    Chili cheese fries
    Miranda E.

I was hoping that we'd love this place because we pass it often when we hike in the mountains. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to our dreams and expectations. We each got a cheeseburger and shared a strawberry shake and chili cheese fry, and my boyfriend tried the chili cheese dog. The burgers were decent, but the bread they were on couldn't withstand the liquid and it was a bit soggy, even though we ate our food right away. The fries were great, but they were about what you'd expect from fast food chili cheese fries. The shake was just okay. It was like a cold Nesquik strawberry milk. My boyfriend ate the dog with no complaints so I'm assuming that was okay as well. We both agreed that we would eat there again if we were starving, but it's probably better to just wait until you get to town.

Hamburgers are great! Perfect drive - through snack or meal. I had the plain cheeseburger, my son had the BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger with grilled onions. Both were yummy!

It isn't great, but much better than Wendys or Quadoba. So, if you are desperate, this would be a good option.

They are consistently great, which is why you'll almost always find the place buzzing with energy. The location is fantastic--it's situated right next to Bear Creek, providing a cool, relaxing atmosphere that really captures the mountain vibe. As for the food, it's excellent across the board. The breakfast scrambles are a highlight, topped with fresh sauces and served with perfectly crispy hash brown medallions. If you like a juicy burger with incredible taste, this is the place to go. Their truffle fries were just as good. I will have to go back and try the Salmon and their signature cocktails. The only negative, and this is not the restaurant's fault, is that the parking is horrible. Luckily, we went on a weekday in the winter, so we were able to park about a block away. There are a few paid parking spots, but it will cost about $10 for 2 hours if you use the QR code on your phone. If you can get to the restaurant, it's well worth it. The staff is incredible; they will make your dining experience fun.

The food was spectacular! The brussel sprouts were the best I've ever had... finely chopped, crispy, with beautiful flavor. We had the elk burger (dirty Frenchman) and OMG!! So, so delicious! Upgrade to the sweet potato tater tots (or parm truffle fries... you can't go wrong with either). Their blackberry blitz looked amazing (my friend got it and then just added soda for refills). I've heard their salads are also phenomenal. We will be back!

The beer is excellent, which is no surprise given their reputation. We also tried the sangria, and while it was definitely way to sweet for us, but it was very tasty. We appreciated that they also have a full bar, giving everyone plenty of options. We sat at the bar and enjoyed the atmosphere while looking over the menu. One of the reasons we originally chose to stop in was because they serve Rugby Scott beef. Rugby Scott is our favorite butcher in Denver, so seeing it on the menu immediately caught our attention. We ended up ordering the Italian beef sandwich. The flavor was very good, and the au jus was especially tasty. My only complaint was the size. For the price, it felt very small. We also ordered the Caesar salad with grilled chicken. The salad itself was fine and dressed well, but it didn't really have that classic Caesar flavor I was expecting. The bigger issue was the chicken, which was so dry that it crumbled in my mouth and had me reaching for my water between bites. Despite a couple of misses, we'd come back for the beer and the Rugby Scott burger.
