Great to see a local wing chain come to Boulder! The staff at the register was really helpful and explained all the wing options and deals they have on different days, I was there Monday and got .75 cents a wing . This spot in Boulder is surprisingly delicious. I really had no expectations but the food was great. I ordered the Garlic Parmesan wings extra crispy, and the wings hit! When I got there the food was ready. Great dry rub seasoning, semi wet. The garlic and the Parmesan evened out just right. Definitely a place that I will frequent when I am in Boulder. This was my first visit to Wing Shack Boulder and I was both surprised and delighted. From arrival to departure Alan ensured we were well informed about their offerings and specials, enjoyed our meals, and answered any and all questions we had. With his insight we were confident with our order (boneless wings half garlic hot & half Jamaican jerk, seasoned waffle fries, and mini churros). The menu is vast so we appreciated Alan's patience and guidance. There are so many options for meals as well as rubs and sauces you could go in every day for a month and have something different. There was ample seating offering both chairs and my personal fave booths. On each table was a lined metal bowl for any bones (quite clever if you ask me). Drink options included mango lemonade, two types of iced tea, and Pepsi products. For the kiddos there's a "wing shack kids library" and a lil' chicks menu. The food came out hot and flavorful. The chicken was crisp and juicy in all the right places & the variety of dipping sauces were fun to try. The waffle fry taste and texture weren't our fave tho everything else we'd order again. 1. They don't answer the phone. For something that takes 30 mins to prepare you'd think they'd have the curtsey to let you place it ahead of time. I tried calling three times when arriving at the store they acknowledged they ignored the phone 2. They dont honor valid coupons, I had a coupon from 'campus cash' app that was $20 for 20 wings, only reason I came. I tried to back out once he told me he wouldnt honor coupon but then the employee said hed make it work so put my wing order in but in fact I had to pay full price. We came back and this place still rocks, a year later! Juan was a rock star employee. He greeted us warmly and answered our questions very politely. The wings came out fast, hot and saucy. We tried the fried mushrooms based on Juan's recommendation and they were cooked perfectly. We got to try their funnel cake dessert with chocolate dipping sauce. OMG. The funnel cake came out like fries so it was easy to share and so yummy with the powdered sugar. What a treat! I tried the strawberry watermelon lemonade this time and liked it as well. The staff came out to check on us multiple times, super friendly crew and they were always cleaning tables and keeping the place clean. We just moved to Boulder and we could not have received a better welcome to the city! Right when we walked in, we were welcomed with cheerful hardworking people who wanted to offer the best experience. There are SO many deals basically everyday. We went for the dine in: 20 wings (can mix and match any sauce/flavor for any amount) with large fries for $25. Immediately we were offered free dessert and $5 off! I just got home after picking up an order. The bag is covered in grease on the bottom and stained the car seat - in my new car!!! The thing is, nothing leaked! So unsanitary in that kitchen. Gross. The chicken wings and french fries containers are intact so someone at Wing Shack dragged the bag into a bunch of grease! What a bunch of bozos! What the heck????? Now I have to get my car professionally cleaned. Oh and the wings and fries? Mediocre. This stupid meal is going to cost me hundreds. I'll never go back obviously. I emailed the parent company, Centennial Hospitality Group, and they returned my email anonymously with no name and offered a $20 credit to try the place again. What a joke. read more

Hunty and I ordered 10 Jerk and 10 Lemon Pepper Wings fried hard. Jerk wasn't West African hot, but still tasty. Lemon pepper was spot on. Blue Cheese dipping sauce is better than Ken's. They were overcooked--crunchy on the outside and dry on the inside. Sauces tasted cheap, heavy, and bland. The ranch could have come from a dollar store. I ate half the order and threw the rest out. Service: It was fine. Not noticeably friendly, helpful, etc. Not like what is reported in other reviews. But it was ok. I paid for my order and left. My takeout order was about 10 minutes late. No big deal but not amazing, is it? Atmosphere. The restaurant was dirty. The floor was messy and badly needed to be swept. There are only a couple of tables and a lonely TV playing a game. Again, fine..but does this sound like a stylish local hotspot? It's similar to a takeout pizza place with a few dingy tables. It's as welcoming as a prison cafeteria. I ordered 20 traditional bone in wings and fries.We tried two different sauces they recommended. Golden Hot and Buff / Q. one barely had any sauce on them and the other was just ok. Nothing special.
