Incredibly disappointed. I ordered a holiday meal a week ahead of time and assumed this would address all my holiday dinner needs. The promised official holiday bread was not correct. For high holidays Jewish people use a round challah not braided. I'm also disappointed the challah was a lot more dense and feels stale. The salad had brown lettuce. The brisket is incredibly fatty. The kugel very over cooked and the matzah balls were tasty the soup was terrible. Rugalach and Honey cake very fresh and tasty. Portions of soup and salad skimpy for 2. I've been to Rye Society on 3 separate occasions since they opened. (Most recently today) The food is always reliable and delicious. The decor is awesome. I live in San Francisco and would put this Reuben up against any that I've found there! The proprietor obviously spent a lot of time working on a great tasting sandwich - the tang of the sauerkraut and sweetness of the 1000 island dressing are perfect compliments to excellent corned beef. For those of you who are crazy about fatty juicy navel cut pastrami, then Rye Society should be your go to place for lunch. NAVEL cut...simply the BEST!!! Whenever I go out for pastrami, I always request "fatty juicy sliced thick". OMG...this is exactly what I got. No waitress service so you can get in and out quickly. I love how they wrap up every sandwich in deli paper which keeps the sandwich warm and moist. I live in Parker and this place is well worth the drive. Heard a lot of great things about this place however I guess I Musta hit them on a bad day I was hoping the pastrami was going to be tasty however it was sickly cut very chewy and lacked flavor. The portion was also very small. Definitely for the price this did not hold up in quality. The Ryebread had more flavor and it was really good. My friend had the Ruben and said it was just OK. He actually didn't even eat the full sandwich he took the other half home This is definitely a letdown especially with see you have so many great reviews I guess I'm just a person who is used to higher quality from past experiences as a foodie going to many restaurants I did hear that the turkey bacon sandwich is really good so if I'm back in the area and it's a sandwich I'm looking for I might possibly stop by to try that. read more

So.... I couldn't wait until the evening! I needed a delicious deli sandwich ASAP so I gave up and ordered from Rye Society. Oh my! Such a great choice!!! I ordered the 18+1 and it was so delicious!! The pastrami was amazing as was the rye bread - so flavorful! I just wish there had been more meat on my sandwich. From the pictures in other reviews I was just expecting more. Still amazing, I loved it and will definitely order again ( more meat next time, lol). My BF ordered the Rye Rueben and he enjoyed it but it wasn't his favorite Rueben... he definitely liked mine better, haha! Ridiculously good house pastrami and deli shop with very high quality ingredients. I very much enjoyed my experience at Rye Society and loved the sandwiches. I got the 18+1, basically a Rachel sandwich. The pastrami is the star here- it was extremely tender, flavorful, and melted in your mouth similar to a brisket. The overall topping ratio was excellent as well. The pickles were house made and I loved it- great flavor and crunch. The prices are a bit high for what you get- sandwiches are $13ish for a sandwich and chips/pickle. Value isn't the best but I still really enjoyed it. Service/facilities were all top notch. I hope that Rye Society can stay open during times like this. I'd consider calling them before you go to make sure they are still open. Local restaurants are getting hit hard and supporting local places goes a long way. Would definitely go back if I lived in Denver. read more

This was my second visit to Rye Society. The first time was opening day and I was kinda dissatisfied with my thick cut fatty cornedbeef sandwich. I figured since it was opening day that they needed to work out the kinks. I later visited Yelp to check out the reviews and pics and was pleased to see that according to the pics, they now have it down. This pic posted below on the Rye Society yelp by Mitchell I ordered the $18 pastrami sandwich extra lean.... Its supposed to be sourced from the 2nd ave deli in New York. I received this mess of a sandwich, prob the worst sandwich I've ever had. I would take a bite and all the meat from my bite would pull out of the sandwich as a result of it being very fatty. It was chewy...I threw out 80%. The coleslaw was bland, basically cabbage and carrot and the pickle tasted like a Vlassic. The Dr. Browns was the best part of the meal. I can't stress enough how big of a fan of Jewish deli I am. It's hard to beat a good corned beef or pastrami sandwich. This deli is a good mix of hip with old Jewish deli roots. With portraits of Larry David and a Natalie Portman (2 of my faves) I felt right at home. Fortunately, it's not crazy expensive. A 5oz corned beef sandwich on rye is only $12. The corned beef is packed with flavor, and the bread is soft, but has great structural integrity. As a sign of a true deli, they have phenomenal pickles. The one unfortunate piece, is that the chips that come with the sandwich is a little bag of plain lays. Yes, you can pay to upgrade to Boulder chips, but a good deli should have a better offering than that in my opinion. However, this will absolutely not stop me from going back! After moving to Denver from Ann Arbor, which is a host of its own amazing delis, it's nice to know there is always a solid Reuben in walking distance. So far I have had "The Green Gables", "The Rye Reuben", the "18+1" and they have all been spectacular. The rye bread roll was so good--I wish they sold loaves. The pastrami in my husband's breakfast bowl was great. My veggie breakfast bowl was delicious, with a hearty portion of fresh veggies like Brussels sprouts. The knish was not what I expected. It was more like a potato stromboli or potato rugelach. I struggled a lot with the rating of this restaurant- it was between a 3 and a 4 star experience. The prices were a little steep for us - the rugelach at 2 dollars a piece is pretty steep and so are the sandwiches. The service at the front counter was a little iffy - not horrible but we didn't get on with the man at the counter too well. One thing we were a little bummed about is that we both ordered items off the menu that explicitly came dressed but we received them dry - only to realize that after we had Ubered back downtown. The quality of the meats and everything else in our food was phenomenal, the matzo soup was good, and the pickles were good. We were just hoping for a little bit more for the nearly 50 bucks we spent here. I secretly don't want people to find out about this place because I want the lines to be manageable. The team here has mastered the Pastrami. I just moved here from Cali and grew up on the Langers Deli #19. The 18+1 no toasted bread is an homage but also a student beats teacher type scenario. If you like thick cut pastrami, this is your jam. If you like chewy rye bread, this place has got it. Add in Russian dressing, coleslaw and Swiss, and you are eating a face melting sandwich. I seriously hope the people at Langers don't read this because I feel like I am cheating on my childhood sweetheart. We were lucky enough to find a table - be warned, this will not be likely for you if you go there for lunch - the place had a line almost out the door! Both my sister in law and I enjoyed the Pastrami sandwich (we both agreed it was a bit on the pricey side ($12) - but GOOD). I had the #18+1. I highly recommend this choice. Super tasty! We decided to check out the Rino area and all of the murals, and picked this place after checking yelp ratings. It did not disappoint. Tip: check in for a free cookie. I had a hearty turkey sandwich with avocado and bacon. The bread was awesome. It came with coleslaw, and I ordered a diet cherry soda to complete the package. The only con was that it was temporary empty when we ordered and there were no clean tables. I noticed three employees but none seemed to care that I was cleaning off my own table.
