Our server was very prompt & friendly! Some great specials for St. Patty's week were available. All of our food was delivered as ordered and tasted great!

First, I really enjoy going to Outback because you can place a call ahead to reserve a spot! It's a great feature especially when you have a large party. The service was really good and the food was quick. We enjoyed the blooming onion and we had plenty of food to take home! My steak was a little rare, but it was easily reheated when I got home.

Ordered a steak salad medium well. The steak was overcooked and the lettuce, carrots, were not fresh at all with clumps of inedible hard pieces. Sent salad back. Sweet Potato it was overcooked, mushy and floating in butter. Our server Ethan was excellent and very attentive. I tipped him accordingly.

It had been almost five years since my last visit to this Outback Steakhouse. We had a gift card, so we gave it another try. This time, my experience was much better than before. First of all, our server, Brooke, was fantastic. Super friendly, helpful, patient, and efficient. I was there with my 93-year-old dad, and neither one of us was hungry for a steak, so my dad had the pork chops and I had the shrimp. They both turned out to be excellent choices. I had some of his pork chops and it was freakin' great. I think it's better than the steaks. My dad still can't stop talking about how good they were...and you get two of them!! $21.49 and it comes with your choice of two sides. Plenty of food. I had the grilled shrimp entree. $25.49. Comes with 16 shrimp and a choice of two sides. Very tasty, but I think the pork chops are the way to go. I'm happy we gave this place another chance. My only complaint is the entry doors are very heavy. My elderly dad had very limited mobility and it was really difficult to navigate the doors. I wish they'd do something about it...even an automatic door option handicap switch would be super helpful. Speaking of the elderly, you get 10% off your meal with your AARP card! Sometimes gettin' older ain't so bad!

This used to be my biweekly hangout back in the day. I hadn't been back here in a while. Yesterday we were here for a birthday meal for my niece. We were greeted pleasantly with a big smile from the hostess. When our server came she was also pleasant ensuring we were well taken care of. The food was cooked great and correctly. And they even sang my niece happy birthday so we could embarrass her.

You ever find some old gift cards and wonder have I used these? I called the number on the back of the cards but the bot said the card numbers were invalid. Since it was an automated bot I was determined to check for myself. Well, when I got to the restaurant I needed the cards checked since I knew these cards were from 2017 or earlier. My server, Brooke ran the cards and when she gave me the balances I knew I was in really good shape. I quickly ordered the 22oz Melbourne Porterhouse medium rare with broccoli and a house salad. The steak was definitely the biggest cut on the menu, which matched my attitude-- go big or go home. When it arrived I wasn't sure I could finish it but Brooke had faith. Who am I disappoint? The filet side of the porterhouse was very delicious and cut without effort. The NY side also cut fairly easy. There is always some carving involved with a cut this big, but it was definitely delicious. The broccoli and salad were also tasty. The bread was warm and perfect. The servers all seemed to be smiling and enjoying themselves. The music was an interesting mix of country and Justin Bieberesque type hits. It was not overwhelming and I only noticed it twice. There are plenty of TVs in the bar area if you need to watch a game and throw back some drinks. If not, get your conversation on, stare into each other's eyes, and whisper sweet nothings by choosing dining room seating. The dining room lends itself to family eating, couples, solo flyers, and casual dress. I waffled back and forth but finally deducted a star since the interior and restrooms were dated, but so am I, so it didn't bother me; however, it might feel meh to a hipster. So add a star back at your discretion. Overall, a quality experience. I recommend you give it a go-- take a crack at it and enjoy a Fosters.

Great Wine Selection What sets Outback apart from Texas Roadhouse and the like is the wonderful wine selection. There's nothing I crave more than a nice glass of wine with my steak. Fits the bill every time! The atmosphere is more upscale, too.

