Jen took the order and said she will mail it out to us when it comes in. The company didn't supply the sweatshirts for a long time, we were beginning to worry about our order. Jen assured us that is was coming or she was going to give us a refund and still send the item out when it comes in. She did just that. She gave us a refund. When the supplier finally gave her the sweatshirt she mailed it to us at no charge and gave us some helmet stickers which made my kids day, they were so happy and excited. At first glance it didn't look like much, but we were surprised to find everything on our list! This store has more than groceries and household items - like the true general stores you will find various sundry items from batteries to decor pillows to snow sleds - all at reasonable or surprisingly inexpensive prices! Need a helmet for skiing or snowboarding? I was wishing I hadn't bought my helmet (which I purchased on sale) before arriving in Colorado - here at the Colorado Country General Store, a K2 brand helmet was normally priced at $20 LESS than the sale price I paid!! Other ski and boarding gear is also available at great prices. No mountain store would be complete without Colorado souvenirs, and yes you will find these here as well. The hospitality they showed me was unbelievable. They helped me find the local 4x4 rescue, and were generally great people. I miss out back , looks like they put a weird tent up. , and poured concrete . Got rid of the back yard feel with the garden , grass, waterfall, wagon wheels. , so I was pretty bummed about that . They did however add lots of tables for dining , for their little cafe they have going on in there now . It sure has grown so that is good I suppose . They also threw one of those water mines that you can buy a bag , and search for treasures :) I haven't been here in 8 years and I can't tell if I was amazed or disappointed. Manitou I hold dear to my heart , so regardless I sure am thankful it's still here

Just didn't care for the overly chunky bits of feta cheese. Great for souvenir shopping. You could easily spend an hour or more if you have time. Theres a big outdoor area as well. I came when it was a quiet day so it was relaxing and peaceful to sit outside. Women's restroom was a bit hidden but mission accomplished.
