    Bloody Mary
    Brenda W.

Started with a spicy bloody Mary, asking for celery and getting it. It was a decent Bloody Mary. Ordered a baha burger with bacon, cheddar cheese, and an aioli sauce with a side of tater tits. The only hiccup in service was something on their end of the order not going through so service lagged. However, they noticed, came and told us the issue, and offered free chips and salsa while we waited. I truly do appreciate staff that admits a snaffu and deals with it. The burger was perfection with that slight charred taste.

This feels like I'm buying an airline ticket with all their added service fees !!!a PIF charge ??whatever the hell that is ...and "kitchen surcharge" ....are you guys going to charge me extra for watching the TVs too? I won't be back.... guys aren't gonna put up with this BS.

    Spinach Dip

Visited Brooks Tavern for dinner last night and it wasn't the best but also not the worst. For starters, our service was good! I enjoyed the Nachos & spinach dip the most! The waygu burger was not my favorite. It was a little overdone and slightly cold. It seemed like it was sitting out for a bit before they served it to us. Parking is very easy as it's in a plaza with other business' so there are plenty of spaces! This would be a great place to visit to watch a sports game and have a couple of drinks!

decent spot with food that satisfied our hunger. Would come back for what we got! Elk sausage was great!

I had this Sammie at the house... a couple of hours after lunch. THE BEST COLD FRIES I HAVE EVER HAD! Crispy-crispy... crunchy perfectly seasoned. I can only imagine what they would be like fresh. The Sammie is grilled... I believe with some salted butter. Amazing. 4 stars only because I did not go in.

    Open faced sandwhich

The service was great, our waitress was very sweet. This is one of the only sports bar type restaurants in the area, which can be fun for game days. The food was very under whelming, bland, and over priced. We had the pretzel bites which came out hot and the cheese sauce was good. These were the star of the meal. The open faced sand which didn't really have much flavor and could really use a side of roasted carrots or some sort of vegetable to compete the dish. It really didn't make sense to me why this single dish didn't come with a side when it's meat, mashed potatoes and a slice of bread. For the price I was really expecting something tasty. While I may come back for a beer to watch games, I don't think I'll order anything other than appetizers again.

There are TVs everywhere, and the sound is loud and even pumped into the bathrooms. That said, it's an odd setup all the way around. We showed up on a Saturday night during the NFL playoffs and found the first-floor bar area to be packed. As others have mentioned, it feels very tight and cramped downstairs. Nobody greeted us, and honestly, we couldn't find anyone who wasn't running around crazy, so after taking a pass around the bar, we took the stairs to the second-floor game room, which was also packed. Nobody to ask there either, so we continued to wander. We found a little side room with four tables and two TVs that was empty. I found someone walking by, asked if the section was open, they said it was, so we sat down. A little while later, a waitress came by to take our orders. We each tried a house lager but decided on a pint each of the Avalanche. Not starving, we ordered the $10 nachos so we'd have something to nibble on while drinking and watching football. Beers came out a little while later, and then we waited. Eventually, a group of four Bears fans came in and sat down at a table near us. A little while they ordered. Not long after that, their food came. They noticed the surprise in that theirs came out before ours did. We mentioned to the server, and he went to go check. Then our waitress (who we didn't see too often) swung by. Then a guy who may have been the manager, swung by. Eventually, our nachos came out. The manager came back by, apologized again, and offered a free dessert to make up for it. I will say, the nachos were really large and quite good. A good deal for $10. Would definitely get them again. We finished our food, the manager came by again, and talked about the dessert options. My wife went with the hot brownie sundae. Looking forward to that, we were then disappointed again when the manager came by a little while later to let us know they were out of both brownies AND vanilla ice cream. How does that happen? He offered an alternate dessert, and after my wife declined, he said he'd take the $10 nachos off the bill. At least that's what she thought he said. When we got the bill, it showed only a $5 credit. Oh well. I wasn't going to make a big deal about it, but again, disappointment. I'm guessing we'll give them another shot at some point, as we did see a few things on the menu that looked good. I heard there's a third floor restaurant that will open at some point. I never found stairs to get up there, but they're around somewhere. It wasn't a particularly relaxing experience, and as of now, it doesn't have that cozy, neighborhood sports bar vibe. We'll see how it gets broken in during years to come.

Fried at the perfect temp it's not oily, just juicy deliciousness. And OH MY WORD can you say pepperoncini aioli!! Yes please!!! But wait, there's more- dress the whole thing with a spicy, vinegary slaw and you have the sandwich of my dreams. Seriously, this is the first time I've encountered this sandwich in Denver and I'm so happy I did. We also tried to pulled pork sandwich which was nice but a little on the lean side. I almost wonder if they're shredding pork tenderloin for the pulled pork because it did miss that fatty gooeyness of a pork shoulder But very tasty. Yeah I'm sure the fries are hand cut, tasty "mom" fries (like moms kitchen). Maybe not super crispy, personal preference, but who cares, because again, pepperoncini aioli! I'm not sure the cocktail program is quite dialed in yet. The drinks sounded great but lack balance possibly because they're being served in a pint glass instead of a rocks or a Collins glass where I think they would benefit from not trying to make up extra volume with mixer. Lots of great beer choices Service was excellent. Staff was friendly. We would definitely go back. Monday is all day happy hour, Sunday They do NFL specials and they have a normal happy hour from 3:00 to 6:00 and live music on the weekends.
