The "salad" bar was lacking in varied selections and the cheese breads seemed old and hard. It's a fairly clean place which is great but the food fell short of my expectations I have from other charrascurria restaurants. Our server Christian was very kind and attentive to most of our needs and that was nice. The room decor was a bit cheaply done and made me feel like it was a school lunch room. First time trying Brazilian food and wanted to try a local restaurant! The staff here were wonderful. So accommodating and ready to answer any question and offer their opinions. I tried the classic traditional caipirinha which was great! The server brought over a taste of the coconut flavor as well for me to taste as he said it was his personal favorite. My hubby ordered the beer. We both ordered the combo 3 for dinner. Comes with two chicken wrapped bacon, 2 pork ribs and 2 steaks so the two sides as well as rice n beans(they ask if you'd like beans). We did salad and fries for sides. My chicken had good flavor but was very dry. Same with the pork ribs. The streaks had great flavor and was juicy but chewy. Fries and salads were good and hubby got the beans with his rice and said that was good (no beans for me). Also got the chocolate mousse for dessert which was yummy. The atmosphere and staff really made it a great dinner but the dryness of both the ribs and chicken is what took the rating down for me. I'd love to give it another try though! read more

We had lunch there on the weekend and did the buffet, meatless to allow us to savor the side dishes. We will be back for dinner in the future. We will probably order off the menu as we do not need to load up on the all you can eat buffet. A couple of meats and sides will be more than enough. We were seated quickly but were quickly ignored. We sat around awkwardly for five minutes waiting for someone to acknowledge us, come by, give us water or take our drink orders. Finally a waitress came by to take our drink orders and I mentioned the lack of waters. She then proceeded to refill every other table's cups and did not give us any water. When a second waitress came with our cocktails I once again had to ask for water. The meats that came out were all well done and gray. Even the top sirloin that was red had a tough well done texture to it. To add insult to injury we were charged a 20% service fee. For nonexistent service. For a table of two. On weekends, they have an all you can eat Brazilian tableside service for 33.99. On weekdays, it's more like casual dining with a curated menu. Coconut Lemonade. Have you ever heard of such a thing because I haven't. For 7.95, we were given a large pitcher of this heavenly beverage and couldn't get enough of it. I would come back just for this alone. Combo 1. Today was probably the last of my four trips to Aroma do Brazil since 2017, all for takeout. Because the food is tasty and prices are reasonable, this spot should be a regular for us. It hasn't been and I was reminded why upon ordering and then when we arrived home to eat. There are trends here for me besides good food. Four visits, four times they're out of mashed potatoes. Weekday lunches all until today. Four different reasons. Take them off the menu, please, or let us know when you have some. Idaho and the San Luis Valley are good places to look. This was not worth mentioning before because I gave the benefit of the doubt. Today, I was given the wrong order. It was the one stuffed at the bottom of the bag, so we trusted it was correct like our other combo on top. Nope. Instead of a Combo #3, I got a plate with no meat, no beans--just some random sides I did not order. Not worth driving back to Aurora. I'm so disappointed. I was really looking forward to sitting for the weekend all-you-can-eat Gaucho service, but they just can't seem to get the little things right. Não, obrigado. This is not a one-star restaurant but our experiences have left us dissatisfied. Two stars for longitudinal letdowns but otherwise solid food. read more

The food tastes better than the lighting captured it. Not featured are their fried yucca which was to die for!! The peppers are such a yummy & spicy addition to the meal & the dessert was a fun experience, however the passion fruit option does not compliment the rest of the dish. My combo number 1 was the perfect serving size while getting to sample multiple things. The normal salad was yummy, while I wasn't a fan of the quinoa salad. Service was great. For a return experience we had a most incredible Brazilian meal at Aroma this evening. It carried us back to our travels to that beautiful country 17 years ago. Starting with amazing service, we had combos that three of us shared. Incredible meats, salads, yucca fries with sauce that sparkled -- mayo mix with their chimichurri