OMG!! This restaurant right outside of red rocks is such a hidden gem! Everything is made fresh from scratch and all organic!! The server was soo sweet and funny. She gave us a whole breakdown of the menu and how they make everything fresh daily, she was joking around with us and always made sure our drinks stayed filled. The inside and outside were both sooo cute in their own ways. The inside of the restaurant felt like you were at your grandmothers house. The outside was so relaxing with the sound of the running waterfall. We all LOVED our meals and will be telling any and everyone who goes to red rocks that they HAVE to stop here when they're in the area.

Majestic perfection in every bite. Veggie burger with all the fixins.

Oh. My. Gourd. YES! The quality of the food is extraordinary, clearly made from scratch, skill and love. Vegan burger is quinoa and beet (vegan when ordered with sourdough - which was chewy and crunchy toasted to perfection). The pickled onions, heirloom tomatoes and mixed green toppings could be a salad in and of itself. Dredged fries are not to be missed. Possibly my best meal of 2026. Ricky D is a kind, adept and charming waiter who made the experience all the better amid a spacious outdoor patio with a water feature. Hungry Goat makes for an exceptional and memorable experience!

Host was very kind, we asked to change seating locations because we felt crowded in the first table and she happily moved us to be closer to the outdoor fountain they have, which is beautiful to look at as you wait. Our waitress was also great at giving food recommendations. She suggested locations to visit that she discovered throughout her time in Denver and gave tips on how to prepare for our first time at red rocks. We started with the baked goat cheese dip and the server immediately confirmed that it was a good choice for an app. We also got the verlasso salmon and the filet, which was the special. EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS. We were very pleased with our whole experience and would recommend to come try their food!

Super cute spot for brunch. Fresh ingredients and delicious entrees. There was definitely a wait, but there's a lot of small shops to walk around and browse while you wait. Service was great, despite them being busy and packed.

Had food here twice, consecutively. Came here in conifer last week and loved the food. Came in here as a group with kids, their menu is just so good. There are non meat options too which you'll devour. I loved their salmon specifically. The lamb chops were good as well. I think I enjoyed just about everything that I ordered. There was a lavender pear martini that I ordered with gin as it doesn't come with alcohol, that was a great drink I think! That said, the people here are so very sweet to cater the changes, our kids were just as happy as we were!

What a delicious and delightful find! Their patio is absolutely charming, a quaint little oasis with a homemade waterfall that sets the perfect ambience. The charcuterie selection was superb, beautifully curated and full of flavor. From the hostess to our waitress, every staff member was genuinely friendly and incredibly accommodating. Such a lovely experience from start to finish.

Wow! What an experience. Began walking near Hungry Goat and you start with a smell senses being aroused to come closer. We've never eaten at the location that has changed themes/restaurants over time. Feels like a home that has been transformed into a restaurant. Main restaurant is quant and the outdoor seating where we were was great in the evening with the lighting and heaters deployed. Our food was fantastic! Had clams, calamari, and libations to start! Drinks were perfect and everything was presented beautifully. The Cioppino was spot on, guest also had salmon, the tenderloin and the pok pok chicken. Each dish had a unique theme and flavor palette. We couldn't leave without giving desert a try. The pumpkin moose was amazing as was the bread pudding which for us was white chocolate with raspberry. Service was great and would definitely return.

Hungry Goat was great. The "scratch" in their name does some heavy lifting, as their underlying philosophy is to have almost everything on the menu whipped up right on premises (from scratch...get it?). The setting is pleasant, with a nice (albeit cramped) dining room and a lovely patio with some cover from the sun. And service was excellent, very friendly and attentive. I had a mocktail special, a watermelon and lemonade concoction (both made on site!) that was super refreshing. For entrees, the steak frites were calling. Each part of the dish was well executed. The salad had a subtle zest from a dressing that didn't drench the plate; the fries were crispy and full of flavor; and the steak was the right temperature and came in a balanced sauce. The portion left a lot to be desired; for $24 (as of August 2025), it felt like a half portion of hanger steak, and it wasn't the most filling entree. Maybe we ordered wrong, but other than the amount of food, everything else about the meal was excellent.

Really enjoyed this adorable little spot in downtown Morrison! We had gone hiking and needed some food before heading to a show at Red Rocks. Hungry Goat was the perfect place to stop! The drinks were really good. I had their specialty old fashioned and was impressed. My wife had a glass of the sparkling rose and it was pretty good. The cheese and charcuterie board was really diverse and well put together with accompaniments. My wife enjoyed the chicken and I really liked the quinoa dish. The s'mores dessert looked amazing! Next time, I'll try it. The patio looked so fun, but it was raining when we went. There's a really cool waterfall feature that made a nice sounds as we ate. The service was perfect, efficient and friendly. I'll be back!

We stopped here on a Saturday early afternoon after a ride at Lair o the Bear. Parking is a bit difficult to find. You utilized the town parking (paid) outside of a handful of spots at the restaurant. We sat outside which didn't have much air flow but was a nice area. There was a ceiling fan - we asked them to turn it up but they did not. We also asked the server to leave the water bottle at the table versus filling our glasses, since we were thirsty and were going through it quickly. He said that he can't leave it because then they have to wash them between groups but that he would be sure to keep the glasses full. He did not... The brunch menu was the offering at the time. One friend had the omelette. It had bacon, peppers, onion and it was huge and looked delicious-if you like omelettes. It came with some home fries and small side salad of just greens. Another had the veg-quinoa burger and said it was good. Another had the burger and said it was decent. Another had the French toast and did not think it was worth getting I ordered the grilled avocado salad and added chicken. The amount of greens in my salad was not much more than my friends side that came with his omelette and the salad was $16 with another $10 for the chicken. I am not sure if there would have been more greens if there wasn't chicken. Either way, it had good flavor and the chicken did as well but not for $26.

