It's been years since I've been here and it's an institution on the hill in Boulder for a reason! Pictures of Obama and Robert Redford used to work here! This was the first place I ever had honey on pizza crust and I was hooked! Food is still delicious and service is friendly and fast!
I came here on a Saturday for lunch and was immediately seated. FYI your whole party needs to be present before being seated. The interior is decorated with lots of wall art and hand written notes/names from visitors. Our waiter was very attentive and friendly. I ordered the Reuben and I thought it was delicious. The meat was moist and tender and the fries were crispy. I also liked the pickles that came on the side because it gave the plate a refreshing bite it needed. We also had the pleasure of interacting with the manager(?) and was kindly offered a comp dessert. We got the cookie with ice cream and everyone at that table thought it was delicious. It's a healthy portion that can easily feed 4 people. I had a great experience and would definitely recommend this place to others.
More of a divey spot with crazy wall art and you can write your name on their low ceilings. We loved the sink so much we came back for lunch a few days later! Located in the heart of Boulder it can be a bit crazy especially on a game day so plan accordingly. We came for lunch and ordered their infamous burgers. The tres fuegos and bacon jammin burgers. Both were delicious in their own way and neither of us were willing to share with each other. Their regular fries are dusted with a Cajun seasoning. The sweet potatoes fries are amazing but make sure to ask for them well done. We came back a few days later for lunch as well and ordered their cowboy rueben and pesto chicken sandwich. Amazing meal again so delicious and reasonably priced. Service was great both meals, though when asking for the check and trying to get out it takes some time we they definitely are understaffed.
Finally made it to the famous Sink where almost every inch of wall space is covered by signatures. 6 pm on a Friday night had a wait of about 40 minutes. Most seating is indoors, some outdoors but no heaters (which are much needed in November in Boulder). Food was good - nothing spectacular. Menu is via QR code at the table with mainly sandwiches and pizza, a few entrees. We all got sandwiches/burgers with an upgrade of sweet potato fries. Portions were large, I could only eat half my burger. Standard table service and our waitress was pleasant and attentive without being annoying. I'd say make sure to go once. I'd go back but not necessarily in a hurry to do so.

Lots of fun art and tons of tvs so definitely a great spot to hang out. To eat I got the Texas onion straw burger and while I know they are known for their ugly pizza crust we all agreed our burgers and sandwiches were better than the pizza! They were loaded with toppings and the fries were great!!

Both were very filling and quite heavy, on brand with bar food if that's what you're looking for. The place is filled with fun history. Be sure to sign your name in there too!

The sweet potato fries were great with the spicy ranch. Good cocktail and beer selection. Everyone was friendly and attentive drinks refilled quickly empty plates cleared swiftly. So much to check out between the wall of fame and the paintings/writings on the wall.
It's a must-visit for the history and atmosphere alone. We remember the food being better--but that was nearly 25 years ago, back in our college days, so maybe our memory's a little "hazy". The service was a bit slow for the later side of the lunch hour. The chipotle chicken soup didn't quite come together flavor-wise for us, and the super basic burger we ordered (to share with our little one) was fine, we prefer crisp pickles and the onions were limp and lacked flavor--my husband joked they looked like they'd been sitting at the bottom of "the sink". And this, friends, is why I write reviews.

Inside is so unique! They have artwork all over which is really cool! I wasn't a fan of the service though. The waitress kept forgetting things we asked for. It was a busy Saturday but I feel like getting what I ask for is important.
Very cool spot with a trippy vibe. Plenty of bar pace with a few TVs if you're trying to get a beer and watch a game. I started with some wings extra crispy like they meant to be. No lemon pepper so I got hot and bbq. Not really into bbq wings but the flavor was right. Wings were nice and crispy and the hot was choice too. Got a southwest bacon burger with added crispy onion straws and damn. The fried jalapeños and bacon were putting in work. Only thing missing would be like some aioli mayo something or other. But the burger was on point. Love that they use a lot of pepper jack, way underrated burger cheese. They have plenty of beers on tap with a lot of Colorado local stuff. Staff was friendly and quick. I went for a late lunch on Wednesday and it wasn't too packed. But I can see it filling up for prime rush times. Not a lot of great parking mostly street but there is also a little pay lot across the street.
This place was recommended to me by my car rental specialist! It definitely doesn't disappoint! A historic (over 100 year) restaurant located in the CO college town. This place is definitely a vibe. From the written and drawn up walls, to educational and satire cartoons, it gives off that vibe it's the place to be. The service is very fast and accommodating. Even Andrew, the manager, came to check on us! He even thought we were college students. Besides all of that, the food is super delicious. I had the burnt ends max and cheese, and my cousin built her own burger. Unfortunately, we forgot there is something called "altitude sickness" so we couldn't enjoy it as much as we should have. I'll definitely come back here when I visit!
This is my #1 rec for everyone visiting Boulder. The vibes are just there. Food is 10/10 especially the Korean hot honey wings and the sliders, GOT TO get the sweet potato fries they're the best ever. Love how they do their pickles too. Drinks are great and strong. Wish they would bring back the Miami vice tho. read more

