This place has been a great local shop until recently. I have to guess it's from the lack of help available. Hope they can return to normal soon. Last 4 orders have been way off. This is not my first time visiting Cruiz'in while traveling through Bailey but it is the most memorable. I was the only car pulled up to the menu where you order, and I could hear people on the speaker talking and giggling in the distance. After sitting there for about 5 minutes, saying "Hello" a few times, I drove up to the window. Finally one of the girls comes and opens the window, not wearing gloves or a mask. She just goes "sorry about that" and says nothing else. I have to ask if I can order food before she takes my order. The window open again and another girl tells me my total and grabs my card wearing the greasiest gloves, and just goes "sorry my hands are so gross". She closes the window, swipes my card, and when she hands it back she says "sorry I can't take them off or your card could get contaminated. I'd give you a napkin but..." and just holds her greasy glove hands up as if that's a reasonable thing to do. Finally, when the first unmasked girl hands me my order, I asked her if my combo came with a drink. She said "It can... did you want a drink?" Very strange experience. 2 stars cause the food is good. read more

For what this place is, it's amazing. A lil ol trailer diner style drive up. We were starving so we needed to eat and figured next place we see! This was it. It's my kind of burger, I'll tell you that! Cheap and delicious with all the condiments nice lettuce, onion and one of the best slices of tomato I have had in a while. Amazing fries, as other reviews mention. Perfectly fried and seasoned. They don't even need the hunts ketchup, which yes, hunts is still in business. No grey poupon here... It all tastes good but you can definitely tell some things are better than others... Hot dogs were good but the chili was kinda weak... Great service and classic vibe. May update to 5 stars after I try their breakfast! read more

We love their fish sandwiches! However, after waiting for 10 minutes and pushing the drive through button repeatedly, we left. But we called to see if they were closed or the button didn't work. Apparently it was just that they didn't want the business. The teenagers on duty could care less and brushed us off. Well their attitude was enough to make us want to take our business elsewhere. ANYWHERE ELSE! We'll drive 7 more miles to Sonic where management wants our business. read more

I've driven by this odd looking drive thru several times but hadn't tried it till I recently moved to the area. I thought I'd finally give it a try. It is great for what it is -- a rural mountain drive-thru. I'm a big fan of the fries -- even if I drive home before eating them (about 15 miles), they are still crispy (they might be cold, but that's my fault for waiting so long to eat them). They also have great flavor -- not too salty. The entrees I've tried have been really good. Not the best I've ever had, but certainly better than your run of the mill fast food place, and to top it off, it's very reasonably priced. I easily eat there for less than $10 and feel full. The service both times I've been has been really friendly. And I LOVE the fact that they have treats for my dog, who goes with me everywhere. I don't know that this is a place to go out of your way to visit, but if you're in the area, give it a try! It's worth it. read more

I love Cruz-In! In an area where restaurants of any kind are few & far between, I really appreciate a local drive thru with awesome burgers. Their fries are awesome, I don't know what they do to them, and frankly I don't care-- just don't ever change them! Don't forget to get a shake while you're there, let me recommend a small (a small is really plenty) Butter Pecan shake. AMAZING. I've also had their bacon breakfast burritos (no green chile), chili dogs, chicken salad sandwich, and tuna sandwich. Everything I've had there has been great. The chicken & tuna sandwiches are specials but I would cry tears of joy if they made either one a regular menu item. read more

If a pre made egg breakfast burrito is what you're in to, this still isn't the place for you. I think the only thing I liked here was the salsa because it was from a can. Eggs tasted microwaved, very bland flavors, have no idea how this has 4 stars. Sorry guys but it takes hardly any time to make fresh eggs, that would really change this review. read more

After sitting on 285 for 4 hours because i70 was closed, we noticed this spot, looked like a hole in the wall and didnt want to pass up. Best decision I ever made. The lady was nice and kind to us. Onion rings were ok and fries tasted like it was mixed with the fish oil, but 10/10 will eat here again fam, if I ever pass through this town again. read more

The food is really good diner food. We love that they always offer our dogs treats, really is a great touch. What I don't understand is don't they want to make money? We pulled in at 7:01pm on the Friday of 4th of July weekend, HWY 285 was packed with potential customers, and the high school kid working told us they closed at 7. I don't get it? We had to go down the road to spend our money. I would give 5 stars if they had summer hours or were open until at least 8pm. read more

This place is pretty good, definitely a step up from "fast food" which I try to avoid, but I had driven by here a few times and decided to check it out. I got a mushroom/Swiss burger and onion rings. Our family loves the food here. We typically get the take and bake pizza every Friday night and have never been disappointed. The dough cooks all the way through consistently and it is always loaded with our favorite ingredients. They never skimp and will tell you straight out when you order if they are low on anything. My husband and son like their fish burger and I am a huge fan of the bean burger. They have a variety of vegetarian and meat dishes. The onion rings are big and crunchy and the fries come out crispy, definitely consider loading them up with chili and cheese. Portions are on the large side and food is always hot. read more