sauce. The chimichurri also sparkles on its own as well! The lemonade is out of this world. Gotta get some! We finished with a delicious pineapple fried with cinnamon sugar, topped with ice cream. Went for the weekend all-you-can-eat. Meat was bland, didn't really have any flavor. Meat was additionally tough and dry, almost as if it was cooked hours before being served. Okay, Aroma do Brazil is my favorite price to value restaurant in the entire Denver/Aurora area that I've tried so far. We arrived in on a Friday night and only had to wait 10 minutes for a table so not bad at all. Our server was such a friendly face he was a joy to have. We started off with the coconut Caipirinha and the red wine Batida. My partner enjoyed the batida but wow let me tell you that coconut caipirinha was the tastiest drink I've ever had. I could chug that by the gallons. Next time i will definitely order a pitcher to myself! We finished those drinks pretty quickly (oh did i mention they are $6.50?! Wtf when are you ever going to find that price in denver??) our next round was the strawberry caipirinha and strawberry batida. We both definitely preferred our first round cocktails but these were good too. For the food, we went all out and for appetizers got the croquettes (half chicken half beef) and cheesy bread. Note , it took 20 minutes to come out which we he warned us about beforehand. Not sure if that's normal or they had a batch in the oven. Either way, they came out piping hot and fresh. For entrees we both got the combo 3. We're both pretty big eaters and still had a ton to take home. Pro tip, ask for a side of Chimichurri sauce and your meat will be elevated to the next level. The yucca fries were also incredible and noteworthy to mention. We also took Flan home to go because we were stuffed but wanted a treat. Overall, for all the food mentioned above, our total was ~$110 including tip which is unreal for 4 cocktails, 2 apps, 2 entrees, and dessert. Note, tip is included. Homey restaurant, so rare to find Brazilian food in Denver! They did not disappoint. On Mon - Friday you can order a la carte, but they have full AYCE churrascaria on the weekends. Portions were large and plentiful. Prices are good too - in my old age I'm rather grumpy about paying the high prices to eat out in Denver these days. My previous review was unfavorable, but it was all due to a misunderstanding. The owners reached out, addressed my concerns, and cleared the air. My son and I returned, and had a great experience. Yes, the weekend is buffet-only, but it is actually a better experience than the bigger steakhouses. Because the restaurant is smaller, you get service much more often, and the meat is a lot fresher off the flames. The quality of food here is very high. And the drinks are a must. Brazilian lemonade seem extra frothy from here, compared to most brazilian steakhouses. The caipirinha is strong and so refreshing. They work the lime and the sugar for each drink. How great it is to have a locally owned addition to the Brazilian Churrascaria scene in Aurora. The big chains are excellent, but it's nice to be able to support a small business. We came here during the week, so we didn't get to experience the weekend AYCE. We ordered the ribs and sirloin combo and sirloin tacos. The ribs were excellent, as were the sirloin tacos. We even ordered an extra couple of ribs because my daughter liked them so much. The sirloin with the combo plate was too well-done for my preference, which made it a bit dry. Love this place. Such tasty food and a good portion. You'll have leftovers for $20 since it's rice, meat, salad and a side. I like how they season their meats too - never too salty just right, the rice & beans is flavorful, the salad has a good dressing and my fav side is their version of potato salad. I miss Dominican/PR food from NY and this is probably the closest I can get to what I miss about that cuisine (the rice and meats plus random sides). Their beans are pretty tasty also. I normally do Ubereats but this time picked up and the lady was so friendly. It looked like a nice homey place inside too- I would definitely try them as a dine in option. I've done Fogo de Chao and this is comparable and a better price point. I can't really do that unlimited meat option anymore- so a la carte is better imo. Unfortunately, they brought me, perhaps, some leftovers of old chunks of meat that were only a microwave or oven-warmed, very, very dry chunks of beef. Wonderful family restraunt in an unassuming location. The interior is clean with plenty of room to get to the salad bar. You start off with the salad and warm buffet, which is well stocked. The chicken stroganoff and "sausage and beens" are delicious. Then the main course starts coming. A red and green card on the table was