Came here on National Wing Day to celebrate, and they had a really great wing special going on, which made it the perfect excuse to come in and try them. I love when restaurants actually have good specials for holidays like this because it makes it feel more fun to go out and celebrate, especially when the food is something you already enjoy. I was definitely happy we decided to come here and the wings were actually pretty good! I got the BBQ wings, while my partner got the Golden Flame, and both sauces had really great flavor. The BBQ had that sweet and savory flavor you expect from a good BBQ wing, and I really enjoyed it. My partner's Golden Flame wings were also really flavorful, so we both ended up being happy with the flavors we chose. I always think it's nice when two completely different sauces are both good because it means there's a better chance of finding something you actually like instead of one person loving their wings while the other person is stuck with a flavor they don't enjoy. The wings themselves were also nice and crispy, which was probably one of my favorite things about them. I love a crispy wing because it gives you that good crunch when you bite into it while still keeping the inside juicy. These weren't soggy or overly soft, and the sauces didn't take away from the crispiness either. The sauce had plenty of flavor without making the wings feel like they were just drowning in sauce. The National Wing Day special definitely made the experience even better and I love that they have both indoor and outdoor seating, it really adds to the casual atmosphere. It gave us a good reason to come in, and I felt like we actually got to enjoy the holiday instead of it just being another regular meal out. It was also fun getting two different flavors so we could compare them and see which one we liked more. read more

Super solid place for wings and bonus points for having World Cup matches on all the TVs! The staff in the dining area is top notch, quick and down to earth. The restaurant is your homegrown wing place with plenty of decorations around the walls supporting all the home teams. I got the golden flame wings and one order was good for 2.5 meals! The jalapeño poppers were super delicious as well. I will certainly keep this place on the radar. What a fun vibe! read more

Dollar store Basho says: Plump wings swim in sauce Garlic fries cannot be beat Hot spot Golden Flame I was visiting some friends in the area and was excited to finally try Golden Flame. They did not disappoint. Wings were huge. I could only eat four and took the rest home. The buffalo sauce was proper and plentiful. Much obliged. Several varieties of fries are offered. The garlic fries were out of this world. I couldn't stop shoveling them in. While I wasn't interested in the beers on tap, they have a fair selection that includes locals like Great Divide and Launch Pad. Staff were friendly and helpful. Place was reasonably clean. Wings are stupid pricey like everything else these days. Choose wisely. Good value here. Golden Flame has landed in my rotation, which stretches from Golden to Aurora. 4.5 stars. read more

This is my local hot wing spot by Movie Tavern. The service was great and they helped us get a slot even though there were super busy. The wings were awesome and sooo many options to choose from. The space is great for hanging out and lots of TVs for game day. Great beer options too! read more

I visit this location pretty often and the staff is always friendly. They have a lot of good flavor options for their wings and a lot of menu items to choose from. However, the food is not always consistent. I visited twice in the same week to pick up a meal for my partner and once for myself. The fries were really crispy and nicely seasoned for his meal, but the fries I got were soft and flimsy. The atmosphere is fun and it's always busy when I visit, but I wish they took a little more time to wipe down the tables because they are often sticky and have leftover crumbs from other patrons. read more

Wings are great and you can get them quickly. The carrots and celery tend to be dry indicating they have been cut for too long. Recommend doing the veggies at home as they will be fresher. read more

Got one of the beer / food meals. Great deal and huge portion sizes! We sat on the patio and were able to watch the football game. This is a great spot to watch sports and enjoy wings and a brew! The wings were tasty - the sauce had really great flavor! read more

Very nice happy hour. I got the spicy lemon pepper wings the sauce was very good not too spicy. But my wings were a bit dry the basket of fries it comes with and a drink for about 15 bucks isn't bad! Orange cream drink didn't taste like it and strong. read more

OMG! This is my favorite wing spot. Game day, dinner or meeting with friends. The service is always amazing, the food is always fresh and the drinks always hit. Recently went last Thursday for football and had a blast. Wasn't super busy because the broncos were not playing but will check it out when they are. Great atmosphere and family friendly! read more

I was craving some wings and decided to check out golden flame, hot wings. The restaurant had a good amount of seating inside and outside. It was a little dark inside, but it still set a good mood. It was very clean and the staff was on point. The man who took my order was very knowledgeable and gave me some good suggestions. He had great customer service. The wings were average to me. I decided to get the Garlic Habanero and the Golden Flame flavors. The garlic habanero was mostly salty and I didn't taste any of the habanero flavor, it was a dry rub. The golden flame sauce was tangy and a little spicy. I also got the garlic Parmesan sauce on the side to try it and it was pretty salty. The flavors were just underwhelming to me. I like the location and the fact that they had so many TVs. It would be a good place to get some wings with friends and watch a game. I am a wing fanatic and expect a lot out of wing places. It didn't hit the spot for me. read more

