Service: 10/10. Bar staff was excellent, very friendly and fast. Food came out of the kitchen very quickly as well. Food: The menu had a lot of really interesting options, I got the Bluegrass Benedict. It was amazing. Literally one of my favorite benedict dishes I've had. It had layers and layers of flavors between the greens, sauce, and toppings. The home fries were crispy on the outside + soft on the inside perfection. The only part that wasn't stellar was the pork belly itself, have definitely had better, but everything else blew me away. The portion size was large. Value: I paid $22 after tip, it was a big portion and I had to eat some later (although not as good as fresh), overall great quality and service so would say value on point. Accessibility: There was street parking in front. There is a ramp to the door. I had a great meal and would recommend highly and would go again if back in the area.

First, wife is a vegetarian and they had no mains other than Mac and cheese for her. She ordered the salad without chicken which was $25. They knocked it down to $22 after I asked why it was the same price without meat, which still seemed like a lot for a salad with no protein. Kids' Mac and cheese was not the same receipe as last time; it was a different noodle and seemed to be needing some salt as it was pretty bland. Unlike our last visit they did not include an ice cream for dessert. My fried chicken and waffles was ok--the breading was a bit soggy though and I much preferred the Nashville hot chicken from my last visit. If I'm being honest this was closer to a 2 star experience, but with how good the last visit was, I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt they maybe tonight they were just off. That said--need one vegetarian entree for the menu.

I love a good deviled egg but this one was just okay, it lacked any flavor. I also saw people rave about the cinnamon roll but it was just okay and dry. Steak and eggs were simple and classic but not warrant the price point. A lot of the items on the menu were a bit pricey for size/taste/quality but for a special occasion or date night could be worth it. Located off Blake St so parking is on the street, or garage if you prefer. There are some pull off areas where we saw many people being dropped off first. Stairs & ramp which make wheelchair/stroller accessible. Walk-ins are acceptable or you can make a reservation online! Menu includes GF options. Cool outdoor area for seating & games. Indoor seating's include standard, bar, booths & tables.

We first attempted lunch at Rebel Bread's café, but they were out of most sandwiches due to a missed delivery. Leven Supply was our second stop, but they had been seized by the State due to unpaid taxes! Fortunately Lucile's is right across Alameda Avenue from Leven and we found them humming along at their usual pace. We were greeted by Brad, a particularly friendly, personable, and efficient server and soon seated in the comfortable dining room which features just the right number of New Orleans-themed tchotchkes. My girlfriend ordered Eggs Sardou which features creamed spinach, Gulf shrimp, poached eggs, and Hollandaise. She chose the jalapeño cheese grits. I had Eggs Pontchartrain with pan-fried mountain trout, poached eggs, and Béarnaise plus the plain cheese grits. My girlfriend had never been to Lucile's. She was thrilled with her dish. The spinach was particularly creamy and savory. Absolutely delicious. My meal was also excellent. Every item was perfectly prepared. I haven't even mentioned the buttermilk biscuits which are each a meal in themselves and come out at the peak of perfection. Lucile's is one of my favorites. Anyone can find a delicious choice there.

Lucille's has quickly become one of our go-to spots for a cozy, Creole-inspired brunch. It's a…read moresmall chain with multiple locations, and this particular one definitely leans into that charm. That said, it's also pretty cramped, and the wait times can be long (sometimes even longer than quoted). One thing we do appreciate is how they've made the waiting experience more comfortable. There's a somewhat hidden upstairs waiting area that's especially nice during those unpredictable winter days, and you can even grab a drink in a tiny room tucked away on the other side of the dining area. It's a thoughtful touch that helps pass the time. The staff are consistently friendly and create a warm and inclusive atmosphere. As for the food - there's a lot to love. The Eggs Sourdou, Pain Perdu, and Bennifer standout. The jalapeño grits are another highlight. On the flip side, the Cajun breakfast with red beans and rice was a bit much- it became overwhelming after a few bites, so I probably wouldn't go that route again. Overall, the food is impressively comparable to what you'd find in New Orleans, which is such a treat to have close to home. With more Creole spots popping up around town, we're excited to explore and compare- but Lucille's has definitely set a high bar. You're in for quite an experience if you order the Sazerac- it's more impressive than any I've had in New Orleans.

Denver Biscuit Company shares the same place as a pizza joint and falls in the Atomic Cowboy building? All I know is that they're open until 2 PM so get your biscuits when you can. After entering, I was welcomed immediately and service is super friendly and attentive. I was checked on multiple times and always with a smile. There's deals for different days of the weekday and they have events there too I think. Decor is very eclectic. Think of a mixture of a retro 50's diner and bar with the wild west and a dash of sci-fi too. Very red and fun, even my booth table had a mini disco ball. And on top of that, during the holiday season, there's Xmas decorations as well. Great place to catch up and hang out I'm sure since they have a billiards table there too. For brunch, I got the Three Run Double which includes a buttermilk biscuit, 2 eggs (I got mine over easy), house made jam (it's strawberry), honey butter, and a choice of meat. I got their Polidori sausage. Solid eggs and sausage patty. Not bad, but nothing to write home about. The biscuit though, absolutely divine. Nice and fluffy and moist with several layers within. Slight crumbly crust and it didn't immediately desiccate or disintegrate which is great. Went deliciously with the strawberry jam and the honey butter (slightly salty with sweetness). I was actually meting out the biscuit so I don't run out of it while consuming my proteins. It was so good! If I'm in the area, I would love to come back to try more of their menu and of course biscuits and gravy!
