The problem is that every time I order delivery on Wing Mondays, your required to buy a drink for every 25 wings you order. The problem is that I do. I order unsweetened iced tea, however when it's delivered to my house, they never gave the drink. This is overly frustrating! I'm sick of paying for something I never get! The wings are usually cooked perfectly and the blue cheese dressing is good. It's just that I don't get my drink. Decent wing shop. Their potato chips are pretty good when they're fresh. I was unimpressed with their Black Bear sauce. It just didn't shine and pop like I hoped it would. They are in the old ELF restaurant building. They pretty much kept most of the interior the same, so it has some familiarity if you frequented ELF. The staff seem friendly. Everyone has an off day now and then, but overall they're nice. I have one very serious bone to pick and everyone please take note: when you arrive to pick up your (on-line, phone-in, delivery) order, they will far more often than not low ball your wait time. I have been told "oh it'll be less than 3 minutes." 25 minutes later I'm finally leaving with my order. Customers are consistently told "5 minutes or less" or "they're bagging it up now" only to be made to wait 15-20 or more minutes before their order is finally brought out. It's time to get realistic and just be honest. I'd much rather be told "we're busy/short staffed (whatever) and it'll be another 20 minutes" and be leaving with my order in 15 minutes rather than the lie of "less than 5 minutes" and leaving 20 minutes later. I'm so glad my husband and I got to check this place out! It didn't seem super busy when we walked in, but the wait was about 45 minutes for food. They did warn us ahead of time, which I appreciate. It seems like it's the takeout orders that keep them super busy. I think that's a really good sign! Everyone was eager to take our order and super friendly. The food was also really amazing! My husband is a huge wing fan, so him liking his wings here is a blessing. I'm excited to go back and try a couple new menu items! First off, it looked like a cool spot. We were visiting from california and some cousins out there, and we went to the wingshack first thing I noticed was about 3 dozen flies flying around. Landing on everybody's heads, drinks and food. I asked the gentleman who worked at what's up with all these flies, and his comment was, it's that time of the season Portion size, there was some wings on my plate that probably shouldn't have been on there. Food is good when they get the take out order right. I order from here probably every other week on my home Wednesday or Thursday nights. My food is always later than the pick up time by 5-10 minutes consistently. The staff is nice, but customers stand around waiting to be acknowledged for way too long. Tonight my food was brought out and I was sitting there patiently waiting and it got out on the counter until I went up to ask when my food was going to be ready. If I would not have gone up who knows how long I would have sat there. I Love the Wing Shack Brand, but this location is way under staffed, and under trained in customer service. First off Charlene and Julissa are the best and they deserve a raise. The way they handled the people on New Year's Eve, was incredible and they gave out great customer service. So my wife and I ordered some wings for New Year's Eve at 5:30 to be delivered. 730 rolls around and we still haven't received our order. So I drive down there to find out what happened and to pick up our order. It turns out that everyone else had the same idea about ordering at the same time and it way overloaded the restaurant. The front of the house calmly told me about the situation and gave me the option to cancel my order. Which I did not. It turns out the restaurant was full of people in a similar situation. Including several people who have been waiting for almost 3 hours at that time. Apparently, a manager walked out in the middle of the shift, and there was confusion in the kitchen. But the reason why I give five stars to Charlene and Julissa. Is how they handled themselves and showed great restraint, when certain entitled and rude customers were yelling at them for a situation that they could not control. One customer in particular was very upset that her order took over an hour. Not caring that other people have waited longer than her. She was incredibly rude, not only to the front of the house, but also to some of the customers that was waiting for our food as well. And wanted to challenge several people to a fist fight outside in the parking lot. A real entitled, "Karen" or a bitch with a capital "C" as I would call her. But Even by being yelled at they showed restraint and tried to help by caring Customer as well as everyone else at the same time. They are the only reason I will come back. The wings are OK. The service that was shown was beyond expectations but management seems to be a problem. I'd be very unhappy if those two did not get a bonus of some sort or a raise. They deserve it. My husband decided that we needed chicken wings with our pizza. We ordered 30 wings and some sides to go. When My husband returned home with our food there was only 20 wings, I called them right away. The young lady who answered the phone put me on hold and came back to say she was asking the cook and searching the kitchen for the lost wings.
