2 egg breakfast w/ one pancake instead of toast and a cowboy casserole
Cyrena S.

Great service, delicious and very reasonably priced food, and a cute atmosphere. Loved every part of this visit!

The experience was Ok. Definitely popular. People constantly waiting on a weekday for lunch. Service was friendly. Food, however, was a bit of a let down. While all edible, nothing was memorable.

Avocado Toast with egg

Really cute place, very rustic. It's the perfect breakfast spot for the area, decent prices for the portions and pretty good food. The people working there are really friendly too. We didn't order it but the breakfast burrito is huge!! Definitely a steal and can feed probably 2-3 people depending on how hungry you are.

Really cute place to have breakfast. I ordered avocado toast and cappuccino. Food was great. Service was great too. Fresh ingredients, nice presentation. I would certainly return if in area.

This was a disappointing meal. It came as a top rated spot on yelp for breakfast and in the local area. This was our first stopped after landing in Denver and we needed breakfast. This inside was a cute charming but freezing cold cafe. I started with an apple cider that they throw an entire cinnamon stick in. It was good but the entire cup was sticky for some reason on the outside. I ordered the build you own omelette with shredded potatoes and sourdough toast. First off the toast was not sourdough it tasted like stale white bread. I know sourdough because I have a small business at home in which I make sourdough and that was not it. The omelette was very watery and the amount of cubed ham inside was not edible. The cheese and spinach inside was not even cooked. The shredded potatoes were alright but needed so much salt to be decent. My boyfriend ordered the breakfast burrito it was horrible. The entire inside was undercooked unseasoned breakfast potatoes. There was maybe about two pieces of sausage inside and it was drowned in sauce. Conveniently all the waitstaff seemed to disappear after our food came out and we were starving so we attempted to eat about half of our horrible meals. Then trying to get a staff member to pay the bill was next to impossible as I tried to flag someone down twice and no one came to the table. It was maybe about 20 minutes before someone finally came over. Parking is a very small tight lot or paid street parking. Save yourself a trip and find a better spot for breakfast. This was such a disaster and not worth the experience.

This place is right near the red rocks amphitheater and has a unique selection of food. From grilled cheese or Mac and cheese to burritos or tacos. It took a bit for us to get seated and make sure you have your ID because they card everyone. That also delayed our service for quite a while. The place is simple and there were quite a few people both inside or using the outside seating. I ordered the Reuben and my wife had the grilled ham and cheese. The Reuben was perfectly cooked and quite good. The French fries were a unique cut and also well done. We also tried their hot sauce and I purchased the garlic Serrano which was something different and very flavorful. Certainly a good option for lunch if you're in the area.

One of our favorite spots to come while visiting Colorado. The service is great. Staff is friendly, food is delicious and the latte is fantastic. Will be back everytime!

We visited for breakfast after watching the sunrise at red rocks. It's just a couple miles away in Morrison so more than convenient. It's easy to find off the main drag, and although the parking lot is small, it's free and I had no problem getting my full size truck parked there. I had the spotted cow which was delicious, the coffee was good and we also got the omelette, which was tasty as well. The inside is kind of quaint and rustic with a lot of humorous paraphernalia on the walls, fun place for sure. Service was great and we would happily go again.

We stopped in for brunch before hiking at red Rocks. The wait wasn't too long and the patio is dog friendly! It was also enclosed and heat which was perfect for the chilly morning on the day that we went. One interesting thing here is that the service is team service so you don't have just one dedicated waiter/waitress. Food was good though and good portions!

Stopped in before heading to Red Rocks. The Bloody Mary was interesting. Very pickle forward, in a really good way! The omelet I ordered was massive. They have their own hot sauces; and they're delicious! Glad to have popped in. The cow art in the bathroom is hilarious! An added bonus for sure.

Avocado toast with cilantro and chili peppers. Yummy. Toast slices were big.

