$20-30 I hate to give this place two stars because I was really enjoying my experience, all the way up until our pizza arrived. It's really a great spot. There's an outdoor garden with plenty of shade. There's indoor sitting as well if you prefer. The service was excellent! The bartender was extremely knowledgeable and let us sample a few beers before we made our selection. We were really in the groove. Enjoying our carefully selected beers, exhausted and hungry, we anxiously awaited our food selection. We decided that we would share a hand tossed, oven fried pizza, ( well that's the image we had in our imaginations). I was already planning on what to drink next, since my first yummy beer was crunching my thirst and hunger at the same time. And then it happened. Our pizza arrived. Right away we could tell it was a frozen pizza, but not the new fancy kinda frozen pizza, you know the ones that are, "not too bad for a frozen pizza", pizza. Excellent customer service. The people working here were so kind and friendly! We sat outside in that beautiful day and played games and got drinks beers ciders and pizzas and it was a lot of fun! Everything was tasty and priced right! The inside is nice as well. But there is plenty of space both inside and outside of the restaurant. I've wanted to shop here for several years but parking in Morrison is a nightmare and a parking spot is a rarity. Today, as happen chance would dictate, there was an open spot right in front of the entrance. We parked and went inside. We were met by an extremely helpful and friendly bartender named Brian. He gave us a run down of the menu and gave us a sample of their own micro brew called Kolsh. Normally, I dislike micro brews as they are typically just too strong in taste. Too much wheat or fruit or what not. Not this brew. It might be the single best beer I've ever had. Great color, light and smooth taste and not over powering with too much of any one ingredient. I was surprised and impressed. We ordered two small pizzas to eat with our beer and Brian delivered them to our table about ten minutes after we ordered them. They were simple pizzas, lightly frozen pizzas but they were hot and tasted great. The building was very clean and the decor and ambiance was laid back and comfortable. It was raining and snowing while we were there so we didn't really get to enjoy their amazing outdoor area but it sure is beautiful. This really is a first rate little tavern and chat spot. After a nice hour long hike at Red Rocks with friends, we were definitely thirsty for a nice pint of draft beer. Although breezy, the temperature was almost in its 60's. Our group leader organized a little sit down at this beer garden for a little chitchat with the brewers. This place is not necessarily big but can hold up to 60 people is what I observed. The indoor and outdoor seatings both have an ambiance of quiet and relaxing nature which allows people to have a good time with friends and family with no distractions. For someone like me who is not necessarily a big beer drinker, the selection of tap beers they carry is not too complex and/or overwhelming. If you don't want a beer you can always opt for a glass of wine (they have white and red wines of Colterus in Palisades; how nice!) Service was basic but not bad. The guy at the ordering counter said he was short-staffed. It took a good 5 minutes before my turn came but I was understanding!! What I got today really quenched my thirst for sure. REDROCKS....Opening Act is a blood orange wheat beer which is like Blue Moon. Tasted so good as I like Blue Moon. My only wish was that if they offered a slice of orange to it then it'd make it the beer twice as good. The only downside of this place is that they really don't serve any good/quality food (they only carry pretzels, bags of chips and small (frozen?) pizzas. Great brewery outside of Denver, near Red Rocks! I visited on a beautiful Saturday and they were busy but had a few open tables outside. They have a variety of beers and a few small snacks. We drove into Morrison to walk around Red Rocks Park during the daytime. On our way in I spotted a sign for Red Rocks Beer Garden and promised I would swing back on the way home. So happy we did! This spot is pretty small but very well-kept and had a phenomenal atmosphere for a quick beer or snack. I ended up grabbing the pretzels which I was set on before even arriving! They were honestly a bit hard for my liking and the cheese sauce was served cold which I found odd. The rotating sour was the Pinkalicious which is one of my favorite spring/summer beers. The pretzel still satisfied my pretzel craving and the beer was perfect for a sunny day snack after hiking around all afternoon. It smelled sooo good inside (I believe it was the pizzas) which I'll have to come back to try sometime. This is a hidden gem just off the main strip in Morrison. We like it because it's close to home and not too crowded during the week or even on a Friday night. If your doggo is interested, they can hang out too. They offer generous tastings and really good suds. This is truly the perfect place for an after hike (or bike, or ski) beverage. Nestled in a converted home in downtown Morrison, RRBG has an ever-rotating selection of beers on tap. No matter what you're in the mood for, you'll find something to whet your whistle. And if beer is not your thing (gasp!), they also have wine, spirit and non-alcoholic options available. Food options are limited to bar/snack foods, and while it might be easy to say "I wish there were more food options" (and, to a point, I do), I will counter my own grievance by saying it's not the point of the business. You visit RRBG to grab a drink, catch up with friends, chill. It's not meant to be a restaurant. So, in my opinion, the food options are appropriate. The outdoor patio space is made up of picnic and patio tables surrounded by greenery, which does indeed help create the garden vibe. A few umbrellas help where the tree cover falls short and is a blessing in the summer. The atmosphere is incredibly inviting, and it's a place you could easily hang for a few hours without feeling like you're overstaying your welcome. It's never too crowded (a rarity along the Front Range) and dog friendly too! What I appreciate most, however, is that everything is CO made.
