This review is for the Denver Airport. Had a racist encounter with employees. Left a voice mail for James whom employees said was the manager. Wrote to company and haven't heard back yet. Did not give me my discount. Product offering changed for the pork green Chile soup. When I asked about a previous size I had. One employee went over to another and said that I was complaining and started making chimp noises and singing the Lion King about me. My crew member heard it and when I called it out... the same employee offered me a larger amount. I requested a refund and waiting to hear back from names regarding my complaint. Next step I will consult my airline leaders not to utilize them and Denver Airport Concessions. Very hurt and disappointed. I will never go back and delete past favorable reviews.

I've been coming here since we moved close by around 17 years ago. They have the neatest specialty foods and unique grocery items like cheeses, deli meats and seafood, not to mention fresh produce, and I live for their bakery items! Service is friendly and warm and the checkout lines, no matter how long, move quickly. Speaking of checkout lines, they have these bins next to the checkout area as you are waiting, and if you like caramels, you must grab one or three of their home made sea salt caramels. YUM. Nestled close by in the same building but with a different entrance, is their fabulous wine store. They have everything you would want for all tastes and needs. I have never not liked anything I've purchased there. And again with the service. All I do is tell them what I'm looking for, what I like and don't like, my price range, and voilá! The best wine appears. Don't pass this charming grocery store when you're on Colfax. They have a small parking lot. Due to the cumbersome and tiring road construction, I'd suggest getting here when they open. There is a limited amount of neighborhood street parking so be courteous!

It has been quite a few years since my last review and I've been to Marczyk's many times since then, so it's probably time for an update. This is a very pretty specialty grocery that offers a good-sized parking lot and a separate, but attached wine store. The grocery includes an interesting selection of dry goods, many of which are unusual or unique. There are excellent meat and seafood departments which specialize in premium products. There's a deli which offers sandwiches and has many prepared items plus a good selection of premium meats and cheeses. The produce selection is always great and there are bakery items, dairy, and a small frozen section including made in-house ice cream. I have always found the staff friendly and helpful. Pricing is high, but this is a specialty store with a focus on premium products.

The Marczyk location in the Denver Airport is so good! Amazing hot turkey pesto sandwich. Christine at the bar offered us water and gummy bears while we ate our sandwiches. What a sweetheart!

This is a very mild but flavorful spice that is unique to France.

I took a chance on finding a hard-to-find spice here unavailable at regular grocery stores. BINGO! I found imported ground Espelette Pepper from France! Thank you Marczyks!

Curated That is the word that comes to mind when describing Marczyk Fine Foods. Marczyk is a small local store selling the best of the best. From their meats, cheeses, grocery items all are unique and interesting. The small wine and liquor extension carries things you will not find at the big box stores. Are they priced like Walmart....like WTF?? No you pay for a curated experience with a wonderful ambiance. If you have ever visited Bi-Rite Market in San Francisco you will know what I mean. Me? I am a sucker for places like Marczyk....and for the amount of folks shopping there I ain't the only one. I will be back for their chacuterie and a specialty sandwich. Great store. Great service Great products Support the Local guy!!!

I absolutely love coming here with zero list or idea of whatcha need and the store guiding me! Every time I come in, I find a new gem. Sometimes it's a new hot sauce, bread, soup, or something totally else! Everyone working here is so friendly and ready to answer any questions you may have!

We purchased a porchetta from Marczyk about 2 weeks ago. I was a little nervous about roasting it but it turned out fabulous. The flavors were phenomenal -we couldn't stop eating it. Extremely tender and worth trying it. I would purchase again for a dinner party. Thank you Marczyk's for challenging me and my taste buds! Jane K-W

