Texas Roadhouse NEVER disappoints!! This was my first time at their new building which is across the parking lot from the old building. Although parking is better the entry to the building is terribly located. Due to the building being new, this was the cleanest Roadhouse I've ever been in. Food is always SO good! I get the chicken salad with honey mustard and it is my favorite salad in the whole world!! Steaks are always cooked to perfection. This was the first time I tried an appetizer and the tater skins were AMAZING! Excellently cheesy! Our server was so nice and attentive. Very disappointing experience with Texas Roadhouse tonight. We had a valid coupon for a free appetizer, but apparently it required one additional entrée to qualify. That information was never explained when we called in and placed the order. By the time we arrived, the food was already fully prepared, and instead of simply honoring a $10 appetizer coupon or offering any kind of solution, the entire order was canceled. So instead of working with the customer over a misunderstanding that could have easily been clarified on the phone, they chose to waste a full order of food over $10. The other night, some friends brought us dinner from your online menu. I ordered the Chicken Critters & Ribs combo. Most of it was great, but one item motivated me to write this review. The critters were delicious. Juicy inside and crunchy outside. My side of corn was perfectly seasoned and tasty. I haven't had my sweet potato yet, but I'm confident that will be good. My complaint is about the ribs. We're big Texas Roadhouse fans. Usually, when we dine at the restaurant, everything is excellent. These ribs were not. They were so overcooked as to be dry and nearly burnt tasting. The extra BBQ sauce they sent didn't help. Okay, it was a busy Saturday, but at the price our friends paid, this shouldn't be. Pretty large steak house with delicious rolls. We tried the cactus blossom (fried onion) and a variety of steak dinner. We were actually pretty full after the roll and fried onion appetizer and got the majority of dinner for to go. One of my issues is that Texas Roadhouse is not from Texas. Being from Texas myself, it's almost sac religious. I got the fall off the bome ribs that tasted like they were made a month ago. Cheese fries were perfect and topped with bacon. Almost anything topped with bacon is better. Just sayin. Overall it was just ok. Very loud but I got to watch some football. GO HOSIERS!!! read more

I came here on a weekday in the early afternoon. All the staff were very welcoming and my party was quickly seated. The waiter was very friendly and attentive. She was proactive in brining out drink refills and bread. The food came out in a timely manner and everything tasted good. The salad greens were fresh and the steaks were cooked to order. Ah, Texas Roadhouse! Yes, being a chain, pretty sure most of Aurora is familiar with the menu. IMO, their steaks are always tasty and grilled exactly how I like. Yes, the infamous made from scratch biscuits are best when they set them on the table (our crowd never passes them up) to allow the butter to melt into that yummy goodness and we always take up on their offer to bag some for home (do it because they reheat very well). I always suggest the Dallas Filet as it truly is the most tender of cuts. Sundays are busy, so definitely recommending the call ahead for table reservations. It works well where TRH will send a link to your mobile to reserve a spot in line before heading over. This location is worth the visit since the refurbishment (the building formerly home to Zio's and then Ajuua!). Clean dining area plus the waiting room, though smaller, wasn't littered with peanut shells. Service was super as we were greeted twice before placing our drink order. Haley was very attentive to checking back with us at convenient times and getting us refills. The only down side is the parking. The lot is cramped and spots near the entrance are VERY limited. Plan to walk a bit or better, drop off family with mobility issues. read more

Moseyed on in to the newly built Texas Roadhouse in Aurora. Apparently, this is the biggest TRH in Colorado. Not much different on the inside but seats 20+ more parties than before. At the very least, everything was nice and new. Our waitress was excellent; she went over the menu in detail as well as the specials and deals for the day. I have been to TRH several times before so have had a variety of their entrees. On this visit, I selected the BBQ chicken with corn and green beans. All of it was very good. As we know, everything is bigger in Texas, so the entree really is two meals in one. Plenty left to take home :) As always, the rolls and cinnamon butter were great. Went to the new Texas Roadhouse for a birthday dinner. Although the space doesn't appear larger, workers tout 22 more booths. If you go before 5:00pm, it will be busy because they have an Early Diner special with many entrees for under $13, including the very filling 6-oz sirloin. That was my cut of choice. Paired with broccoli and sautéed mushrooms, that's a hefty, healthy, inexpensive meal. Win-win! My only complaint would be that my medium-rare steak was a tad underdone. (A true rarity in most restaurants.) Our server was knowledgeable and very attentive. She even paired some sides into a Country Vegetable Plate to get us the best deal. Great hospitality! Note - parking lot is not the best. 1st entrance is where most spots are for dine-in customers and is smallest. Second entrance is for drive-thru & pick-up orders with a ton of spaces. The new location is exactly the same layout so it feels a little deja vu but it is bigger and the service is still great. If you're into to go orders they really have a great set up for walkup/drive through orders which is a huge part of the new restaurant in the same parking lot. Food is always reliable here and I've never had a bad meal at TRH. This is always consistent and reliable for a great meal all around. Don't sleep on their chili it might just be my favorite part of coming here read more

