Went here before a flight for breakfast. Got seated pretty quick and got coffee and water. Order the biscuits and gravy with eggs and potatoes. This was a leisurely Saturday morning breakfast with our college student home for the weekend. We were a bit later in the morning and after welcoming us we were seated right away. The place was bustling with activity but not over crowded. My husband ordered the bacon cheddar corn bread with whipped honey butter for the table. This was quite tasty. I would get that again. I got my coffee as I am the only coffee drinker in the family. I like that they put a pot on the table. My daughter went with the Belgian Waffle. It came with a mixed berry compote a dusting of powdered cinnamon sugar and a scoop of the same honey butter we had with our cornbread. My husband chose the SoCal Breakfast Hash. This included bacon, grilled chicken breast, black beans, pickled sweet peppers and cheddar-jack cheese in a potato hash. It was topped with two eggs that he got sunny side up, avocado slices, pico de gallo, Cotija cheese, scallions and jalapeño crema. There was so much going on in this dish. It also came with two warm tortillas. He enjoyed it and even took a portion home for the next day. I got the BLT Benedict. I love a good benedict and this did not disappoint. There were two poached eggs on top of toasted ciabatta with bacon, sliced tomato, avocado and lemon-dressed arugula and smothered with hollandaise. It was served with lemon-dressed mixed greens. Each bite was delicious. I love having a side salad with a breakfast so the mixed greens were a perfect accompaniment. We all enjoyed our meals. Im usually not fond of chain restaurants because their quality tends to be on the lower end, but First Watch does a great job of making you feel like you're going to a local joint. Service was pretty good, I just took a bar top seat. I ordered an omelette and it was made to order however the eggs were kinda rubbery, other than that everything else was delicious. The ice latte I got was their seasonal mint chocolate latte with cold foam on top. Superizingly mint and coffee went well together, really loved the addition of the cold foam and chocolate liquor. I've been eating at FW for 20 years, first in Florida and more lately in Denver and they are an excellent chain and very well run. I remember coming here when it used to be Chili's. The owners of First Watch did a great job of redoing this space. The interior space is beautifully decorated with plenty of natural light and a very nice bar area. We stopped by for Saturday brunch, and it was decently crowded. Only had to wait 15 minutes to get seated. Taylor was our waitress and she was great! We tried the Chickichanga, Florida French Toast, and Plain Pancakes. Each dish was flavorful and fresh. Will have to come back to try other dishes and drinks! Highly recommend visiting First Watch for a great dining experience. read more

We were also seated immediately despite arriving late morning on a Saturday - it's bigger than it looks! Seating was comfy (plush chairs?!) and nicer than you'd expect One complaint: it's weirdly loud given the vibe. Some sound dampening would work wonders. This a new location and my current favorite. We arrived after the lunch rush and were seated immediately. Wasn't as crowded as it deserves, but it was 1pm. I tried the breakfast tacos and will order again. I usually have the farmhouse skillet but I need to cut down on the carbs. The tacos are perfect with egg, sausage, avocado and pico. My wife prefers the Benedicts. Price is reasonable if you can resist the Bloody Mary, which I cannot. So add a little more there. Service is friendly and fast. I'm happy that First Watch opened in Applewood, replacing the old Chili's. The new restaurant is beautifully decorated and very bright. There are plenty of parking spots outside. We had a lovely server named Brittany, who was knowledgeable about the menu and very nice. I ordered the biscuits and gravy which I love especially because they use turkey sausage. I tried the million dollar bacon for the first time, and they were delicious, crispy, and sweet from the maple syrup. I wish there were more dairy-free items on the menu for my son (like pancakes), but I know most breakfast places have limited options. He was really only able to eat unbuttered toast with jam, meat, potatoes, and fruit. They charge extra for real maple syrup, but it comes in a small, cute sealed jar that you can take home afterwards. The potatoes were a little salty, but everything else was fresh and tasty. I will definitely come back to this location because it's nicer, bigger, and maybe not yet as crowded as the Lakewood one. Looking forward to trying other foods on the menu. read more

First watch as a whole is a great chain. This location consistently make raw pancakes. I have given this location so much. Feedback on request fully cooked pancakes and it goes on deaf ears. The bacon was also cold and taste like rubber. It looks like day old rubber. This is the 8th incident and really hope they figure it out someday. read more

The food was great per usual. The woman who took our order was lovely and super patient, considering we had 6 people ordering quite a bit! But the girl who brought our food out was not as patient or kind. She loudly repeated our order when no one claimed the plate, because we were trying to clear off the table that had not been cleared of our 3 orders or million dollar bacon. I found it a little rude and honestly unnecessary considering we had 3 empty plates that could have been cleared before our main dishes came out! I placed an order on the Applewood Village website for delivery to our Wheat Ridge office. I am in Fort Collins coordinating. The Door Dash delivery person failed to deliver the food and unfortunately didn't speak English. I tried to communicate with the driver, and was ghosted. I called the Applewood Village First Watch to have them remake the order and they did so with kindness and professionalism. Ambiance is great, very bright cool location! But food is mid and we've gone back twice which is a bummer because the first watch other places is awesome. The bread was too thick, everything was really bland. It didn't come with what it was supposed to or what we thought it would, which the waitress kindly replaced, but just not as good as other first watchs we've been too. We ordered to go this morning and it's just okay. At other first watches they send you with the homemade jam, they don't do that here they send you with like a plastic premade one. They also didn't seem to toast the toast and put a LOT of butter on it. Farmhouse hash had barely any meat. Drinks are good though! read more

A friend asked me recently to meet her at the one on Youngsfield. The food was less than average, the prices high and the wait staff is not attentive.