Great little diner in cute town by Red Rocks. We stopped for breakfast on our Lariat Scenic bypass loop. Service was quick. Servers were attentive. Breakfast was fast and yummy. They even had vegan options and were able to adjust a few for me. I ordered the avocado toast, oatmeal with water instead of milk. Friends ordered a jumbo pancake which was bigger than the plate and a bowl of fruit. Prices were a great especially for Denver area. Paintings of cows everywhere and some were very funny! Will make another stop next time we're in area.

Great location! Sit outside to hear the water. Great staff. Everyone was so friendly. Food was amazing! Definitely a great breakfast spot!

Berry Salad + salmon
Beatrice V.

We had just explored Red Rocks and wanted to explore the (very!) small town of Morrison and we decided to have lunch here due to the crowds. Despite the restaurant's name, we opted for a berry salad without the cheese and added salmon on it. We asked the staff about it, wanting to make sure we weren't making a mistake, and they told us the salmon was surprisingly good! And honestly, it was. We were pleasantly surprised by it. The salmon was cooked really well and the ingredients were fresh. Seems like a good spot for a burger and fries too. Really friendly customer service here!

Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and kindly answered our questions about various dishes. Food came out fast, and several staff members passed by to ask us how everything was tasting. I started off with a strawberry lemonade and it was incredibly refreshing on a hot day. The charcuterie was delicious and we enjoyed every bit of it. Fruits were sweet and the pickled vegetables were especially good. Grilled cheese and tomato soup were very good, although I've had better elsewhere - Beechers in Seattle and tomato soup in Iceland, but I know that's not a fair comparison. For dessert, we ordered bread pudding, it was yummy and the perfect end to our meal. The ambience was nice and not too loud inside. Wish I was local, so I can dine here more often. Online, you can enter the number in your party, and enter the virtual queue, which we did. Our table for four was ready when we arrived, and we were seated right away. Our server was great, good energy, and made multiple recommendations on the menu, including what may have recently changed, or been updated, on the menu. He highly recommended the strawberry margarita, noted that it wasn't sweet, and that they make all of their syrups, flavoring etc. in house, and this was a standout newer addition. He was right - it was delicious, refreshing for a hot summer day, and best of all, not overly sweet. For dinner, I had the filet, which came with a generous portion of super creamy, delicious mashed potatoes, asparagus, and the most wonderfully flavorful au jus. My steak was perfectly cooked the way I like it (medium rare). The dessert, a 'creme brûlée' was not at all your typical creme brûlée, and honestly, for me, fell a bit flat. I think it was made with some type of goat cheese, didn't have the lovely custardy/smooth consistency, volume, or depth. The fresh fruit on top was nice, but I only had a bite or so of this dessert we shared. Maybe call it something else, or alternatively, make sure when people order it they know it's non-traditional creme brûlée. Otherwise, wonderful meal, with great friends and we will absolutely be back!

We rolled up only 20 minutes before they closed and were both greeted with big smile and lots of patience - this means a lot because we knew what time it was, lol. It's a counter walk up and order kitchen, and our orders came out fast. We ordered several things, just to try a few things. Their biscuits were really good - flakey while not completely crumbling, soft, golden brown, and with a really nice flavor. My gram would've appreciated these and she could bake, lol. Of all the things we ordered, my only suggestion would be to add some sort of complimentary sauce to the bare Chapel Hill biscuit. We both took a few bites and wrapped it up, to take home so we could add some yummy sauce. The biscuit and chicken were great, just dry. My Boone (avo, lettuce, tomoto and mayo) with added bacon was tasty. Would order again for sure. Our cinnamon roll was fabulous - definitely add the frosting for a tiny upcharge. Cooked to golden brown and topped with sugared cinnamon. Yum. It's huge also, so you'll likely take some home unless this is your breakfast! Loved finding this cute place. The staff were friendly and walked us through their ordering options. You can basically build your own biscuit and/or add things to any of the their prebuilt options. And you've got coffee, juices, chais and teas. Your perfect morning awaits.
