Meh. The biggest win is that this is in downtown Golden which is such a cute town. And depending on where you sit, you'll get the town vibes which is worth some $ to just soak in on vacation. I got a chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries, which was okay. The fries needed some salt while they were warm. Daughter got the French dip sandwich which was mid, given that it was almost $30. My husband had the barbecue chicken flatbread. Overall I would choose another option unless you have the perfect table with a view.

Really enjoyed the place overall. We sat on the patio on a beautiful day and the location is great! Service was okay! The steak salad were meh, not great! There was no flavor on the steak and I didn't like the fries at all. Prices were very reasonable, and they offer 2-hour parking at the hotel, though I parked outside. Still, I'd say it's worth the experience.

Stopped in for a quick drink after coming down the hill from Black Hawk. Bridgewater Grill is located right along Clear Creek River which offers excellent views of the rushing water and tubers. Bridgewater Grille has expanded offering a lot more seating than in previous years. Staff and servers are always pleasant. As you will see in most of the reviews, the views at Bridgewater Grille are excellent, but the food and drinks are mediocre with higher end prices. Highly recommend the Happy Hour menu for better pricing, especially on the drinks.

Overall: 8/10 Food: 7/10 Service: 7/10 Atmosphere: 9/10 Value: 7/10 Great smoked Old Fashions! Food was decent and so was the service. Nothing too amazing but always a fun place for drinks/food. We elected to sit in the Lounge.

Checked this place out for a mid-afternoon snack after hiking and enjoyed a delicious barbecue chicken flatbread. We were able to sit out on the deck and listen to the sounds of silver Creek nearby, which was quite nice. We also tried their garlic Parmesan fries, which were quite good, but we did have to ask for garlic aïoli to accompany them, they were just served with ketchup by default. Asking for their Aioli sauce was definitely worth it though. It was a little bit heavy on the mayonnaise, but overall was very enjoyable.

Come for the food, stay for the service. The food was alright, more to come, but the service was some of the best we've ever had. Jeff was amazing: kind, sharp, and a true class act. We had an issue with our food not coming out correctly, but Jeff handled it so well. After the overcooked burger was sent back, he made sure we received an excellent replacement, and it turned out to be one of the best burgers we've had. Overall, the food was good, except for the two burgers that initially came out--both were overcooked and bland. So, my advice: don't order the burger. Happy Hour always makes me smile!! Monday through Friday happy hour is from 3:00.-6:00 pm. Half price starters, draft beer and well drinks special prices! The service is always punctual and friendly staff. It's just a great location in downtown Golden. I love the mussels and my dinner mate likes the barbecue chicken flat bread. Both are on the appetizer menu and big enough for a meal.

    Pancakes, chili cheese fries

From the bottom of my soul!! This was some of the best food I've ever had in my home state of Colorado. Good grief ! ‍ the chili cheese fries are diabolical. The pancakes are dangerous! The fish and chips are fresh out the ocean lol minus the fries. I truly would drive from Centennial to Golden every weekend to get the chili cheese fries and pancakes ... I know that combo makes it seem like I had the munchies but I was ultra sober lol

We were invited here for a birthday celebration. Didn't know it existed even though we live close-by. The food and service is excellent. The view of downtown Golden is nice - especially at the holidays. They can accommodate large groups. We've been back twice since our original visit!

We stopped in here after the factory tour. It was happy hour so all appetizers were $10, which was nice. They also had cheap bears. I think we each had 2 beers and a 3 slider appetizer for about $20. It was really nice inside and out (it was too windy to sit outside unfortunately). We sat at the bar (I guess you have to sit there for happy hour) and the staff was super attentive and friendly. I would recommend!

My wife and I are in town from Chicago, stopped here for dinner and sat at the bar. Our Bartender Lucas was absolutely awesome. Fun, joking and attentive to guests. He had thorough recommendations for food and drink. We even met Josh one of the chefs and had a lengthy discussion about his carrot cake which was some of the best I've ever had. He really seems to have taken alot of care in putting out good quality & it shows in how he talked about it as well as how it tasted. 10/10 recommend stopping in if even just for a drink.