He nailed our orders and the food came out pretty quick. I hadn't had bison brisket before, super tender and juicy, full of flavor. The sprouts were great and the broccoli was creamy and delicious. The mashed potatoes were puréed to perfection and the gravy was the perfect finishing touch. It was really busy for a Tuesday but we only waited about 20min. Totally worth the wait! I dined here recently for a bougie meal with a few work colleagues. It's an upscale restaurant, an homage to the steakhouses of yesteryear, yet modern and refined. For a Monday night the place was popping! Being with other colleagues, I was comfortable having a few others make the decisions. We landed on oysters as an appetizer and these were great. Being landlocked we always get the eye roll when they say the oysters are fresh...to their credit, they brought us a nice selection of East Coast and West Coast oysters that I found to be quite tasty! One of the best parts of dining at Old Hickory is their bread and butter. Like woah, it shouldn't be this good! Soft rolls and decadent butter, it's tough to beat a tried and true combination like this. Sides are a la carte like most steakhouses, maybe one day they'll change this! We ordered a few for the table. These were lacking in my humble opinion, the potatoes and brussels were just okay. They do provide a nice sized portion, and a single side can feed 2-3 people. Back to the good, a colleague and I shared the 24 oz. Bone In Ribeye. Now we're talking!!! This was cooked to a lovely medium rare, and loaded with flavor. Ribeyes are obviously one of the superior cuts of meat for a reason, this was buttery, rich, and damn delicious. I was stuffed, but we tried two desserts. I only had a bite of each, and these were presented beautifully and both great. I have to give a shoutout to our server, who took great care of us, made wine recommendations, and seemed genuinely happy to be taking care of us. Prices are very high, but the service exceeds expectations. If you're looking to ball out, Old Hickory delivers!

The lobster bisque was delicious, the Caesar salad with anchovies was excellent, and the steak was cooked perfectly. I also enjoyed the baked potato initially, although the inside became quite dry after the top layer. What disappointed me most was the overall atmosphere, especially considering the very high price point. For a steakhouse charging premium prices, I expected a more upscale and elegant dining experience. The lack of tablecloths and the overall ambiance made it feel less luxurious and refined than I anticipated. The service was wonderful! We had a server that knew the menu and made great recommendations. A great steakhouse experience is about more than just the food. It's also about the setting, presentation, and feeling of occasion. While the meal had several highlights, I wish the restaurant's atmosphere better matched the pricing and quality of the cuisine.

We happened across this listing for a restaurant -it's located in the Hyatt regency- but it's an open space with lots of windows and pretty views. We also were at the start of Denver restaurant week, it was early and we had selected items on a happy hour menu too. There were many menu options to choose from. Since we were early on a Sunday the restaurant was staffed however there were not many patrons until we were about 45 minutes into our dinner. It was very nice to have attention and great service, but we will have to return at a busier time to get the real feel. I had selections from the restaurant week menu and my husband chose from the regular menu. He was able to also take advantage of the happy hour drink menu. I had the starter salad with baby gem lettuce and mango, the presentation was very beautiful, and tasted so fresh and lovely. Then I had the trout featured entree also so pretty with asparagus and potatoes and wonderfully served. It was so tasty that I did say I would choose this if available on a regular menu too. For dessert we choose a banana dessert that were fried inside a crispy wrapper served with and iced cream again so pretty and delicious. My husband enjoyed the 5280 burger entree with fries, he stated that it was perfectly done to his specified request. He enjoyed it tremendously. We spent about an hour and a half and people began to arrive and be seated, there was never a disruption to our terrific service from Charlie and crew! We definitely enjoyed the entire restaurant experience and will come back on a regular date night.

