Mountain High
Lauren L.

This brunch really hit the spot after a walk around the lake and through town. We got the Buenos Dias Burrito (me) and the Mountain High with sausage and French toast (spouse). The breakfast "wild potatoes" are crispy and tasty, the green chile on the burrito was flavorful with just a hint of a kick, and the wild style eggs (they throw Parmesan on top) were an excellent upgrade. Everyone left full and happy. Our toddler crushed the French toast.

Had breakfast here this morning. I got Eggs Benedict. The sauce was ah-mazing, thick piece of tasty ham and potato's (kinda like this chips). It was SO GOOD! I had them add capers to my eggs which gave it a good little bite! If you're in Colorado it's a cut little "old town" area with a country western feel. The waitress was super nice and service was fast. Highly Recommend!!

Great place for a quick coffee. Also, their double chocolate chip cookies are delicious. Totally recommend a visit

French toast, boring breakfast, biscuits and gravy.

This place is DELICIOUS. Biscuits and gravy are outstanding. Scrambled eggs and potatoes are perfect. Orange juice was amazing as well. French was good but we would get the pancake next time for sure. Service was amazing!

Quaint & intimate with the most pleasant staff & delicious food! The potatoes are like nothing I've had before & they were to die for! Normally I'm not much of a potato person but I couldn't stop eating these.

9/7/24 & 9/9/8/24 Wildflower Café has become a favorite for us! The first time my husband and I went, we sat outside due to how busy it was. We had the Wakey Eggs Bakey and Mountain High Breakfast--both hearty and delicious. We enjoyed it so much, we told our friends about it. On our second visit with friends, we sat inside and enjoyed the eccentric atmosphere. We ordered the Salmon Bennie (a delicious twist on eggs Benedict), a breakfast quesadilla, the Boring Breakfast, and another Mountain High Breakfast. Everything was made to order and served perfectly. Both times were fantastic, and we all loved our experiences!" Definitely recommend getting the salmon Bennie which isn't on the menu because they run out of it often. But ask for it just in case, you won't be disappointed!

Sweet spot for a quiet and slow or quiet and quick breakfast. I enjoyed the classic Benedict. It was a bit salty but in a good way.

Mountain High Breakfast

Delicious breakfast and great service. The potatoes were my favorite and the bacon was cooked perfectly. I can't wait to go back again.

Not sure we've ever enjoyed breakfast this much. My wife and I got breakfast skillets that were amazing. The guys there were excellent workers but we ate at the bar and were thoroughly entertained with their conversations. They were helpful with Colorado vacation ideas for us as well. Great ambience. Doing this every time we go to Colorado from now on. Easy call.

If I lived even 50 miles away I would be sure to come here as often as possible. Really good menu with tasty options. My friend and I were visiting Denver and decided to stop on our way back to New Mexico. We had a lovely breakfast in this tiny cafe. We both had creative skillet meals that were very yummy. So good!

Cute, funky breakfast and lunch cafe in the heart of Evergreen. Expect a bit of a wait on the weekends. Like all good things in life, it's worth the wait. Wildflower Cafe is one of those places you'd see on the Travel Channel or Food Network. A small, humble spot serving the community big portions at good prices. You'll find some classic American fare with a sprinkling of Colorado influence. Coffees come in huge mugs and breakfast cocktails like mimosas, spritz' and tequila sunrises make the rounds to thirsty locals. +Smothered Steak & Eggs ($18) // wild potatoes, 8 oz. sirloin steak, house chili verde, cheddar and jack cheeses, two eggs, sourdough toast. Holy moses, I dare ya to finish the entire plate! First off, the wild potatoes are a specialty at Wildflower. These uniquely shaped fried potatoes are crispy and soft in the center. Just great! Their green chile was very good with plenty of flavor to boot. Sirloin was just a bit on the tougher side, probably not the finest cut known to man, but when it's smothered it's really not necessary. Shout out to the sourdough for being the butteriest toast I've ever had (that's a good thing!) Servers were hustling. We waited about 15 minutes before getting a table. After we were seated we were ignored for a bit too long, but then it all worked out. Small staff and let me tell you they were busy! In terms of a Rocky Mountain breakfast, Wildflower Cafe is all that and then some.

There was also a live guitar performance that added a nice touch to the overall vibe. Both the indoor and outdoor seating areas are great options. Expect to wait 30-60 minutes for a breakfast/brunch table, especially if you want one of the coveted outdoor spots. The seating is worth it though, the view of the forest and creek from your table is so endearing and serene. The food and drinks are delicious. The meals are all ornately plated, and well thought out, and made with great ingredients. The venue is semi-open air so there are a lot of flies, but every table has an anti-fly windmill/propeller. I will definitely go back, but now I know parking is super limited and annoying. All of the businesses in town are hyper aware of how limited this very popular restaurant's parking is, and aggressively inform you they are "Not Restaurant Parking". Plan to park curbside in the dirt on the outskirts of town far from any other business, and make the short walk to the restaurant.

We were sat immediately and the kids had coloring and crayons to stay busy. The theme is cows and deco follows. There are quite a few areas for sitting, the parking is tricky however. We ordered our meals and it took a bit longer than expected, but the kids meals came out first. The kids mac and cheese was piping hot and delicious per my daughter. A bit after, my fish and chips arrived along with my husband's side salad. We all began to eat and a few minutes later his chicken fried steak was brought out. After he finished his salad, he went to start in his entree and the mashed potatoes were cold. The server apologized and sent his food back to he corrected. She later brought his CFS back out on a small plate while the mashed potatoes were getting warmed up...and it was cold bc of timing but also it was on the same plate as the potatoes(understandable). The manager came to apologize and also mentioned a discount on the cold entree to make up for the situation. Round 2 comes out and CFS gravy is very hot, buuuuut the potatoes are still only lukewarm. The rest of our family was already done eating by this time and a different manager came to check on us and offered to make something completely different. We didn't want to make a fuss at all, and appreciated this offer so we ordered onion rings. The staff was very nice and apologetic about the food. We appreciated the attempts to make our dining experience less frustrating. We did box up the food because we were there longer than anticipated. Maybe we were there on an "off day" - things like this happen and would consider returning next time we are in the area
