We had been wanting to try this spot the last two times we were in town, but they always close early. We finally made it in for a quick bite, but overall it was a disappointing experience. On the positive side, the staff was friendly, service was fast, and the outdoor area was nice. However, paying nearly $70 for two burgers and fries felt way overpriced for what we got. The burgers were very greasy with little flavor. They also advertise ice cream, but it turns out they only sell pre-packaged items. To cap it off, none of the food was labeled, which caused a complete order mix-up. They forgot my tomato, and because nothing was marked, I ended up with pickles on my burger. Since I hate pickles, I couldn't even eat my meal. Nice place to sit outside, but poor value and food execution after waiting through multiple trips to finally try it. read more

I walked in thinking the burgers were gonna be very affordable. The lady didn't even see us or acknowledge us when we were trying to take our order took her about five minutes to say what would you like to order. The food wait time took about 20 minutes and the food was very very overpriced. Would not recommend here. Stay away from here and save your money. Thank you. Also the burger to taste it like squirrel meat. I didn't know what meat it was the burger bun was charred and didn't taste very good. Also the fries were stale. Some of them were hot. I've driven past this place for years and finally had time to stop. Burger was decent, albeit a little overcooked, including the bacon. Lettuce could have been fresher, a little yellowed and fell out constantly. My biggest complaint is at myself for not thinking to order without the yellow mustard that comes standard. Such a pleasant find! It's a nice stop between Denver and Breckenridge. Friendly staff, dog friendly area. Amazing tasting ice creams and good coffee (the overall vibe may have also helped). We did not try the food. It is right beside a historic non dilapidated building of yesteryears train depot (I think no public access for now). Con: the restrooms can definitely be updated. read more

Right on the West side of 285 in Jefferson, there is this row of cool places to eat and shop for gifts. We stopped for coffee at this little place called Kenosha Coffee and Cones, and the nice lady said the burgers next door were not only good, but made with meat from a local ranch. I'm glad I tried the. burgers, and the fries! Delicious! This was a burger chain places WISH they could serve! The fries were perfectly cooked, and seasoned nicely. They have lot's of tables to the side of the place, and if its windy, the area in the front is sheltered by the building. Lot's of parking out back. For folks with gluten/wheat issues, they have GF free buns, which is amazing for a roadside attraction in a town that you'd miss if you blink. Next time I'm passing this way, I will stop, no doubt about it! read more

The view is amazing out here, but even better, is the plate they give you... Some of THE BEST bites I've had of a burger, the service was nice and quick. I would totally recommend going here while passing by, or going an hour out if your way to gwthere is definitely worth your time. read more

The burger was juicy and delicious. The bun was great and not a hockey puck like some GF bread. The first time I visited this place was in June 2022. The owner was serving customers. She was very friendly and the food was great. I visited again 8/17/24. This time I was served by some guy with a big beard. He was very impatient, snippy, and unpleasant. I don't know why he chooses to work here if he hates people and his job so much. I found it somewhat ridiculous that ketchup wasn't provided for free. If you want ketchup, you have to pay $.50 for a little condiment cup partially filled with it. You'll need two or three for an order of fries. I do hope the owners get this place back on track before it's too late. Start by firing the bearded guy. read more

The owner is extremely rude, always looking for a fight with customers; I witnessed two in a 30-minute span. The prices are outrageous ($14) for a tiny charred burger. And there is no service whatsoever--the dude, who claims to be "the owner" with filthy clothes and nosering, simply throws a brown paper bag at the door outside, and it's up to you to guess when it's ready. The tables are outside, around the corner, and only one is in the shade. No one cleans the tables - they are dirty with birds' poop. I wish we had driven another ten miles and had not eaten in this sty. Beats me why anyone would go there the second time. Avoid! read more

I'm pretty sure it was made of squirrel or rat and when I asked the owner for something different she exploded and started to comment on my clothes and the vehicle I was driving.