helpful to start and pause the rotation of delicious meats. The spicy chicken was outstanding. The beef chimicurri was heavenly with a meaty steak flavor that follows with a smokey richness. The top sirloin is tender and tasty. The staff are wonderful. What a wonderful dining experience at Aroma of Brazil. Not only is this a great and fun spot for bigger groups (who doesn't like succulent meats delivered right to your plate) but everything was phenomenal AND you can support small business over big chains... But they also had options for the no drinkers of the group, and I thoroughly enjoyed the Passion Fruit Brazilian Lemonade. It was somewhat creamy and I am here for it! Starting with some apps, you can never ever go wrong with croquettes and the cheesy one was definitely *chefs kiss* excellent for a fun cheese pull photo too, if you're into that kind of thing! You then load your plate with rice, black bean stew (amazing..I could have been completely content with this for an entree) salad, and a yucca flour side, and then come the meats! Lots of steak, naturally, delicious Brazilian sausages, chicken wrapped in bacon and Brazilian Cheesesteak. You will not leave here hungry! And of course gotta end with dessert. I'm gonna be honest I haven't had flan in years because growing up in SoCal I've only tried Mexican flan which was always meh..let me tell you Brazilian Flan is next level. I haven't had a ton of Brazilian food but Aroma of Brazil definitely felt authentic from what little I know about the food. I met a friend here for our Tuesday night girls night and it was such a great spot. We shared the #3 Combo Plates, and croquettes. So glad we shared because it was so much food for a great price! The waiter suggested getting 2 of each type of croquette since they come with 6. I honestly loved all 3 (chicken, cheese, and beef)! I didn't expect the croquettes and the sides to be my fav part of the meal but they were. The meats on the combo were a tad dry so I think that's why I enjoyed the yucca fries, croquettes, and their rice the best. I don't know what they do to prepare their rice but it was SO good and flavorful! The caprese salad was our second side and was light and refreshing but didn't scream Brazilian in my mind. We started our dinner out with a Batida and a Caipirinha both of the drinks were refreshing and really affordable! For food I ended up going with a number 2 combo with a side of chicken stroganoff! I went to Aroma of Brazil yesterday on a field trip with my class and even though they weren't expecting 30 people - or more - It was a great experience overall. I had the Combo 5 which I recommended to my classmates (most of them were there for the first time and they said they loved it). I had a mini reunion with a long lost friend here. We wanted to try something different then the usual chain restaurant, so I was able to find this hidden treasure on Yelp. One of my friends decided to try a Brazilian lemonade. The waitress said that it comes in a small pitcher so we could share. Aurora is definitely NOT a good destination but AoB is worthy of a visit. The usual curiscuria Brazilian steakhouses are more of a show, like Benihana is for Japanese food, than a culinary goal. AoB flips that game and returns the focus to the flavors and away from the show. It is situated in a humble strip mall space at the Southeast corner of Illiff and Havana. There are no pretensions and the staff is so very welcoming; it's like you have been invited to a backyard Brazilian BBQ party. Be prepared, when you walk in, you will be hit with a tsunami of garlic and cooked meat scents. And you will take them home with you in your clothes. Unfortunately, that is the price you pay for an aggressive open kitchen at the front of the house. Regarding the food itself, don't miss the cheese bread and definitely pair it with a Brazilian beer or caipirinha (kai-purr-REEN-yah). They make their cocktails exceptionally fresh and truly with love. Other reviewers, before we visited, raved about the croquets. I cannot quite rave with the same enthusiasm as I found them to be too much a food truck item and less of a sit-down fare. The garlic steak is deeply flavorful as are the ribs. The steak sandwich is additionally deep with comfort food vibes but a bit too bready for my preference (I loved it better as an open faced sandwich than caped). Like all Brazilian, meat-heavy fare, the price point is higher than comparable restaurants in the area but I find value in AoB with the exceptional service, great drinks and classic examples of authentic (not showy) Brazilian fare. After all, do I really need to pay an extra $20/person to watch a guy in an apron parade my dinner around the dinning room on a skewer? Nope, I lean toward this version of Brazilian food. read more
