Its environment, service, quality, and how quickly I get my food is just a very consistent experience. I've been here with all types of people and had good experiences that's something to write home about for me! When I first came in, I was confused if I was in the right spot cause it's part bar and part sandwiches. I will start that service is friendly and quick. There are lots of tables. I like the menu is pretty concise so it's not overwhelming. I can see why people like it and I understand the concept. People have told me how good the subs are so I finally gave it a try. For me, I'm not a huge fan. They're pretty soggy for me and I like my sandwiches dry and not dripping in sauce. The bread wasn't toasted enough for me. I will start out by saying the bartender Kirk is amazing. Really friendly and makes great drinks. The bar is a great vibe and has a great atmosphere so you are able to talk to everyone there. The sandwiches are great as all. I've had the Kali Mist and the BBQ Roast Beef and they were both amazing. Was also able to watch Sunday night football as well along with some extreme sports. Always a consistent spot for good tasting toasted sandwiches. The artwork in this place is unlike anything you'll see in most sandwich shops. I'll just say you'll have to see it for yourself. Their pretzel bites are also amazing. The food came out quick despite how busy they were and I liked how late they stayed open. They had a full bar as well. I visited a Cheba Hut years ago with a former co-worker. It's been a long time since I returned. When I visited this CH on this day, it was during a lunch break. I like the restaurant setup. There is a nice bar area off to the side, adjacent to the ordering and sub pickup areas. I also like that there are garage doors that lift up at the bar area. When the weather is nice, this makes for a nice open bar area. I ordered a KGB sub. This is a roast beef sub with horseradish. I like how you have about three different breads to choose from. I chose the bread that has garlic in it. Overall, sub was delicious! I also ordered the combo meal that comes with a bag of chips and a drink. I chose the Sun Chips and an iced tea for my fountain drink. I like that they offer unsweetened ice tea. Drink was great! I would love to return again wherever a Cheba Hut is located. Decided to try this place out . Wanted to get a couple of sandwiches for lunch for my wife and myself. Had to laugh at the name of the place. It's not a dispensary, but it's called the Marijuana Hut. And every menu item is named after different strains of Marijuana. How appropriate for Colorado. That's not the issue. But customer service is. I arrived after 1pm. There were maybe 6 people sitting down eating. 2 people ahead of me. And a couple can in behind me. So, not very busy. I noticed the cooks' ticket order rack was full with orders. These orders were all for Door Dash or Grub Hub. It was over 20minutes for the two people in front of me to get their orders. And it was another 30 minutes before I got my 2 sandwiches. The sandwiches were just ok. 3 star, maybe. I've been in the food service for over 20 yrs. As an Executive Chef. About don't treat your paying customers who took the time out and drove to your establishment to eat your food. We aren't sitting at home on the couch waiting for your food to get delivered to you. So by the time I got my food it was an hour,after I got there. Poor form for this place. You are going to take presidence with Door Dash and Grub Hub. Not good customer service. Here's a suggestion for you. You alternate ticket orders between the walk-in customers who don't have an hour to wait for a sandwich. There was a space full of orders waiting to be picked up for delivery. You could have made our orders , and we would all be eating and not standing in line staring into our So, if you have time to stand in line for your sandwich, try this place out. I may be a joker, but I'm not a smoker or a midnight toker. However, who says I can't get in on the fun at Cheba Hut? My sister and I came in late one night and looked over the menu. We stood at the front for a while, until one of the staff said to order at the bar. The staff are nice and easy to talk to, while still being professional. The atmosphere is very chill and easy going. Good music and not too loud so you can have a conversation. Our food was ready in about 15 minutes which wasn't bad, but I think I was expecting more of a subway type pace. They have a fun menu and lots of great options for late night munchies or meals in general. Out of everything, I chose the Ak-47, which is their take on a french dip. It was alright. I'm not a huge fan of mushrooms, but decided to order it as is. The mushrooms weren't cooked at all and they were huge chunks. I love Cheba, but this place was kinda lame. I came in and sat at the bar around 11:20 (forty minutes before they close) and there was one other person at the bar eating a sandwich. I waited for about five minutes before I went up to the counter and ordered a sandwich and asked about the bartender. I was advised that the bartender was on her break and they weren't sure when she would be back. I ate my sandwich and was about to leave when I noticed the person at the bar do something on the computer, indicating to me that she was the bartender. I ended up getting a drink at almost 11:45. I know everyone needs a break, but I think a bit of courtesy in letting me know what was going on would have been pretty easy to give. read more
