Had the taste of NOLA, which comes with jambalaya, red beans and rice, fried shrimp and fried catfish. It's all delicious, well seasoned and flavors that not many other cajun places have. The fried shrimp and seafood are the standouts. No clue how they get the breading to stick on so thin, yet crispy and perfectly cooked. Shrimp was bouncy, not rubbery. The catfish filet was steaming hot when I took my first bite and very moist. One of the complaints I heard from other friends is that service is slow. They probably only had 2 people working when we went there, so maybe they're just running their staff very lean. You go up to the counter to order, but still had to wait a few minutes for the bartender (who was running around delivering food and bussing tables) to get to the register. The food is absolutely worth the wait and will visit for their other dishes when I'm on that side of town.

We got XXX garlic cajun butter and it was amazing. It was juicy (bc suck the head) and flavorful. I always bring my own spice to dip in and we kept saying how good it was.
