I was hungry and decided to stop here because it was the closest to my hotel. We were greeted right away and they told us to sit anywhere. Our server came to us right away with menus and took our drink order, then gave us a few minutes to decide. I ordered their classic breakfast, which came with two eggs any style, choice of sausage patties or links, hash brown, breakfast potatoes, whole wheat, gluten free, or sourdough bread. I was headed to Breck for a day of snowboarding and wanted a breakfast burrito that wasn't far off the beaten path of 285. Primo's came up and I decided to give them a try. I had the bacon breakfast burrito and my daughter had a breakfast sandwich. Both were on the pricey side of things but it seems to be a growing trend. There must be a way to blame it on covid! Was heading up 285 over the weekend, checked Yelp for breakfast spots and found Primo's with good ratings so decided to check them out. Smaller, family run diner serving up breakfast and lunch items all day long. Ordered one of their standard breakfast plates along with an order of carnitas tacos. Food was out fast and hot and both plates were great. The carnitas could have used some additional spices, but their home made hot sauce had a good kick and leveled things up more. They also have an interesting burger on the menu with PB, strawberry jam, and a jalapeño relish which for some reason sounds good to me. If you're heading up to the hills, definitely stop in and check them out. read more

I wish I took pictures! But the food is just so good I can't think about anything other than getting it in my belly! They currently have handmade tamales!!! You get 3 and a drink like just $12!! To me that is a great deal for the mountains!! I got all pork earlier this week and they were hot, tasty and made to perfection. The masa was seasoned just right and so was the pork. Next time I will try the chicken. I can't wait to go back for more. This place makes the most amazing food for a little place in a little shopping center. It's tucked right next to a liquor store. You could miss it, if you blink! They always have the food ready for take out when ordering online. Friendly too! I highly recommend this place if you are passing through Kings Valley. read more

The waitstaff and food are incredible. This place has become a staple of where I can eat breakfast. The food is always good, especially the homemade chorizo. The waitstaff are always polite and friendly! Portion sizes are huge. After eating breakfast, I do not need to eat the rest of the day. read more

Happened to stop in for breakfast on our way home from the mountains. Food is incredible!! Presentation is beautiful!! We were so impressed by how much food was on each plate. Everyone around us was also visually and vocally impressed by their plates too! Great spot for breakfast/brunch. Ambiance I believe is still being worked on. While we were there, they a were getting their outside signage put up! Both my bf and I said we would come up from Denver just to come back for another weekend brunch. read more

I live right down the street from this place and wanted to love it.. I've tried three times and I can't go back. All breakfast entrees are around $20, which is fine with me.. however, they use cubed ore-ida potatoes and the cheapest possible ingredients in every dish I've tried. The food tastes like it came from a middle school cafeteria. The service is ok, the place is run by a family and all of the employees are their kids, and it's painfully obvious that they've never run a restaurant and they're still figuring everything out.. but they're pretty nice. If you want a side of something the person up front will have no idea how much it costs or how to ring it up, and has to get someone from the back to show them, for example. read more

Primo's is such a great spot! The food is delicious, staff are friendly and efficient, and it's just a lovely little place. In this area, we are unfortunately not blessed with an abundance of good, well-run restaurants. That makes Primo's stand out even more. Thanks for being such a great part of our mountain community. Wanted to try this place but once I took a drink of my beverage and got a big dead fly in my mouth I lost my appetite. Makes me question their cleanliness. Pull off 285 like you're going to the "Kum & Go," and then look left for a few tables under an umbrella back in the corner, next door to Jazzercise. That's where you'll find delicious Eggs Benedict on Sat./Sun. mornings, & a Prime Rib or seafood dinner on Friday/Saturday evenings 'til 7 p.m. You'll be served by one or both of Mr. Aguilar's lovely daughters, and you'll have nothing at all that you can really complain about! read more

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this café. We have eaten breakfast there twice and it was delicious both times. The wait staff is attentive and they cater to you and your wants.