This was a recommended popular stop during our unofficial CU tour, located in the heart of Boulder amongst other cool cafes and shops, so we had to do it. Service was just meh but the food and drinks were really interesting and very tasty. It's certainly not cheap, but nothing is anymore. The decor is hard to describe. Low ceilings and sharpie writings from past guests all over the ceilings. Don't even think about writing on the walls. It's a no no. Funky art hangs everywhere else including caricatures and photos, making it a fun kind of distraction! Burgers are what's famous here so that's what most of our table stuck with, but I would highly suggest the nachos. read more

Miya served us well. She assisted with the Food and Beer Menu. Coming here is like stepping back in time. When my wife was a Buff they would come here 3 to 4 times a Week. It is still a very cool place We both went for the Buff Mac-n-Cheese. All I can say is it was outta this World. For beverages we went for the Drumroll and Coors. For dessert we selected the GIANT COOKIE. OMG this place is over the TOP with super delicious food and service from people like Miya. Went to eat here after a comedy show at the boulder theater with the lady. Surprised to walk in and see all the GOATs that have eaten here. The signatures and eccentric art on the graffiti'd walls was a dope touch with the low hanging ceiling that would probably cause someone to get a concussion if they're above 5'11". But once seated I asked the waitress what burger she would recommend and she mentioned the Texas or the bacon jammin burger, and I of course went with the one loaded with grilled onions. I regret nothing. It was perfect after a long hungry day. My girlfriend had a drunken chicken pizza that also slapped. Can't wait to come back some day! read more

I can't think of any place other than THE SINK when I offer suggestions for Boulder visitors. The menu is epic and every time I've tried something new it becomes my new favorite food. REDEMPTION FOR THE SINK! Visited my second time and got the Mesa Chicken Sandwich and a half Caesar salad. Holy smokes I was blown away by the flavor. Fries seasoned perfectly, the chicken was juicy and had a great blackened flavor. Always a cool restaurant to visit because of the interior. Service was good this time too. read more

The moment you walk in, you notice the signatures and paintings all over the walls. Don't bother coming here on a football gameday - it'll be way too packed. However, when you do go it's one of my favorite spots near Boulder's campus. Service is always on top of it and will give you great recommendations on food choices. I got recommended the Buff Mac and Cheese and was not disappointed. read more
A very tasty restaurant in Boulder! I loved the extremely cool artwork, including the pictures of famous visitors, and the service was absolutely great. I liked the food too! The Buffalo cauliflower bites were baked perfectly without too much breading and a delicious sauce. The Mac n cheese side was also wonderful; I loved the crisp broiled top. The burger was a bit of a miss for me--i thought it was under seasoned and could have really benefited from more acidity and salt. The fries were also served pretty cold. This place seems to be a boulder institution, and I would definitely come back again! read more

The Sink is well known on the Hill in Boulder. They sponsored an event today with the fraternity/sorority council to make a donation to LA wildfire relief. As longtime local residents and supporter of this classic restaurant we joined them. We went early, wanting to walk down while it was reasonably warm and so we could be back before dark when the crowds of students would make getting a seat difficult husband had a nice Amber Ale from Fort Collins and the seasonal special of chicken pot pie, which comes with some biscuits and a side salad. He really enjoyed it and found the portion very filling too. I had the French Onion soup which suited the weather as well as my appetite. As we were finishing up, the tables started filling up as dreams of students started coming for dinner and the fundraiser. It's nice to see such local businesses helping other communities these days, where tragedies have made huge impacts. We will be back another time to continue our support which began in 1974 under an earlier owner. The Sink is classic to Boulder and you don't have to be a student to enjoy it. read more

I love this place. Yes, its a staple of boulder and if you are visiting or taking your kids for a meal, this is a MUST! They are known for their amazing pizzas but we tried some of their new items on their menu. The Prime Time burger was bread free burger over a salad. The burger was perfectly cooked to my liking and had enough vegetable to be considered healthy burger. Cocktails were very creative and equally good. We had the Lucky Charm martini was tasted like was drinking cereal milk. Very creative made with marshmallow vodka, Rumchata, cream and topped with little lucky charms. If you don't do a desert, this is a good substitute. Wait staff is always super friendly and the place always has great vibe no matter what time of day. Would love to get some merch but way out of my budget (~$45-50 for tshirt) but if market demands the price...good for them. read more

In town for the Shakespeare Festival at CU Boulder. Decided to check it out.. How fun is this place?? Loved the decor! Had so much fun going through the whole place reading the stories. How easy is it to park?
There's a paid parking lot across the street and street parking, it's so close to parking typically it's smooth sailing but it's also on the Hill so weekends/prime times do get busy.
