Finally made it to the famous Sink where almost every inch of wall space is covered by signatures. 6 pm on a Friday night had a wait of about 40 minutes. Most seating is indoors, some outdoors but no heaters (which are much needed in November in Boulder). Food was good - nothing spectacular. Menu is via QR code at the table with mainly sandwiches and pizza, a few entrees. We all got sandwiches/burgers with an upgrade of sweet potato fries. Portions were large, I could only eat half my burger. Standard table service and our waitress was pleasant and attentive without being annoying. I'd say make sure to go once. More of a divey spot with crazy wall art and you can write your name on their low ceilings. We loved the sink so much we came back for lunch a few days later! Located in the heart of Boulder it can be a bit crazy especially on a game day so plan accordingly. We came for lunch and ordered their infamous burgers. The tres fuegos and bacon jammin burgers. Both were delicious in their own way and neither of us were willing to share with each other. Their regular fries are dusted with a Cajun seasoning. The sweet potatoes fries are amazing but make sure to ask for them well done. We came back a few days later for lunch as well and ordered their cowboy rueben and pesto chicken sandwich. Amazing meal again so delicious and reasonably priced. Very cool spot with a trippy vibe. Plenty of bar pace with a few TVs if you're trying to get a beer and watch a game. I started with some wings extra crispy like they meant to be. No lemon pepper so I got hot and bbq. Not really into bbq wings but the flavor was right. Wings were nice and crispy and the hot was choice too. Got a southwest bacon burger with added crispy onion straws and damn. The fried jalapeños and bacon were putting in work. Only thing missing would be like some aioli mayo something or other. Even Andrew, the manager, came to check on us! He even thought we were college students. Besides all of that, the food is super delicious. I had the burnt ends max and cheese, and my cousin built her own burger. Unfortunately, we forgot there is something called "altitude sickness" so we couldn't enjoy it as much as we should have. Went to eat here after a comedy show at the boulder theater with the lady. Surprised to walk in and see all the GOATs that have eaten here. The signatures and eccentric art on the graffiti'd walls was a dope touch with the low hanging ceiling that would probably cause someone to get a concussion if they're above 5'11". But once seated I asked the waitress what burger she would recommend and she mentioned the Texas or the bacon jammin burger, and I of course went with the one loaded with grilled onions. An institution in this college town for a century. They serve up beer, cocktails and grub in this very old building with incredibly low ceilings with graffiti while the walls are reserved for hand painted cartoon murals featuring local legends. The space is surprisingly big and the food, while not top notch, will satisfy most palates. I had a gumbo style soup over rice which was quite tasty with a pound of wings. A nice happy hour special for my Cowboy Lemonade cocktail helped to wash it down. Super fun place to grab a beer. read more

The Sink is well known on the Hill in Boulder. They sponsored an event today with the fraternity/sorority council to make a donation to LA wildfire relief. As longtime local residents and supporter of this classic restaurant we joined them. We went early, wanting to walk down while it was reasonably warm and so we could be back before dark when the crowds of students would make getting a seat difficult husband had a nice Amber Ale from Fort Collins and the seasonal special of chicken pot pie, which comes with some biscuits and a side salad. He really enjoyed it and found the portion very filling too. I had the French Onion soup which suited the weather as well as my appetite. As we were finishing up, the tables started filling up as dreams of students started coming for dinner and the fundraiser. It's nice to see such local businesses helping other communities these days, where tragedies have made huge impacts. We will be back another time to continue our support which began in 1974 under an earlier owner. The Sink is classic to Boulder and you don't have to be a student to enjoy it. read more

A very tasty restaurant in Boulder! I loved the extremely cool artwork, including the pictures of famous visitors, and the service was absolutely great. I liked the food too! The Buffalo cauliflower bites were baked perfectly without too much breading and a delicious sauce. The Mac n cheese side was also wonderful; I loved the crisp broiled top. The burger was a bit of a miss for me--i thought it was under seasoned and could have really benefited from more acidity and salt. The fries were also served pretty cold. They are known for their amazing pizzas but we tried some of their new items on their menu. The Prime Time burger was bread free burger over a salad. The burger was perfectly cooked to my liking and had enough vegetable to be considered healthy burger. Cocktails were very creative and equally good. We had the Lucky Charm martini was tasted like was drinking cereal milk. Very creative made with marshmallow vodka, Rumchata, cream and topped with little lucky charms. If you don't do a desert, this is a good substitute. Wait staff is always super friendly and the place always has great vibe no matter what time of day. Visiting CO and my husband found this gem and I couldn't have been happier. We arrived on Friday 8/30/24 and as a college town I was certain we would be waiting however, we added our name to this list and were seated in about 15 mins. Service was great here. I loved all the art and writing on the walls and some were freakin hilarious! Husband ordered BBQ Bacon burger and I had the famous Buff Mac. We did order a michelada as well. Burger was cooked to perfection and the sweet potatoe fries were his favorite! I had to snag a few and they were the perfect amount of sweet and so crispy! This sports bar atmosphere is a great place to land before a concert. I absolutely loved the pizza here and the beer selection was good. The prices are reasonable, the staff was attentive and friendly even when they were busy, and the food came out in a decent amount of time. Restaurant said they are known for the burgers but mine arrived tasting fleshy with little seasoning and on a saturated, mushy bun. The environment is a bit claustrophobic as the ceilings are very low. The ambiance is lessened even more with "pride" paraphernalia and photos of Obummer everywhere. If they want to stay in business they may want to be more a-political or at least recognize both parties. I don't base my eating decision on either issue! read more