Had been wanting to try this place every time we drive through Morrison -- glad we finally stopped. What I found was a cool place that makes everything in house "scratch." Exceptional wine list too! Yes the name says it all --Scratch and wine - perfect. Inside the place is inviting with rock walls and open aired dining --perfect for a spring day, especially with all the blooming fruit trees nearby. Service was great. Shawn took care of us with solid recommendations and prompt service. The charcutier board was wonderful - meats and cheeses- along with some pickled items and lots of fresh fruit. The grilled cheese sandwich was perfectly grilled. Shrimp and grits were a hit. Finished with the beignets covered in confectioner's sugar that melted in our mouths and topped with hot chocolate and fresh strawberries. What a satisfying meal. A beautiful patio, fresh air, fresh food, friendly service The Hungry Goat provided a wonderful experience.

Atmosphere is great on the patio. The food is delicious. I recommend the apple salad! Deserts & cappuccino capped our meal off nicely

We popped in here early before a concert at Red Rocks. The service was prompt, and the atmosphere was casual. We sat outside on the patio beside a beautiful water fall and garden. Had a delicious Chech style Pilsner to cool down followed by an excellent GSM paired with Steak au Poivre. That steak was a perfectly crafted dish. The meat was cooked perfectly and served atop creamy mashed potatoes and a green peppercorn sauce, finished with crispy fried onions on top. Highly recommended.

I love huckleberry and will always get it if available and this did not lead me astray. We started with crab dip which was a hit even with our baby. For the mains, my husband got the meatloaf platter and was obsessed. I had their specialty burger (a mix of beef and elk) that included arugula, goat cheese, jam and some onions - also top notch. The unquestionable star of the show was the barchetta- it was a big piece of their crust, stuffed with ricotta cheese, spinach, mozzarella, and garlic. I could have eaten this for breakfast lunch and dinner for the rest of my life. It came with marinara sauce but it was totally unnecessary. The Italian margarita also had a strong rosemary flavor that was interesting and different with the sweetness of the margarita flavors. The martini was excellent too. The montepulciano wine was a bit dry but totally drinkable. The saporita pizza didn't come with cheese, which we thought was just... standard on pizza? If the sauce and the crust weren't so stellar, it would have been an issue, as it was it was fine but worth noting. It looks like we could have added cheese had we asked. Our server was sweet, upbeat, and checked in the perfect amount of times. I really adored the use of wine bottles throughout, especially at the bar. So pretty and right on target for a wine bar. Highly highly recommend, and will be back to try the rest of the menu.

The vibe is classic cozy steakhouse--dim lighting, comfortable booths, good for a casual night out. We kicked off with the shrimp cocktail, which was good: decent-sized chilled shrimp with a tangy cocktail sauce. Asked for extra raw horseradish to really make it pop! The new bread offering was much better. Super-soft sweet rolls were an upgrade over the previous offering. For mains, we tried the ribsteak (bone-in) and the sirloin with mushrooms and truffle from the Winter Grill menu. Both were cooked to our requested temps (medium-rare), juicy enough, and the grilling was competent with a nice char. The ribsteak came with sautéed mushrooms that added some nice flavor. The sirloin featured cremini and shiitake mushrooms in a creamy truffle sauce, which was rich and indulgent--the sauce was probably the best part of the plate. That said, the quality of the meat itself felt a bit questionable; it was tender but lacked the deep, beefy flavor or marbling you'd hope for at this price point. More disappointingly, there wasn't much discernible difference between the ribsteak and the sirloin in terms of taste or texture--both felt pretty similar, which made the higher-priced ribsteak seem less worth it. We finished with the Billy Miner Pie, a classic here: mocha ice cream on chocolate cookie crust, topped with hot fudge and caramel. It's rich and satisfying--definitely a highlight of the meal. Our server was friendly and efficient, no complaints there, and the place wasn't overly busy. Overall, it's a reliable chain steakhouse option if you're in the area--good enough for what it is, but the main reason we come here is proximity. Solid, but room for improvement on the star of the show: the steaks.

The venue itself had a good ambiance, though the sports bar like atmosphere somewhat detracted from the fancy a steakhouse experience. And the bread is amazing! Our read through of the menu was a bit confusing particularly between the a la carte steaks vs classic. Classic just means you pay more for veggies and a salad. We asked for prime rib but they were out. We got the 10oz filet medium rare instead. It came out nearly blue. They did take it back to correct it and it was better the second round though probably closer to medium by that point. It definitely needed a steak knife to get through which was a bit unexpected at this price point. They forgot both the mushrooms and the salad. The veggies we did get were bland and smothered in oil and barely cooked through. And the fries were very average - I would have expected steak fries or something not reminiscent of fast food fries. After bringing all this up, we did get our bill discounted a little but I don't feel like there will be a return visit after this experience.