The prime rib was for my birthday dinner so my husband left his phone number with them. He received a call later that day asking if the prime rib should be fresh or frozen. We went together for pick up. The person who helped us when through the entire smoker bundle to show us the contents and then got the rib roast. Everything was well packaged and arranged. Even though it was the Friday before a religious holiday, and many folks were picking things up, it did not take long for us to get our order, pay and be on our way. Celebrated a big business success recently and decided to go whole hog (is that even a saying these…read moredays?:) on a dining-extravaganza. Decided on A5 because 1) it's got some great appetizers / starters, 2) love the servers there, and 3) was in the mood to chow down on a hunka-chunka serious steak, and for the first time get a tomahawk slab o' beef that I had seen before on the A5 menu. Came in early on a Thursday night (6:15 pm) so the place was losing its happy hour crowd and had not yet been swooped down on by the hip dinner crowd. A great time to go. Could not have been better. Started with their crab and shrimp dip app and Japanese milk bread, both of which are stand-out non-steak items on their menu. Ordered the tomahawk steak which is ridiculously large (over 40 ounces (10 of which is from the large rib bone)) and ridiculously good (and ridiculously expensive . . . as in like over $225), along with an order of asparagus. Loved it all. Of course, we split the steak and had no room for dessert. Brought home probably 10 ounces of meat along with some other leftovers which will give us another night of good at-home eating. Bottom line . . . wonderful experience. Pricey but they made it a true celebration for us and it was well worth it. Go. You'll have a great time there, and if you don't want to blow a bundle and its your first time at A5, check them out at happy hour. It's probably the best deal for the best HH food in Denver.

Very cool!! The food was good but not great. For the price, I'd expect something a little better but the beef tenderloin was cooked exactly the way I ordered it (complete with peppercorn crust). It was tender but maybe a bit dryer than I like for a filet. The peppercorn crust was amazing! The Saratoga chips are made in house and they are very good as well. Super crispy with the right amount of salt. We got a history lesson from one of the servers, about 10min worth of backstory about the restaurant and it was almost like dinner and a show. Parking is a bit tight if they're busy but it's downtown Denver so that's typical. Other than the price being a bit high for the quality, this place is a good time and a good meal.

This was by far the worst part of our trip to Denver... be warned. Parking: There is free parking in the back of the building. When we first walked in we were greeted and brought to our reserved tables upstairs. If you decide to try this place, get a reservation and do downstairs. There is so much more to look at downstairs! Instead, we were brought to a backroom that was much cooler(in temp) and had way less to look at... we felt "put into the corner." It was busy, and it appeared they were short staffed. It took a long time for our server to get to us. She was very sweet and I definitely felt for her, she was really trying! However, it took awhile to get our drinks, the complimentary bread came out after our appetizer and house salads... anything complimentary should come out right away. The food: We got the Rocky Mountain oysters and I actually thought they were good! The cocktail sauce is very tomato forward and the "horseradish sauce" was a joke! There was absolutely no flavor and I am convinced it was just sour cream! If you do order these, ask for their ranch- it was dill flavored and delicious! The house salad was good But wet... like I had water on my plate. If you want a Caesar Salad it will cost an extra 7.50!!!!!!!!! Why!? That doesn't make any sense! The complimentary sourdough was good but the whipped butter had no taste at all... we had to sprinkle some salt on it for it to actually taste decent. We got the New York strip 16oz and the Elk steaks. The New York strip was the worst steak we have ever had! It was supposed to be cooked to a medium but was definitely closer to a medium rare. The butter on top did not have any flavor and was pointless. It had a fair amount of fat on it and the crust tasted "ashy" to us. It was expensive so we ate it, but terrible! The mashed potatoes were not mashed well! I had a whole potato in it! The veggies were mushy and overcooked. The elk steaks were actually very good! I would recommend that! The wild rice was brown rice with a few wild rice pieces... and again mushy veggies! The total price for one alcoholic drink, one bottled soda, a half order of Rocky Mountain oysters, the New York strip and elk steaks was over $200 with tip. We went to the restrooms afterwards and they were disgusting and dirty! If we are spending over $200 on a meal it better be great service, food and ambiance! This missed the mark HEAVILY! If you do feel the need to go here, get a table downstairs, make a reservation, get the Rocky Mountain oysters with the dill ranch and the elk steaks.