After a long foodless depressing morning I desperately needed sustenance. I searched up food on Yelp, this place popped up and wings sounded good so my destiny was sealed. I decided on lemon pepper with cajun fries. Times like this make me miss Atlanta when you pay $20 for a measly 10 piece *insert weeping emoji * The food came out insanely fast and was hot and fresh like they had cooked it fresh and it didn't sit under a heating lamp. Not saying they did but it was crazy how fast they prepared it. Service was friendly. Cajun fries were deliciously twangy. The boneless lemon pepper smacked my nostrils with the strength of the zest of the lemon. Nonetheless they were tasty, tender not juicy but not dry either just -t h e r e-. Would I recommend them or come out of my way to eat here again probably not. But this was not a bad experience by far! read more

Carry out or dining in? Their wings are always golden. The restaurant is usually clean and finding a table isn't ever a challenge. My favorite flavors are mango tango and spicy lemon pepper with a side of their garlic fries. The wings themselves are never tiny and the fries have the perfect amount of seasoning and density that I can't quite describe. How often do I go? Not enough. But enough to crave it. Hehe. read more

Ok, let's give this one a shot. Living in Denver, I've been unimpressed by the wing places here. Overpriced and the food is over done. Some of us just want a simple sandwich, simple wings, that taste good! Golden flame is now going to be my favorate in the Denver area. Of course it doesn't untop the #1 Jim's Wings, but that's all the way in Fort Collins. Food was legit. Tons of fresh fries for a single dinner order! Sauces were very very good. Place is clean, everything in the bathrooms works and is well stocked. Even hot water, image that a bathroom with hot water! Service was excellent. They helped me when I needed extra sauce in a second. Very helpful with the menu. a+ golden flame! You don't beat Jim's but you are the best in Denver area! read more

Several years ago it was acceptable now not really. The place was messy, dirty and unsanitary. Staff standing around talking when they could have cleaning the place up. The soda fountain wouldn't turn off when finished dispensing. I certainly won't return. I can not recommend this place. read more

I really wanted these chicken wings to be good. Unfortunately for the price I would rather go to wingstop. In addition to this, there was too much customer service. I never got a chance to fully read the menu or figure out what the sauces were because the cashier decided that I needed a tutorial on how to order chicken wings. read more

The staff did not wait on us, rather we had to order & pay at the counter. Service with the wings were average. Definitely cheaper to order beers by pitcher ( IPA available as well). Restrooms & dining area are clean. I noticed over staffed crew & they were all chill. I got to try lemon pepper & teriyaki wings & garlic fries. They rolls of paper towels on the table A bit on the pricey side, 4 adults & 3 beers ran around $100. Great wings, next time sauce on the side. Bonelesss wings also available. Parking is open with. Overall nice experience. read more

The last couple of times that I've been in it was between the lunch and the dinner hours. I ordered from the kids menu.the four bone and wings with fries and a drink. I feel that.the wings and the fries were heated and served. No part of my meal was fresh. This was two weeks in a row. read more

The food has always made this place worth it! I went for an Avs playoff game tonight though, and there were not many people at all, and the atmosphere was dead. I felt pretty out of place being the only one dressed in Avalanche gear. In spite of this, I was invisible to the staff. None of the people working there greeted me when I came in, and not a single person once came to me and offered me food or beverage. One of the staff even came over to wipe the table space right next to me at the long table I was sitting at, and didn't even acknowledge me. I left after one period. That's the bad, now on to the good. My family and I have been giving this place our business since I was a kid, back when it was known as "Wings of Fire". While I can't recommend the dine-in experience, I can recommend the carryout! The wings are delicious, perhaps the best part being the sauce. The chicken tenders and fries are also excellent. Give the place a shot for that, because they deliver where it matters the most, and I've never had any problems with the orders being accurate, and ready promptly. read more

Golden Flame Wings is officially my favorite wing place of all time. I'm super picky when it comes to meat, especially when it has a lot of fat--but these wings are perfect. They're meaty, cooked just right, and have practically no fat on them, which I really appreciate. Their spicy buffalo wings are incredible--the sauce is easily the best I've had anywhere. It's flavorful, has just the right amount of heat, and really makes the wings stand out. Plus, the portions are generous. When you order fries, they don't skimp--expect a big, satisfying serving. You might not even have enough room in your stomach for whatever else you ordered if you eat your fries first. On top of all that, the whole experience is just great. From the food quality to the service and atmosphere, everything hits the mark. If you're a wing lover (or even if you're not), I can't recommend this place enough. read more

Fast and friendly service and professional.. very tasty wings. Many flavors and competitively priced would recommend.

