Amazing coffee and tea! We tried the Americano and the Earl Grey tea latte. Absolutely hit the spot. Our friend is vegan and he ordered the vegan burrito and was very satisfied. Cute coffee and baked good stop, right off the main road. Thanks, Yelp, for offering a local place and helping us to avoid the coffee chains. Off the Rails gets its name from its railroad theme. I chuckled a few times at the funny signs. I loved the small touches also: choose your own cup if you're staying a while. Several folks were: some working and others enjoying their morning cuppa joe. We added a cinnamon roll and for me, it was perfect - not too sweet and really soft. Yum. Happy travels. read more

Uh oh...looks like a small town coffee place that has received great support from the community is starting to get political. I've enjoyed coming here even though the hours are pretty messed up. The coffee is good. This morning, however, I was greeted with a no nazi sticker on the front of the espresso machine. Now, I agree that there should be no nazis. Vehemently agree. But why are you trying to bring politics into the simple pleasure of enjoying a good cup of joe? Looks like it will have to be Mudslinger's or Coffee Bean N Bakery from now on. Bummer. Unless you stay true to your beginnings and get all of the politics out. If it's an employee putting political messages out there...well time to move on I think. Go woke...go broke. This place is a huge gem to the community. Great Vibes, great service, great coffee and food, and also good to the local and area fire fighters. I normally don't post reviews, but thought a 1 star review over a "no nazis" sticker was comical and signaling to some insecurities in a particular person. Luckily that person doesn't speak for the community and this coffee shop is a welcome one. Keep up the great work y'all and thank you! read more

I love coming here! The staff is super friendly and welcoming. They have good food options if you're hungry, and the coffee is fantastic. My favorite is an iced Cup of Lies. I'll usually stay and work for a bit since they have plenty of seating options, plugs for charging, and WiFi. Highly recommend supporting this local shop!!! read more

Wow, the quality of coffee is off the rails! We needed an emergency pit stop for coffee on the way to Crested Butte. Most of the coffee places we've tried along the way have fallen flat so it was a nice surprise to have something well extracted where you can taste the coffee bean notes. We got a flat white, delicious 5/5. Stroopwaffle latte, the syrup and coffee work well together and tasted excellent 5/5. We also got a burrito that was pretty good. The interior is eclectic and has a train theme. We were greeted warmly when we entered and had an overall great experience. You never know if 5 star places with under 100 reviews will pan out but if you like good quality coffee, you'll like Off the Rails. read more

The two stars are for the location and interior. The location is great, and the interior is very cute. I appreciate the free Wi-Fi and the games to play. Some music would be nice and might help make the place more inviting since the employees are sort of unfriendly. The employees (owners?) greeted us with a cold stare, and silently ignored my husband's "Goodmorning, how are you?" and seemed almost irritated that we were there, which we thought was interesting considering we were in their business trying to spend money. The drinks: we tried an iced matcha and a hot chai latte, so I can't speak for the coffee. The iced matcha was mostly just ice and about 5 sips of drink. I got half sweet half regular matcha, and the flavor was fine, not too sweet, but nothing to write home about- Starbucks matcha is better. The hot chai was just chai concentrate and milk, which was disappointing because you can make that at home for about a dollar. My husband tossed it on the way out the door. The food: they have premade bonfire burritos which I assume they microwave and then sell to you. We did not try them because we've had bonfire burritos elsewhere and weren't impressed. The pastries: they have a good selection of pastries made by a local baker, Suz Cookie Jar Rescue. Unfortunately, I have personally been in the Suz Cookie Jar Rescue kitchen and the cleanliness was not up to my very average standard so I will not be trying their products, but I can admit that the pastries looked very tasty and if I hadn't seen behind the scenes I probably would have enjoyed them. read more

Off the Rails is a wonderful addition to eateries in Bailey. It's located off 285 at 33-CR 68 so has easy access whether you're headed to/or returning from the mountains. Best coffee around. Also delicious baked goods. Eat there with its decor celebrating the old railway that ran through Bailey or take to go. Skip Starbucks. Head to Off the Rails. read more

I frequent Off the Rails for a place to work closer to home than my office in the city. the owners are friendly and dedicated to supporting local businesses including Suz Cookie Jar Rescue, Daddy's Homemade, and Bonfire Burritos. They also source their coffee from a local roaster that supports women's recovery and shelters. I always like to try different flavor combinations and they are happy to oblige. So far, my favorite is an orange and Irish cream latte hot or iced. The excellent Wi-Fi and cell service is a bonus. read more

This place is a hidden gem in Bailey! The owners are genuinely friendly people, and so knowledgeable from the history of the railroad In Bailey to their craft coffee. It's hard to find people who truly love what they do , and that is exactly what you will find here. The craft coffee is out of this world, I also tried the elderflower latte which raised my latte expectations by a mile. Not to mention they have a wide variety of fresh gluten free baked goods (that are actually good) . I truly can not sing enough praise for this coffee shop! read more

Thought I'd try the newest addition feeding my coffee addiction in Bailey! All I can say is that I'm so happy I did! The coffee is otherworldly and the atmosphere is great and the location is convenient! Ben and Kyleigh (the owners come to find out) are extremely friendly and very well versed in all things coffee! Their pastries and light food offerings are constantly rotating and all very tasty - including the Golden based Bonfire Burritos! If you're done with burnt and bland coffee and espresso from more corporate offerings and long for a more authentic coffee shop experience - Off the Rails is the go to spot! read more

This place is awesome. Friendly staff greeted me promptly and made me feel right at home. It's a cozy little spot with a mellow vibe.. perfect for a cup or 2 of delicious coffee and a sweet treat while I did some work on the complimentary WiFi. The small food menu seems to be developing so I'm happy to be patient while they find their lane in that department. They do have some amazing burritos available if you're looking for a quick lunch or breakfast. I am so happy to have this little gem close to home! Thank you..I will be back.