That said, my husband and I really enjoyed Borealis and ate most meals at the restaurant during our one-week stay. The only times we didn't eat at Borealis were when we went to my parents' and siblings' homes and a couple of times we went out. Even though Stanley was nearby, we preferred the dishes and service at Borealis. Highlights: Breakfast: French toast. It was simple but it was tasty. It was perfectly cooked. It didn't come with sides but it was perfect the way it was. It wasn't too sweet. I had a humble black coffee and half of my husband's bacon and it was the perfect start to the day. Happy Hour/Dinner: I'm not a big dinner person, so I tend to opt for appetizer or happy hour food. I had the pork green chili, egg rolls, and sliders during our stay. The sliders were delicious!!! I was actually going to have the hamburger that everyone at the bar raved about (I was there one night and the four other guests were eating and commented to the bartender how it was really good; my husband also had it twice), but it was too big for me. I figured that the sliders were of the same meat so it was the perfect size for me. Anyway, it did not disappoint. The egg rolls were ok, but a little too big for me. Maybe preference; maybe bias (my dad's is the best!). Dishes my husband had that I sampled and was blown away: The salmon with whipped ube mashed potatoes is a must-have. That was the perfect blend of savory and slight sweet. Had I not eaten my sliders, I would have orded my own. I have never seen this combo and it's definitely worth the drive (if you are not staying at the hotel). The steak with adobo sauce was also fantastic. The sauce was served on the side. Even without the sauce, the steak was tasty. And as I mentioned, he had the hamburger twice. Dessert: The ube tres leches was DELICIOUS!!!!! Other considerations: Price Point - Happy to say that it's not your typical hotel crazy price point. The cost is comparable to local restaurants, and the food was really good. Service - Shout out to the bartenders, especially Charlie! Very friendly and chill. Parking - There is free one-hour parking. There are also other free parking nearby. Seriously, even if you are not staying at the hotel, Borealis is definitely worth checking out.

SIPS: While our friend opted for a glass of wine, my husband stuck with water, while I looked at their mocktail menu. The options are limited, but available for a fun treat. I opted to try the "Little Kiss" which was a mixture of grapefruit, sparkling soda, and cranberry. The flavors were on point for the holiday season and tasted refreshing. I will admit, the glass it came in was a turn off. It was like a normal draft size class, which made me feel like I was about 9 years old. Bummer. Otherwise, there are plenty of options for drinkers alike - beer, wine, cocktails, you name it, they have it! SUSTENANCE: The food!! This spot is known for their rustic Italian and woodfired creations - and the menu is fire. I asked for some bread and oil to start - because that sounded divine. It came out quickly and was a nice intro to the meal. My friend opted for the Pasticcio - aka meatballs, three cheese tortellini, slow braised Bolognese, herby pomodoro, bechamel and parm brulee - which he found to be fantastic! It came with more bread, which was perfect for dipping. My friend got a kick out of the presentation as well - in a cast little iron cauldron! I chose the Seafood Pasta - a special of the night. I'll admit, I was a bit disappointed in my meal - as it was a mixture of squid, shrimp, scallops and other - in a red sauce. Not what I was expecting with seafood, but always down to try new things. The seafood flavor overpowered the dish - which made it hard to finish. I opted not to take it home. My husband noshed on the Brasato - Barolo wine slow braised angus short rip, creamy polenta and gremolata - which was DIVINE. The meat was SO tender, delicious and took on the rich wine flavor, perfect over potatoes! YUM! The pizza stood out to me as well, but considering Cattivella is classy, I opted for other. I also really enjoyed the sides that come with the meal especially the fries, plantains, mashed potatoes, and pão de queijo, which were all tasty and a highlight of the dinner. However, the meats weren't as flavorful as I expected, as if they under seasoned the meats. Some cuts were decent, but overall they didn't stand out the way I hoped they would. Service was a bit mixed. Our waitress was polite, but there seemed to be some language barrier issues, which led to a misunderstanding when we were charged for a birthday dessert after being told it would be free. To their credit, the manager came by and corrected the mistake, comped the dessert, and also applied a 10% military discount, which I appreciated. Another issue was that the churrasqueiros (the servers bringing the meats) would still approach the table even when the card was turned to "no meat." It felt like they weren't really paying attention to the signal system, which is a key part of the dining experience at a place like this. Overall, the salad bar and sides were great, but the meat quality and service consistency could be better. I appreciated the manager stepping in to fix the dessert issue, but the experience didn't quite live up to expectations.
