We ordered the catfish and shrimp basket with both regular fries and Cajun fries. We also ordered #3 Specials, loaded with lobster, crab clusters, shrimp, corn on the cob, and potatoes--all steamed in butter. BABY!!! The food was so good that I completely forgot to take pictures! By the time I thought about it, we were already tearing it up! Everything was flavorful, well-seasoned, and worth it. After my last disappointing food experience, Wings Pier @ Aurora definitely came through and reminded me what properly seasoned food is supposed to taste like! If you're looking for a casual restaurant with good food and one of the best Happy Hour deals around, Wing's Pier is definitely worth checking out. We came during Happy Hour (3-6 PM every day) and ordered the seafood boil with crawfish, shrimp, corn, potatoes, and ramen, the lemon pepper and buffalo wings, the chicken tenders basket, the fried shrimp basket, and a mocktail. My favorites were definitely the seafood boil and the wings. The boil was full of flavor, and I loved that it came with ramen. The wings were also really good, especially the lemon pepper. The chicken tenders and fried shrimp baskets were both crispy and a great value during Happy Hour. Honestly, the quality, portions, and prices made it feel like one of the better Happy Hour spots I've been to. The only thing I wouldn't order again is the mocktail. It tasted fine, but it actually costs more than some of their regular cocktails, so I'd skip it and order a cocktail instead. So me and my wife go for a night out. This family of three were sat down before us. Someone wasn't in the group wasn't satisfied and the middle aged lady went to the manager and gave him a hug. They exchanged words and then he went to the front and looked at the screen and moved the family to our seat the lady then gave him a fist dump. I went to the waitress and told her we don't want that table. What happened to ours. Not too bad, but not the best seafood boil that I've had. We got here around 1 PM on a Saturday and thankfully, it wasn't too busy. We got sat right away and our server was kind and attentive, checking in often. We got the jalapeño poppers because we were told that they're filled with crab, but just know that it is imitation crab, not actual crab. Regardless, it was pretty okay. I got the Special 2 with the Wing Pier special at a Medium. It tasted more like a mild and I wished that I had ordered Hot instead. In addition to this, the sauce itself was pretty thin. New seafood place that took over fire wings. Took my niece late birthday dinner. Food was good. We all got boil. Flavor was good the spice was there. We all the special #4. One of the boil from out pick 3 got sausage was way to much so i hope they didn't use the weight of the sausage mostly. They could cut the corn smaller. I felt like this was very filling. I can hear for my birthday back in Feb and it was not good, service was mid. So i said I'd give it another try so i went today. Little did i know it was happy hour. Service was better but i feel like the waiter kept forgetting about us. The food this time was better. The kids nuggets were absolutely amazing. The wings were okay i got 5 sweet chili. The noodles in the boil was the star in this. Whoever said add ramen to the boil, the soak up all the juice amazing! The green muscles were pretty good plump, shrimp was good. I should have listened to the waiters suggestion Ang just got the hurricane. The watermelontini was okay and half a drink and so much foam. Either way I'll be back for the boil. Decided to check out this new spot that recently opened. I ordered To-Go but had a drink or two at the bar while waiting for my order. Placed (3) orders of the Special #3 and added octopus to one of my orders. The calamari was okay.. could have had a better seasoning taste to it. Service was polite and greeted me well. This was my first time visiting a Wings Pier location, and I went to the Aurora spot--one of only two in Colorado right now--and it did not disappoint. We started with drinks: I ordered a mango lemonade that isn't even on the menu (so good and refreshing!), and my partner had a Japanese Upslope. For food, we went all in. We got the steamed oysters with garlic butter (mild), which were flavorful and perfectly cooked. We also ordered 10 wings, half garlic Parmesan and half K spice, and chose Cajun fries instead of veggie sticks--great choice. The fries were seasoned well and paired perfectly with the wings. The highlight was the special 3 seafood boil: shrimp (no head), a half pound of lobster tail, half pound of snow crab, plus one corn and two potatoes. Everything was fresh, messy in the best way, and packed with flavor. What really made the experience stand out was the owner and staff--they were incredibly kind, welcoming, and made sure we were taken care of the entire time. The food was great. It was my second time there. The first time my sister and I got chicken wings to go. The wings great flavor loved them. The only thing they messed up on was I asked for cajun fries and I received regular fries. The place was very clean and a great atmosphere. I came back later with my daughter and I ordered wings again-but also the calamari. She ordered the catfish basket. We went to Wing's Pier for lunch for the first time. The ambiance is fun and inviting. The music was pop but not too load. Our waitress was very sweet and great to talk to. I ordered a fried catfish,and Cajun fries and hushpuppies. The all three were awesome. Tasty fish, spicy fries and old fashioned hippies! yum! We finally stopped by Wings Pier Seafood & Wings in Aurora off Mississippi, and it did not disappoint. They've been open since December, and we're glad we gave them a try. Our server Bryce was super cool--very attentive and knew the menu well, which made ordering easy. We went with the fried catfish, fried shrimp, salt & pepper wings, fried rice, Cajun fries, and seafood-seasoned boiled eggs, and everything came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor. Wouldn't really say this is a seafood place but if it's considered one, it's pretty dry. The inside decor gives off pirates of ship decor. Pretty packed when I got here so service took about 10min to get to our table. Honestly went once and never again cause it was a bit disappointing. Ok my husband and I thought we would try wings pier and seafood I have to say that I was not impressed. To start with I ordered the fried oysters basket and I ask that it would be fried hard. Which they didn't do .My husband ordered lemon pepper chicken wings which was dry and we couldn't taste the lemon pepper. The Mango Margarita wasn't that good as well. So my guess is if you are going to order you might want to order in instead of take out. I'm not sure if I want to try their crab boil. But what I can say is the service was good. read more