3 times in a row with dirty plates. Last week plates were wet and dried food stuck on. Steaks were not done as requested. Mine was very rare, undercooked. Ordered medium rare. If they send out dirty plates, makes me wonder what it's like in the kitchen area. While waiting to ger seated, had to listen to kitchen help singing some Mexican song. Tonight was supposed to be a simple, happy evening. It was my wife's birthday, and she asked for Texas Roadhouse. I placed a mobile order for pickup so we could eat at home and enjoy a nice family dinner. I ordered the family-sized steak tips -- one of my personal favorites -- expecting the quality we've always gotten. Instead, I got one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. When I got home, my salad was missing, the dressing was wrong, and there was no honey butter for the rolls. The steak tips were bone-dry, with no gravy -- and unless I'm mistaken, they're always cooked with brown gravy. So I had to drive back to the location to have it fixed. After 45 minutes of waiting at the restaurant, they handed me back a pitiful "fix" -- two ounces of butter for all the rolls, one tiny cup of gravy to cover all the mashed potatoes and the steak, which was still dry and not cooked properly. The manager quite literally scoffed and rolled their eyes when I voiced my concerns. They didn't want to remake the order and offered nothing to make up for completely botching a family's dinner. By now, I should have been eating an hour and a half ago, but instead I've made two trips, wasted my time, and ended up writing this review. Because of their complete lack of care, my wife's birthday was ruined, my kids were upset, and the evening turned into a miserable mess instead of a celebration. We've ordered here many times and know what this meal is supposed to be like -- this was nowhere close. This isn't just "a bad order." This is a failure at every level -- from the kitchen, to the staff, to management's customer service. They turned a family tradition into a night I'll remember for all the wrong reasons. My dad loves Texas Roadhouse and wanted to go there for his 94th birthday. I let the staff know it was his birthday and they even put it on the table ticket. I even let the server know when we sat down and she signaled that she knew. When we were done with our meal our server asked if we wanted anything else and that was it. Nothing else, no birthday dessert, wish, or anything else. I was bummed and asked the front staff and a person who appeared to be a manager if they do anything special for birthdays and they said, "Yes we do." I told them that they did nothing even though I had let the staff and server know it was his birthday. They said they were sorry but didn't offer anything to make up for it. A little piece of cake or pie to go would have been a nice touch, but they decided to do nothing for my dad's birthday. I think that stinks. My 94-year-old dad deserves much better. Rant over. ********UPDATE********** I contacted customer service through their website. Within an hour I had a phone call from the manager and they made everything right! So we came in AGAIN bc I wanted to celebrate a new job offer. And even though I got food poisoning last time, I decided to chalk it up to maybe being wrong or just a bad plate I got. But again, I ended up in the bathroom all night. Stomach cramps, bad digestive issues and I won't go into details but it was the same experience I had last time. This time the only thing I can think of that I had the same was the mushrooms so maybe that's the repeat offender. But also, I gotta comment on the fact that they charged me $8 for a Titos HALF SHOT. Bc that was by far the SMALLEST shot I've ever seen. And I've seen shots everywhere. LOL. Needless to say, we will definitely NOT be visiting this particular location everrrr again. We'll just go literally anywhere else where the shots are twice as much liquid for half the price. Even the top shelf shots at any comparable restaurant are bigger and at least $1-2 less. So the best thing about Texas Roadhouse are the rolls and cinnamon butter. I ordered a dozen to go for 4.99 which is a pretty good deal especially when the rolls are huge. Perfect for breakfast the next day. The steak was just okay. It was a little dry. The fries weren't as crunchy - probably because it was a Togo order so they need to be reheated in the air fryer for that crisp. The salad was a nice alternative and they give you a good amount of dressing. I would suggest that you order the ranch with the fries because the ranch was actually really good and this is coming from someone who usually doesn't like ranch. read more

Came here with no reservation and was able to get seated within 10 minutes. We immediately were given the rolls with cinnamon butter which is one of the main reasons we came. It's so good we went through several baskets. The cactus blossom was also very tasty and definitely something you need to try. I'd say it's worth the hype plus the sauce it comes with. I brought my 98 year old mother to this Texas Roadhouse for her birthday. We were a party of 10. Imagine my surprise to discover they put us on a waiting list. Even though Yelp says they accept reservations they do not. Copied this morning directly from Yelp: Make a reservation Fri, Nov 28 7:00 pm 2 people I was livid and the young manager told me I "should not expect to be seated in front of the other people who were already here" and he didn't even offer to find a chair for my mother to sit. I immediately decided to place a one-star review on Google and then decided to wait to experience the service and the food. The service was great. The restaurant was busy and a party of 10 is not easy, but the girl was wonderful. The food, however, well, that's another story. The rolls are terrific, of course. One of my guests returned her steak because it wasn't cooked to order. Then she had to wait 20 minutes for the replacement steak and by that time the rest of us had finished our meals. Any decent restaurant puts a replacement at the head of the kitchen queue so the food can be eaten at the same time with the rest of the party. I ordered a filet mignon, butterflied medium. I received perfectly seasoned shoe leather. I didn't return it to the kitchen but instead smothered it with sweet potato to get it down. The purpose of our party was to enjoy my mother, and yes, we succeeded. The 3 stars are because your server brought the rating up from 1. I know people rave about this restaurant. Not only is the food delicious here, but the bar staff and clientele are simply THE BEST! I dropped my wallet by the door and a kind stranger checked my ID, found me and returned it. I've never felt safer in Aurora than when I came here. Also, the bartender, Joy, is an absolute joy! Super friendly and accommodating. Next trip my grilled chicken breast on my salad was tough-like rubber bands-and I had to box it up to finish cooking the undercooked chicken at home. Even then it was tough. That time we had invited a guest and I did not feel comfortable asking the chef to cook it more. The waitresses were always wonderful and the other food was ok.
