Tbone

Pricey but great quality. Also turns into a wine bar in the evenings in certain days. Got the Tbone and skirt steak. Both were so juicy and flavorful.

You don't get much meat in the Mausoleum. So, we gotta get it at butchers like this place! And the store itself was pretty awesome, meats all fresh and chilling on their racks. With a wide variety of marinades, sauces and butters to accomodate any vooking curiosities. The dude who assisted us was on the money, too! He cut things to exact portions with no weighing. Then he rounded off our visit with a taste of their slow-cooked prime rib. Amazing stuff! Now the real problems are outside the store. The streets are just a mess to navigate, and everyone around here parks like a Californian. I mean, literally just stop anywhere and call it a human right levels of entitlement. We had to come from 5 blocks down because of the parking was so terrible. If they ever move, I'd support it wholly.

Traveled from LA in search of a Denver steak. The service was very helpful in advice of choice of cuts.

The eggs are so good! We have made this a weekend tradition for us. We hang next door for a hit for eats and drinks (fantastic btw) then we head next door for the weeks meats, eggs and milk. Quality products and the people are great!

Fantastic experience at Western Daughters. Was providing the protein for a dinner and provided them all of the info (number of people, our cooking level, time willing to put into the prep, etc.) and they provided fantastic advice and input to help me make the choice of what we'd be having. I truly appreciated the time they took to talk through all of the options with me and even provided the detail I needed in order to ensure I didn't turn it into beef jerky. Grabbed a couple additional market items off their shelves that all ended up being fantastic items to have in my pantry. Will happily be returning to this quality butcher shoppe for any of my future purchases.

This butcher shop is one of the best there in in the area. Great cuts of meat and nice variety of accessories to add spice to your dishes. Very knowledgeable staff and the smoked chicken wings are insane. I got a 40oz dry aged ribeye this time and the flavor was amazing. Definitely recommend this butcher shop.

Wheat Ridge Poultry and Meats is your local connection. We visited a few weeks ago and went in separately with our masks. Forgot yours? They offered masks and antibacterial disinfectant right at the door. So thoughtful! The staff were great and super helpful. They offer everything at reasonable prices and had a few things (like jalapeno seasoned bacon, hatch chili bacon and keto bacon, ya'll) that we'll be back for again and again. They offer fresh eggs and source most, if not all of their meats and produce locally. They work with local farmers and ranchers who treat their animals humanely, grow organic produce and don't use antibiotics, hormones and GMOs (check out their website for more details). Ice cream - they're sporting Little Man ice cream flavors and the cheese curds are also local - Cream City Cheese Curds. And.... I can't wait to pick up The Village Pie Maker pies next time we're there. Such a great find! Go.... go now!

Coming from an Italian family, I am well versed in Italian sandwiches. Carmine Lornardo's the real deal! We ordered the 24" Carmine Italian. Every bite was as good as the last. My dad struck up a conversation with Carmine, who was working behind the counter as he does every day, just as his dad (according to him). We sat down at one of the 4 tables to enjoy our sandwich which was pre split for us. As we were finishing up and the lunch crowd was slowing a bit but was still steady, when Carmine stopped at our table to chat with my dad. He told us an amazing story of how their sausage and pepper sandwich was featured in Food & Wine magazine and how he found Put about it. A true Italian man living in his owned world, he was not familiar with the magazine. But that put them on the food seen. He then brought my dad his famous sausage and pepper sandwich, on the house! We came back later that week and ordered pasta with sausage and sauce for dinner which he provided as part of their dinner to go series. If I lived closer, I would never be cooking, I would just be at Carmine's for lunch and dinner! Don't sleep on this authentic Italian restaurant with old world charm.

We were on our way up to red rock and wanted to grab some lunch for the tailgate. We ordered the French dip and the special #5 cutlet sandwich as well as Mac salad and black and white cookie. The sandwiches are expensive but big. The French dip was $13.99 and the special was $18.99 for an 8in. Our meal ended up being around $60 for two sandwiches, a Mac salad, chips and two pastries. The mac salad was very good and tasty but the sandwiches were a total disappointment. The French dip lacked ANY flavor even a bit of salt would've gone a long way. When we dipped it in the au jus, it still lacked any flavor. We ended up only taking a few bites then tossing it and moving onto the #5. Both sandwiches were incredibly soggy and we maybe ate them 20 minutes after getting them. Taste was decent with the cutlet sandwich but oh my heartburn. We both had heartburn the entire duration of the concert. Just a disappointing experience after spending so much money.

First, the happy hour oyster deal is quiet amazing. On the surface, it might seem expensive, but you get to pick any east or west coast oyster on their menu. The other items on the happy hour menu are also delicious, and the French dip is one of my favorite here in Denver. The steaks are also well cooked here, and the various sauce options are delicious. The Thai chile, chimmichuri, and bordelaise are must try! The sides are also great. Finally, service is quiet impeccable here. The wait staff is incredibly attentive and welcoming. The service was warm and friendly as well as efficient and helpful! The charm and experience was amazing too! I've had all the meats we sampled in the shared board before and all were done well. The real star of the night for me food wise was actually the soup of the day a green chili cauliflower soup! It was so good my son took part of my bowl. As I mentioned we did the shared meat experience and I found everything to be cooked properly. The quail was actually really flavorful too. The kids chicken sandwich was bland but fine. My kids loved the desserts too and they were kind enough to even split one of them on separate plates! A nice worker stopped and told us a fun ghost story that was fun and got our youngest to go walk around upstairs.
