    Happy hour menu
    Rya A.

I can hear for my birthday back in Feb and it was not good, service was mid. So i said I'd give it another try so i went today. Little did i know it was happy hour. Service was better but i feel like the waiter kept forgetting about us. The food this time was better. The kids nuggets were absolutely amazing. The wings were okay i got 5 sweet chili. The noodles in the boil was the star in this. Whoever said add ramen to the boil, the soak up all the juice amazing! The green muscles were pretty good plump, shrimp was good. I should have listened to the waiters suggestion Ang just got the hurricane. The watermelontini was okay and half a drink and so much foam. Either way I'll be back for the boil. Also played good music

The food was great. It was my second time there. The first time my sister and I got chicken wings to go. The wings great flavor loved them. The only thing they messed up on was I asked for cajun fries and I received regular fries. The place was very clean and a great atmosphere. I came back later with my daughter and I ordered wings again-but also the calamari. She ordered the catfish basket. The wings are awesome and my daughter she liked the catfish, but she said it needed some flavor other than that everything else was great.

Great flavors all on the happy hour menu. Service was friendly and prompt. Ample space, but it gets loud. I've been there 3 times. One time was an 11/2 hour wait, so I opted out. The other times, it got really busy after I was seated. Excellent happy hour food items and prices.

Decided to check out this new spot that recently opened. I ordered To-Go but had a drink or two at the bar while waiting for my order. Placed (3) orders of the Special #3 and added octopus to one of my orders. The calamari was okay.. could have had a better seasoning taste to it. Service was polite and greeted me well. Bartender was a little slow but overall good. I had a Cucumber Breeze and a Don Julio shot. Ambiance was nice and bar had a variety of selections and food was delicious and flavorful!

Catfish, Hush Puppies, cocktail shrimp, chicken wings

James did an amazing job keeping us interested in the food choices. We wanted something slightly different from a boil and instead had a few of their fried options that were on the happy hour. Honestly one of the best places we've been to in a while that just makes great fish and has great drinks prices for our thirsty visits. Definitely coming back and might just peep in for the $15 happy hour seafood boil. The smell in this place is heavenly.

There was not enough seating. We had a party of 5 and it was a long wait for our food.

First time in one of Jessie's Smokin' NOLA brick and mortar location, but I have had food off their food truck many years ago. Had the taste of NOLA, which comes with jambalaya, red beans and rice, fried shrimp and fried catfish. It's all delicious, well seasoned and flavors that not many other cajun places have. The fried shrimp and seafood are the standouts. No clue how they get the breading to stick on so thin, yet crispy and perfectly cooked. Shrimp was bouncy, not rubbery. The catfish filet was steaming hot when I took my first bite and very moist. One of the complaints I heard from other friends is that service is slow. They probably only had 2 people working when we went there, so maybe they're just running their staff very lean. You go up to the counter to order, but still had to wait a few minutes for the bartender (who was running around delivering food and bussing tables) to get to the register. The food is absolutely worth the wait and will visit for their other dishes when I'm on that side of town.

I'll check this spot out again, whenever I'm in town and want a taste of home. I love that the owner is born and raised in new orleans, he brings NOLA to Colorado on a serious tip. The owner was so nice and down to earth. Mr. Henry was very welcoming; he felt like family. My friend and I started with the boudin balls, which tasted more like salmon croquettes, which would have been amazing as croquettes, but as boudin balls, we did not taste rice much at all, and no sauce was served with them. I was desiring some Crawfish ettouffe and they were completely out of that, so i settle for the pasta monica with shrimp, which looked nice, but was way too salty to enjoy. I tried to push through but if I had continue to, it would have burned my tongue. The po boys was great 10/10 the fried catfish was 10/10. fries was 20/10 perfect crisp and softness fillings. hurricane drink was a nice strong & sweetness, a ball was drop when salt was rim vs sugar, but nonetheless it was close to the best. I really want to try that sold out crawfish ettouffe next time i'm here. Thank you Josh for gifting me the blueberry cake that was very sweet!!! I love Mr Henry homemade signature dessert. (Not pictured) Rewards is offered here. military discount is honored here as well. I look forward to returning and exploring the menu; next Colorado visit.

Now only because when I eat something this indulgent, I like to even out by eating raw veggies like carrot sticks, celery or even lettuce with raw garlic, onions, bell peppers and jalapeños. My hubby makes it at home for me like this- no restaurant I've been to ever has, but I picture the veggies with the sauce would be so so good too. We came in on the off season, so crawfish was frozen- and it was actually still pretty good. Of course, I'd like to come back when it's fresh and compare. We changed that yesterday. We were trying to think of a new place to go try and the crab House popped into our thoughts. And we're so glad we went! The server who I can only imagine is probably the owner, man she is a hustler! This woman runs the whole place without leaving a single person unattended. We came in after lunch and before dinner so it was a little quiet in there when we came, but you could tell this is just how she does things. The food was fresh. It wasn't salty which we kind of expected. The prices were very reasonable and we're glad we don't have to go all the way to Denver to get this type of food anymore. Coming from Illinois we had a quite a few of these types of places near where we lived, but we don't have a lot of Cajun seafood here in Colorado. I was very happy to find something that wasn't terribly far from home, was clean, and the food was delicious! If I can give any critique, I wish the shrimp was just a little fresher. I'm guessing it was frozen however nothing was past its prime and we ate every bite!
