Latte (hot). Unfortunately, once we left, we realized the cherry matcha was made as a coffee drink instead of matcha. We were pretty disappointed since we planned to split one matcha and one coffee. The cherry flavor was good, but I would've loved to try it as we ordered it. For the lavender honey latte, we could taste the lavender, but it didn't seem like any honey or sweetener was added. It ended up tasting extremely strong and not sweet at all, so we didn't really drink it. Overall, the bagels were amazing, but I wish there had been more attention to detail with the drinks.

The employees here are so attentive and make sure you are getting what you need and even what you didnt even think you needed. The macaroni salad was so delicious. It's creamy without being heavy, perfectly balanced, and has that nostalgic comfort factor while still tasting elevated. It's the kind of side that could easily steal the show. The roasted red pepper and tomato soup was equally impressive. It's a silky, creamy bisque layered with smoky depth from the roasted peppers, finished with chives that brighten everything up. Even being plant-based, it doesn't sacrifice richness or flavor. Deeply satisfying and clearly well-crafted. The Pastrami Reuben is exceptional. The 12-day house-made pastrami is deeply flavorful, tender, and perfectly seasoned, layered with melty Jarlsberg, tangy pickled cabbage, and their signature Leven sauce on toasted house-made rye. It's rich, balanced, and everything you want in a classic Reuben--just executed better. I even reheated it a day later and it was just as good as when I ordered it. Equally impressive is the Smoked Beet Reuben, which honestly holds its own against the traditional version. The pastrami-spiced smoked beets bring a smoky, savory depth that feels surprisingly indulgent, not like a compromise. Paired with the same Jarlsberg, cabbage, and sauce, it's a creative, satisfying take that proves plant-based options can be just as compelling. Leven manages to take familiar comfort foods and refine them just enough to feel special without losing what makes them comforting in the first place. Definitely a spot worth returning to.

There's no performance here, no hospitality theater, no one asking how the first few bites are treating you. You walk up to the counter, you order, you take a number, you sit down. The food does the talking. And the food has a lot to say. I went on a bright Wednesday morning with a couple of friends and ordered the classic breakfast, swapping bacon for pastrami (a first for me) with an everything biscuit on the side (also a first). Both were revelations. The eggs over-hard might be the best version of that order I've ever gotten from a restaurant -- just a whisper of uncooked yolk in the center, perfectly seared on both sides. Skillet potatoes were spot-on. The skillet pastrami was rich and properly crisped at the edges. And the two generous slices of sourdough arrived with a scratch-made blueberry jam that I ended up smearing on everything I could -- sourdough, biscuit, probably would've eaten it with a spoon if no one was looking. My friend ordered the breakfast sandwich, which clearly belongs in the staples category. The baguette was the star: toasted outside, pillow-soft inside, zero tug-of-war with your teeth. That detail alone tells you the kitchen cares. This is the Ron Swanson part: there's an unapologetic confidence to this place. They know exactly what they're doing, they're not trying to oversell it, and they're not interested in charming you into liking it. They're just going to hand you something excellent and trust you to figure out the rest. The coffee was good. The food was setting-a-benchmark good. A real 5 out of 5 stars, no pickin nits. Mild observation, not a complaint: the service is counter-only, no traditional table service. Would Matthew McConaughey or Reese Witherspoon dropping plates off elevate the experience? Sure. But Ron wouldn't have it any other way, and honestly, neither would I after eating here. If I lived within 45 minutes of downtown Denver, this would be my destination breakfast. As it is, I'm a 12 hour drive away, and if it were only 11, perhaps I'd go tomorrow. The real downside? The food was so good I completely forgot to take a picture.