This place was awesome!! The garlic fries, fried zucchini and the fried okra were fantastic. The wings were equally great and the sauces packed great flavor. Our waitress was attentive and the food came out faster than expected! Might have to be my go to wing place when coming to Aurora!! Was recommend by the locals and did not disappoint. read more

We've been coming here for years and have never been disappointed until tonight. We ordered it through DoorDash. While eating, one of my kids found a "worm like" small black bug moving around on one of wings. You could tell it was from when they sauces the wings or something. I tried recording it but couldn't get it moving on video. It was "worm like" enough that we couldn't eat the rest of the food. We ended up throwing away about $120 worth of wings, fried mushrooms and cheese curds. It was really sad. The worst part is when we called to notify the owner of what happened; His demeanor was so nonchalant. He seemed more bothered that he was taking the call than worried about the quality of the food. We text a picture of the bug and video but he said it was just a black spec he saw. I get it, the pictures were terrible and I'm sure it being a busy Friday night, it wasn't ideal to take such a call but it just wasn't right. He Didn't even attempt to assure us of the cleanliness and quality of his food processing. He instead stated very "matter of fact-ly" that wings come straight from the fryer, insinuating that we were being untrue. No monetary loss, as we were able to get all our money back from DoorDash, but the way the owner handled things urged me to write this review. read more

He wanted wings for dinner so we headed over to the local spot. Sat at the bar for a drink too. Went with wings and a beer meal. Chose to try the Mile Hi Fries with their Cajun seasoning. It was a nice change but there was a lot of seasoning. Maybe a little less would be preferable for me. The service was fine. Quieter night which was nice. read more

First time ordering delivery from Golden Flame Hot Wings. The bone-on wings were marvelously cooked as the meat was juicy and tender. Sadly, the sauce was average at best. Similarly, the boneless chicken nuggets (habanero seasoned), were tasty and a good size. But again, the habanero sauce was mild and not even remotely spicy. In fact, the jalapeno poppers that were also ordered, were much spicier than the habanero seasoned nuggets. The fried okra was sensational. The okra was tasty and moist. The jalapeno poppers were also delicious. The poppers were not crispy with copious cheese inside. The sides were quite enjoyable. read more

Something about these wings just HIT every single time, especially if you like saucy wings. A friend showed me this place, and ever since, it has been my go to wings place. Never been disappointed by the food I get here, and they have pretty solid deals/combo meals! My favorite sauce flavor as of now is the Colorado Fancy and I'm a fan of their fries too! They have a wide variety of fries, so don't be afraid to branch out a little. :) read more

I was looking for a new wing place. I saw the good reviews on here and I went in. I really hate to state this, but this was some of the most saltiest food I left with my tongue, actually swollen. Even the sauce was just unbelievable amount of salt in it. Maybe this was just a fluke visit and somebody just had fun with the salt. I don't know, I don't think I'll be back. Look I hate leaving bad reviews as much as the owners. I would have LOVED to leave a 5 star. It's one of the reason I put two stars instead of one because I don't like doing it. I'm not some sort of privilege or anything like that. Go look at my reviews at some of the other restaurants I've been to. I still ate the food because it was 20+ dollars and I left a 15 to 20% tip on it at the counter so I didn't want to waste my money. On a positive note, the service was awesome and they brought the food out really quick Update: it's been three or four hours and my mouth is still raw from all the salt and my lips are cracked. read more

Wings and sauces were pretty good. They have a lot of different sauces and all our wings were heavily sauced which is always a plus for me and service was fast but none of the sauces really stuck out to me and the chicken sandwich was pretty plain. The fries were alright, a little soft and the garlic and normal salted ones tasted the same. The beach fries just had old bay sprinkled on top. read more

I was a huge fan of their wings back when I lived in Parker. Now that I had a chance to visit the original location, I stand by my enjoyment. My favorite flavor is still the Golden Flame. Recently had lunch here on a Sunday with some friends. It's very busy on Bronco game days and is quite loud when a game is on. If that's your thing great! It wasn't ours so we sat outside. Golden Flame is absolutely the best wing spot in Denver period no question! Their sauces are endless and being able to mix them is important! The cashiers are very prompt and genuine.
