I was visiting The area and staying at a hotel in the neighborhood, and i thought I would give this place a try. I guess I was expecting a bit more than what I got. I had requested a garlic flavoring with a mild touch. I have to say I was very disappointed to get scallops with no flavor enhancements, say with like some old bay. The sauce was very bland and even the garlic butter had no flavor at all. Everything is sold by the pound with a very limited menu. I got the scallops with a side of 3 red potatoes with no flavorings. As if this was not already a sub par meal, the waitstaff were extremely slow and seemed to be in no rush to wait on me. $45.00 including tip ( I'm not a bad sport) For a lack luster attempt at Cajun cuisine. Loved dining here for a girls dinner haha We ordered snow and king crabs and the all in and Cajun sauce! All in sauce is really good and had a nice kick to it - we got the medium and it was siracha level spicy! The fried shrimp here are probably my favorite - I usually don't prefer eating shrimps outside but I really enjoyed them here. Everything was really good and we had such a good time. This is one of the original seafood boil spots here in Denver and I am obsessed with the sauce! We decided to order a pound of shrimp, crawfish, and two pounds of clams and we got the all in with triple X spice. The sauce has stayed the same since I've been coming here as a teenager back in 2012 and it's super garlicky and spicy. The service was great as usual and our server was very attentive. The only downside this time was some of our oysters had a weird smell and I had to stop eating them but I have never had a problem with the oysters here before so maybe it was just this time! As someone from California missing Boiling Crab this place satisfied the craving enough. I ordered shrimp whole, the shrimp was cooked well. The heat was different to my scale could have been spicier, so if you're a person who likes spicy maybe order a level above than what you normally would. The flavor was good but personally felt like it was missing and sauce. I later realized you can order extra sauce on the side. My husband and I have been to this location at least 7 times...all have been excellent! I give major kudos to Karen and Eric! We got the crawfish table boil, our out of town guest has been to NOLA and said that the flavor and quality were exceptional. There were 4 other tables in this small restaurant at 6:30 on a Wednesday night. The server was friendly and we were sat in a booth for our party of 4. The ambiance was casual and clean. The tables had the usual paper tablecloths that you see in a seafood boil restaurant. The napkins were paper from the pull-bin and the plastic ware was just that: plastic ware. They had an array of Pepsi products for $2.99 each (in paper cups) or a hot green tea for $1.99 (also in a paper cup). They were out of the mussels and the scallops. We started with a dozen raw oysters, which must have already been shucked because they came to the table within 30 seconds, served with limes (??), Zesta crackers, horseradish, Tabasco, salt/pepper, and cocktail sauce. There was no odor and they tasted delicious. Next, we ordered the crawfish chowder and seafood gumbo with rice. Lastly, the fried catfish, chicken tenders, sausages, Cajun fries, and curly fries. The soups were insanely (temperature) hot. It took a while before we could take a few bites. There were five pieces of very dry crawfish at the bottom of my chowder, but the flavor of both soups was overall good. The fries were perfect. To start, I always order a dozen oysters on the half shell, along with chicken wings and cajun fries (of course to share). As for the seafood, I usually opt for shrimp, crawfish, or crab legs. Always add in corn, potatoes, and sausage... they go perfect with the seafood. For the seasoning I recommend "rajun cajun" or the "all-in" if you like that classic cajun flavor. I was on a business trip in this area and we visited a couple of the crab boil places. This place was really good and came with a ton of crab and clams. The thing that I liked the best is that they were able to combine all of their flavors into one bag! I ended up getting 3 claws of snow crab with a pound of clams on the side. I like getting the snow crab since it takes a little bit of work to get out all of the meat! The clams were very tasty but they had a ton of sand and dirt in them. They needed to be cleaned a bit more before coming out to the table. My counterpart ended up getting the king crab and it was huge! We had to buy the corn and sausage on the side even though we ended up buying 4 lbs of seafood - I found that to be a bit odd. I love the simplicity of this place. Went right around 3:30, had no wait. We ordered fried shrimp (so delicious), 1 lb shrimp, 1 lb clams, and added the potatoes. All-in sauce, medium spice. Perfect. The fried shrimp came out first, right out the fryer hot and delicious. Bags of seafood came a few mins later. Save the lemon from the shrimp to rub on your hands after eating; it takes out the smell! Put on your bib, ask for gloves (which are so handy for peeling and eating), and prepare to feast. Dump the goodies onto the butcher-paper table cover so it's all out in its glory. We left sated but not overstuffed. We'd definitely return but wish it weren't so far away from us! read more

Let me start by saying that this restaurant is very unorganized. It took over 30 minutes to order and another hour to get our food. We had a large group so I was trying to be patient but it was simply ridiculous. Many items we ordered were actually never delivered to the table and we had to keep asking for them over and over again. My sister received her garlic bread after dinner. Green, moldy blue cheese looking stuff (tomalley or better stated toxins) poured out into our bag and all over the other items we ordered. I showed the waitress who was terrified and immediately took it away. But, this is the best part, a man comes over identifying himself as a manager. He tries to tell us he can refund the lobster but not the entire bag. I mostly laughed at him and told him to take it away and we were absolutely not eating it .