I said it was the best burger I ever ate. My husband, whose hobbies include crushing joy with logic, said, "No it wasn't. It was an ordinary burger. You only think it's amazing because you almost died." Had to settle that debate, so we tried it without the kill-me-hike warmup this time. Food I don't like my burgers swimming in their own juicy filth. And these burgers are dry, juicy, beefy, and didn't almost drown in their own fat. Even the bun (brioche, I think) stayed dry as summer heat. Plus, their fries are that kind that almost seem battered. Crisp on the outside, potato-y on the inside. We also tried the deviled eggs, which was a nice update to an old classic. Atmosphere This is perfectly casual with outdoor dining (great for dogs). Big umbrellas and coverage from the summer sun. I've never eaten inside because why. Service Perfectly competent. Nobody gave us a pony. Nobody accidentally set us on fire. The food arrived quickly, while the check took its own scenic route through the restaurant. Everyone was friendly. No complaints. Value Expensive burgers at $18-22 each. But I only have burgers a few times a year, so when I do, I'm going to demand one of these from now on.

They were busy but churning tables in and out. Limited parking is available in front but we did what most were doing, parked on the side of the road across from the restaurant. It was great to see how young people (teenagers and early 20 years olds) were working at this local spot. They were also doing an amazing job being attentive. We got the tea of the Tillman drink to soothe our thirst after a hike and the summer heat. It was tart but refreshing. I have never had a drink like it before. I highly recommend trying it. We ordered chilaquiles, breakfast burrito, and the mushroom omelette. Everyone enjoyed their dishes and came away full! If you're in the area around breakfast or lunch time, stop in. They have deserts and hand pies to-go. We didn't try them but they looked delicious.

Solid 5 stars for a buffet (probably a solid 4 just as a pizza place)…read more This is our second time stopping here on vacation -- going back to Woody's was actually one of the reasons we wanted to hit Golden again. It's on the south side of the main downtown drag. It gets quite busy even at off-peak times, so there's usually a wait of some kind. Head up to the door, get on their list, and they'll call you when your seats are ready. We got a little lucky since there were only two of us and there was open bar seating -- we sat at the bar, had a beer, and did the pizza buffet from there. It's not just a buffet, either. You can order off the menu, get your own personal pizza, or do a two-slice-and-a-salad deal, which is a cheaper version if you don't want the unlimited all-you-can-eat. They also have a full-service bar with cocktails, beer, and everything else you'd want. Salad bar -- one of the best buffet-type salad bars I've found. It's not the largest -- the salad section doesn't go on for miles, it's actually a pretty small setup -- but everything is fresh and the range of ingredients is big. Fresh salads, multiple dressings, several crunchy toppings, a bunch of vegetables, black olives, peppers, and two or three different proteins to add. Really, really like it. Also included with the salad bar buffet is their beer soup -- kind of a cheese soup. I skipped it this time since I didn't want to get that full, but I've had it in the past and it's super solid. Definitely something to try on a cold day. Pizza buffet, under $20/person -- there's a window with all the pizza sitting out, usually four to six at a time, right behind where they're making and cooking them. You can walk up and request whatever you'd like -- the chefs are right there, so you can say "hey, can I get a barbecue chicken pizza?" and they'll put one together and set it in the window. The range is usually about three normal pizzas -- pepperoni, supreme, plain cheese -- and three odder ones, like a buffalo chicken or a beef barbecue cheddar. I also saw one with ricotta and prosciutto. So they're not just doing standard pies; there's a really big range to choose from. The pizza quality is good. I wouldn't call it super thin crust, and it's not super thick where the toppings are -- but the edge of the crust is a thicker, doughy handle you can grip and gnaw on, and it's very tender and flavorful. If you're a crust eater, you'll like this crust, and you can dip it in sauces or dressings from the salad bar. Service was top notch and everybody there was friendly. One thing that stood out: the bartender asked the guy sitting next to us if everything was good, and he said he was just waiting on a buffalo chicken pizza. She called straight over to the kitchen and had them cook one. They still put it out on the buffet, but he got exactly what he wanted. Pro tip: Under $20 a person might sound like a lot, but come hungry and it's a steal. I ate probably fourteen slices -- I drove down here with the intent to get full, and it wasn't a bad full. Highly suggest going, and I'd return if I find myself in Golden, Colorado again.
